The cabin was perfect for our family vacation to Rocky Mountain National Park! It is a great location for both the Wild Basin and Bear Lake Road entrances. We were able to go on awesome hikes and return to the cabin for the afternoon rain. Kids (4,7, and 8) loved to unwind after hikes in the covered carport swings! The cabin was super clean and two king beds were perfect. Additionally host Emily was super friendly and helpful!
We had a fantastic week staying at this cabin. It's comfortable, unique and a great location to avoid the crowds in Estes Park, but still be close to RMNP. We even got to see moose and a bull elk right outside of the cabin multiple times. Our baby especially enjoyed the toy closet in the second bedroom. We would definitely stay here again when we're visiting RMNP.
It was short but the cabin was 3 minutes away from where the wedding was held and had everything we needed- great king beds, atmosphere, swings and fusball and even sunscreen and snacks! We loved our stay and hope to return for a longer stay in the future! Thanks!
The cabin was perfect for our family of six! The beds were so comfortable, and there was plenty of room in the cabin while still having a cozy feel. The location was perfect allowing us to easily get to all our adventures in Rocky Mountain National Park at multiple entrances. Our children really enjoyed the kid corner and activities when winding down from exploring and hiking. And the covered carport area that is all set-up was perfect for relaxing in during pop up showers. The view of Mount Meeker was spectacular. The cabin is also close to the spring in Allenspark that we love. We hope to stay here again on one of our next trips.
The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Beds were amazing! The location was also excellent and had great views. Easy check in. We would definitely stay here again!
Quaint little cabin about 12 miles outside of Estes Park. Lots of hummingbirds and chipmunks! The place was clean, bedsheets were phenomenal, beds were very spacious and comfortable. The cabin also has many gadgets that brought memories of years gone by. It lives more spacious than square footage implies. The property also includes a covered porch area, that we used a lot. Very nice outdoor space with comfy chairs, gas grill, and soft nighttime lighting. Highly recommend!
This mountain cabin exceeds expectations with its charm and comfort — and with the owner’s hospitality and attention to detail.
We found the more remote location a plus (beyond the bustle of Estes Park). Immaculately clean, with luxurious bedding and a perfect mixture of current and period furnishings. It’s a fantastic mountain getaway ... the perfect opportunity to “unplug” while sipping wine or coffee by the fire.
This log cabin is a true rustic gem . So homely with everything that you could wish for to make it a comfortable stay . Comfy beds , extremely well stocked kitchen ( utensils , crockery etc AND store cupboard extras , books , board games , a real home from home !
Outside has a covered log built car port sheltering a great patio with gas BBQ , picnic table , rocking chairs and hammock . Mule deer and Jack Rabbits wandered the area as we cooked out ! Humming birds too .
Perfect location for some very scenic hiking trails . Our favourite was Ouzel Falls which followed a fast flowing riverside path past Cascade Falls and Copeland falls along the way . Recommend taking the Old Fall Trail Road to The Alpine Centre in Rocky Mountain National Park ( if you’ve a good head for heights !) it’s a very scenic single track / one way road up to the mountain tops . Stunning views at the top . Marmot Trail there was full of the cute namesake critters and herd of elk grazing .
If you love nature and the great outdoors coupled with a peaceful homely cabin to stay and cook family meals in , then this is the perfect place - if you want crowds and overpriced restaurants then Estes Park is about 30 minute drive away ! We are so glad we chose Quinellas Cabin instead . Thank you for letting us rent it Emily !
What a fun and comfortable cabin to fave a couple days with the grandkids. This cabin was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean and welcoming. The host was so easy to get in touch with. We had a very enjoyable time at a fun company cabin.

Family Memories Abound
We had the privilege of staying at Quinnella's cabin after a big snow in mid March. Our family of 5 found the cabin very charming and there were many small details about the cabin that made our stay memorable. We made great use of the fireplace (with wood provided by Emily!) and found it a great place to feel very cozy and warm after our days out exploring. Our boys loved the board games and we and we found the cabin bedrooms very comfortable and roomy. Emily was very responsive to our needs and ensured a couple of requests we had were satisfied quickly. While it's a little further outside Estes Park and RMNP, the views on the drive are spectacular.

About the host

My husband and I are both Colorado natives who have a passion for this beautiful state! We are both "plant nerds" and love to see what species we can find on our hikes through RMNP. We have three kids, a handsome dog, and a grumpy cat.
Why they chose this property
We searched and searched for just the right Colorado cabin for our family and friends and well, we think we found it. Step back into the kitschy-ness of the 1950's with all the benefits of modern bedding, heating and year round running water. We love the sweet moss rock fireplace, the vintage reading material, and the authentic log cabin. We also love watching the moose, elk, chipmunks, hummingbirds and wild turkeys right outside our door!
What makes this property unique
Just a short drive to the hustle of Estes Park, an even shorter drive to quaint Allenspark, and an even shorter distance to lots and lots of trails, we knew this cabin was located just where we wanted to be. We love the views of Mount Meeker and the sweet benches out front; perfect for morning coffee or afternoon beverages.
