This was perfect for our family. We each had a bed and it was clean. It was so great having a dock by the lake. Great family time!

Nice, but We Did Have Problems

The online pictures of the house gave the impression that the house was newer than it was. The house was downhill from the road and the driveway was covered with snow and ice. There was not even a shovel wide path from the road to the house or a shovel at the top road to make the situation easier. A number of us slipped and fell carrying our food or clothing down to the house. Because of the snow, we had to park our vehicles partway on Marsh Hill Road. We ran out of toilet paper the first night and there was no extra rolls in the house. When using your Wi-Fi my laptop reported security problem with the email that I had to fix at home. Xfinity hotspots tend to hijack computers. We are unhappy that you had Xfinity in this house. We rate this house a 3 on a scale of 0 (poorest) to 10 (best). It is clearly the worst house we had rented from you or anyone in the McHenry area including State Park cabins. We also were not happy about the pricing practices. We do not think it was not worth the price we paid for it.
