This beautiful three-bedroom, three-bathroom house offers a unique feel and is a great place to get away from it all and check out all that 30A has to offer! Magnolia Cottages by the Sea, in which this home is located, is truly a hidden gem. Located directly on 30A, it is conveniently near Rosemary and Alys Beach; both of which are less than 2 miles away. It is also near Seaside. The area is quiet and there is minimal traffic, perfect for those looking for a quiet retreat.

Latitude Adjustment is an adorable cottage that offers a ton of great amenities. You’ll first notice a spacious open living room, complete with two sofas and a large flat screen. Once you make it to the kitchen, there you will see a large space with tons of bar seating as well as a nice kitchen table and beautiful custom cabinetry. There are granite counter tops, as well as stainless appliances. The home also has a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer as well as a folding area.

Each of the three bedrooms comes equipped with a flat screen. There is a queen bedroom that features an attached full bath. Then there is another bedroom, perfect for kids, which features two twin over twin bunk beds. In the hallway, there is also another full bath. The master suite features a king bed and private bath.

This home doesn’t end there! You’ll want to check out the large screened-in porch; the perfect place to kick back and relax at the end of the day. The home is also really close to the beach and the community pool! Come and get your latitude adjusted!

AREA ATTRACTIONS:
Welcome to the Magnolia Cottages by the Sea! These beautiful properties have been designed by award winning architects and make up one of the most perfect beach cottage communities in the area. The community offers a pool, a bocce court, a horseshoe pit and a private boardwalk to the beach. If you will be using a golf cart for the week, no worries as the community offers private golf cart parking along the beach. Magnolia Cottages are the perfect location for your next family vacation, there is truly something for everyone down here!

30A Memorial Day Vacay

Enjoyed our stay, except poor communication with VRBO/property Manager. We received an email to pre-register (no problem). We received another email to register for pool/beach access. I followed the link, populated the cells, but when it came to enter our property address, it was not listed. I sent an email on VRBO. Got a response the next day telling us to contact the property manager. Called the PM and they looked us up and said that our street did not have access to the pool/beach and that the the pool/beach email was sent by mistake. Not entirely sure this is accurate. I have used VRBO at least 4 times. My limited experience, when the owner reaches out to welcome us, the experience has been smooth. When the property manager reached out to us. we have had minor hiccups. Not that we did not enjoy our stay, accommodations, etc., just needed to spend time figuring stuff out, simple stuff like access to the unit, or access to the community pool/beach. The simple stuff should not be an issue to the renters. VRBO requires that rent be paid prior to arrival. They should ensure the renters receive the same curtesy from the property owner/manager upon our arrival. The renter should not have to spend time gaining access to unit/pool, calling to get air in deflated rental bike tires or getting empty propane tanks re-filled in-time for dinner... I always try to leave accurate reviews on VRBO, and most of my ratings and experiences have been outstanding. For this stay though, I have good and bad to share. With a few owner updates, the quality of this property could increase significantly. Pros: Outstanding rental company managing property. Immediate response to questions & request and great pre-check-in communication. Nice size property with lots of beds and bathrooms. Great TV with DirecTV programming. Internet worked well. Nice, clean communication. Fairly private for proximity of other houses. Bikes come with unit. Huge supply of towels for large families. Full size washer/dryer. Cons: Tubs and shower need to have mildewed caulking replaced. Need new pots and pans and more cooking utensils. Can't use private beach across the street, so have to walk an additional 100 yards up the street to public beach. Den furniture needs to be replaced, comfortable, but old and stained. House uses 1990's technology of a single key stored in a lockbox for access, versus keypad entry. Door locks are tricky, until you learn the secret of how to use them. You have to pull up on the handle before locking or unlocking with the key or deadbolt. These are all fixes the owner should make, so I give no fault to the rental company which was outstanding.

Great property and proximity

The property was just as pictured, very clean and nice. Lots of kitchen amenities. The heated pool was a great option for the kids when the weather wasn't as warm. The beach was a just a short 5 min walk away. Lots of stairs to go down to the beach from the street so heads up if you have a beach wagon or if that's an issue, but the beach was beautiful and we very much enjoyed our stay.
