Great location! Quaint spot that was only really used for sleep, good enough for a couple that expects to be out a lot. Contact with owner was great, and access to the building was made easy.
Cute rooms. A little cramped, but wifi easy , location great. Tv didnt work, but why watch TV when there is so much action outside. Try brasserie Rosie around the corner for great franch food, Glace Room for yummy gelato and some amazingly hearty crepes and the corner- la Creperie Qui fait l’Angle. Near two key metro lines and lots of walking streets
This was such a lovely apartment. The bed was so comfortable and the courtyard in the back of the property was in bloom with beautiful jasmine and rose. The front street is a bit noisy, but with the windows closed it was no problem. Great location with quick and easy subway access to multiple lines.i would definitely stay here again.
The owner was super welcoming. Check in was personalized and friendly. Apt has all amenities. Next to lots of lively streets/ restaurants. Close to Bastille place, with easy connection to major Paris attractions.
This was my daughter's and my first trip to Paris and first time to use VRBO. It was beyond wonderful! Bastille is a wonderful neighborhood to begin our adventures everyday, and we tried almost every restaurant, patisserie et cafe we could. The Metro was easy to figure out and we packed our days and then crashed at night in this comfortable, quaint and beautifully decorated apartment. We opened the window to hear the nightlife and rested our tired feet. We are so grateful to Mireille!
This is a cozy 1 bedroom with a Tub/Shower. Worked great for our needs as tourists. Way better than a hotel. Washer worked great so we could travel very light. Had wifi and a computer to use. Tv as well but we never used it. It is located on the second floor so not may stairs. Host was waiting for our arrival and was extremely nice and helpful. Would stay again.

J'Adore Cette Appartament, Merci!
It was so fun and easy to stay at this apartment. In the heart of the Bastille, do not worry about noise! When you close the windows it shuts out all of the street noise in front, I mean all of it.
I stayed here by myself for a week and loved calling it home, the apartment is better than the photos, the bed was totally comfortable and everything worked great, no issues whatsoever. Very easy to hit the metro on a central route, the Richard Lenoir marché open air market is just a few blocks over and bus stops all around. Hip neighborhood in the old part of Paris. Totally safe both in the neighborhood and in the apartment.
Mireille is very accommodating and has a neighbor nearby who can help in a pinch (and speaks English).
Merci pour tout! I loved my stay in your home.

Mireille's apartment is full of charm and character. The space is well curated, with plenty of room to chill and everything one needs all within 400 square feet. I loved the art, the lighting, the sconces, the comfy bed, and the details of the building like wood beams on the ceiling and a wood closet. The location is great, a short walk to the Bastille Market on Sundays and Thursdays. And Chez Paul just a few doors down provided a fantastic dinner on my last night in town. Other great restaurants within ten minutes walking, and lots of shopping. Metro is just around the corner.
The apartment is located on a street that is calm by day, but at night becomes a giant bar scene. It was a little shocking at first, but fortunately the double-paned windows keep the noise to a minimum (and I sleep with a white noise machine on that drowned out the rest of it).
I believe this was my first time staying in a place that is someone's actual living quarters when they're not renting it out. As such, there were more personal items around than I'm used to seeing, but I managed to move things aside when needed to make space. I think the owner had been out of town for an extended stay so there had been other travelers before me, and while everything had obviously been cleaned for my arrival (bathroom, kitchen, etc), I did take a microfiber cloth to dust off the little clock and shelf just by the bed where your head lays. But other than a little clutter and dust, everything was so super charming and comfortable. And she has everything you would need to have a night in for dinner and wine at the cute cafe table in the kitchen. It really felt like home after my first night and for the rest of my stay. It's a great size for one or a couple. Always felt safe.
Mireille doesn't speak English (and I studied a French language program for about 5 weeks prior to coming so I can hardly communicate in French either), but since she was out of town her friend Isabelle greeted me when I arrived, and fortunately she did speak English. Between the two of them, all my questions were answered quickly and the communication was easy and clear. Google Translate became my go-to for our electronic communications when necessary.
All in all, if you are looking for a real taste of what it would be like to live in Paris as a Parisian would, I recommend this lovely, sweet apartment.
We had a wonderul experience at Marielle's apartment
Marielle was so charming and gracious to us. She was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is very comfortable and the location is very close to the metro which made traveling the city
easy. We would definitely stay there again. Merci beaucoup, Marielle!
This is a very pleasant, attractively-furnished apartment a short walk from Place de la Bastille. It is a perfect size for 2 and a perfect location. Several subway lines are close by and the neighborhood offers many restaurants as well as cafes, bars and small markets. Very nice place to stay for visiting the city and for relaxing in the neighborhood. The interior courtyard outside the bedroom is quiet and green. Mireille was very welcoming and helpful in getting us settled into the apartment. Lovely visit.
Mireille is a very kind host, and her apartment is very charming. Comfortable and well located right near the Bastille. Some noise from the street at night, but nearly silent if you close the window. Kitchen is well stocked and ready for cooking. Good value!
Mireille's apartment is right in the heart of Bastille, so close to attractions and nightlife. But it's also calm and quiet, a great place to relax. It's well set up, comfortable with everything you need even for a longer stay of two weeks. And very cool, full of character. Mireille was great, check in was easy, and she was welcoming and helpful with any questions. Totally recommend!

Paris Perfect
This adorable little apartment is not only comfortable and charming, the location allows for easy access to plenty of cafes, shopping, nightlife, and sightseeing strolls. The metro is a short walk or, if you prefer, easy taxi or Uber pick-up. The courtyard is beautiful, the neighborhood friendly. Mirelle was genuinely sweet accommodating and the apartment was clean and well furnished with anything you may need. When I return to Paris I would definitely stay there again.

Petit appartement merveilleux
