Quiet cottage neighborhood on east 30A!
Magnolia Cottages is a quiet community with a laid-back neighborhood feel, right in between The Big Chill and Alys Beach. This is NOT the Seacrest Beach community.
Starfish and Coffee is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath home within easy walking distance (2 minutes!) to our neighborhood beach access and communal pool. Hop on the bike path and ride to shops and restaurants in Alys Beach, Seacrest Village, Rosemary Beach, and the Big Chill (formerly The Hub).
The house features cozy screened-in porches on both the first and second floors, a private master suite, and hardwood floors throughout. It’s an open concept living space with two guest bedrooms on the first floor and the master suite upstairs. It's perfect for a family, plus grandparents or friends for the kids.
The first guest bedroom (downstairs) has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second guest bedroom (downstairs) has a full-over-full bunk bed with twin trundle and a full bathroom (walk-in shower) just across the hall.
Walk upstairs to the master bedroom to enjoy a good book or a glass of wine in your own private sanctuary. The master suite features a king bed, large closet, screened-in porch with hammock chair, flat screen TV, desk with a comfortable home-office chair, and a spacious bathroom with double vanity and walk-in shower.
We keep 4 bikes at the house so our guests can take full advantage of the bike path!
PLEASE NOTE:
*This is our second home, and we take great care of it. We expect our guests to treat the house with respect and communicate with us promptly regarding any damage or accidents. No parties, smoking, street parking, or pets. MAX OCCUPANCY: 6 adults OR 4 adults and 4 kids; 2 cars.
*We require a selfie with ID after booking. If you don't send this within 24 hours, we will cancel the booking.
*We spend a lot of time in the area and are happy to give you recommendations. We've highlighted all our favorite local spots in your welcome packet at the house and can help you make arrangements for special activities like a beach bonfire or sailing cruise.
*We do not use a property management company! All communication will be either directly with us or with our "boots on the ground" guy to help guests with any immediate needs while they are at the house.

We loved the location of this house. Short Walk to the beach & short bike ride to shopping, entertainment, and eateries! The house is exactly as pictured! We LOVED our stay here!
We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean. Had everything we needed. The only downside is lots of stairs down to the beach so we couldn’t use our wagon but we loved how close the beach and pool were
We had a great time at Starfish and Coffee. The house is very clean and stocked with everything that might be needed for a great stay. The location is wonderful - close to the beach, a great pool and the shops of Rosemary Beach. I'd do it again with no reservations.

We love coming to the beach, but have found that sometimes during spring break, some of the more populous areas can get crazy with kids on bikes and lots of traffic. We really wanted to stay somewhere that was quiet, but still close to everything and this was the perfect spot. The pool was really nice as well and not too crowded overall. Would rent again.
We have stayed at several properties along 30A. This one is one of our favorites. The house is as advertised and beds were very comfortable. Location to the beach and access is very convenient. They had everything we needed, so all we needed to do was buy groceries. 10 of 10.
We were very happy with our stay here! The house was very cute, well stocked as we did make many meals at the house during the week (even grilled) The beds were comfy and great that each bedroom had their own bathroom. Upstairs bedroom was especially nice! We hung out on the porch a lot and that was a nice space as well. So close to the ocean and pool, and rode bikes that were at the house every day. Close to many other ocean side towns and eateries. Highly recommend this rental, we hope to return!
Perfect quite location in the middle of everything
We loved this home. It was perfect for me, my wife, our two boys (7/10) and my retired parents. The location was in the middle of everything on 30a but it was quite compared to many areas we went. The bikes were a nice addition along with all the beach items needed. The kitchen was well equipment and all the cabinets were labeled. The pool was within 100 yards of the home which was nice for the two double red flag days. It was a quick walk across the street to the beach access walk way. For a family of 4-6 people, it was perfect.
We really enjoyed our stay. The porches were a favorite for all of us. There was plenty of room in the house for our family of 5 to spread out and get space. The walk to the beach is easy. It took a couple days to figure out the best time to get down to beach and the best place to set up, but once we got that figured out it was easy! We didn't really even need the pool, but it was nice that it was close by. We rented a trike for our youngest who isn't steady on a bike yet and using the other 4 bikes provided by the owner we were able to bike to Alys Beach for breakfast which was really fun. The owner was quickly responsive to any questions/concerns and provided fun suggestions for things to do nearby.
We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, quick walk to beach and community pool. All of the beach accesses in the area have steep steps to the beach, but it’s to be expected. The community pool hadn’t had the heater turned on, so Tarlie got that fixed for us so quickly! Excellent communication. Would definitely stay again!

Why they chose this property
We love that this house has that "Old Florida" cottage feel to it and that it is amazingly close to the beach and the bike path. We ride our bikes all over to take part in the action of Rosemary, Alys, and Seaside, but at the end of the day, we want to be tucked back into our cozy little spot on a quieter, calmer stretch of 30A.
