About this property

Rathbun Lake, Antler Acres Rental - 2 bedroom, 2 bath

We are now renting our paradise/summer getaway!! A perfect location and setup for your family!! Located in Antler Acres just 3 miles from the Honey Creek State Park boat ramp. Our newer modern mobile home is situated on a peaceful corner lot, with a very nice view. Great neighborhood setting, with 2 lots worth of yard space for games and campfires. We have lots of room for parking, including your boat or jet skis.

Nice large front deck overlooking a great view of our neighbor's pond and the great outdoors. The pond is not ours and therefore can't be fished in.
The home has an open-concept living room with a full kitchen area. Gas grill on the back deck for cooking outdoors. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and a master bath, the other has a full-size bed with 2nd bathroom close by. The bedrooms are located on each end of the rental.

Our rental sleeps 4 people comfortably and there is a futon in the living room that folds out and will sleep, 2 guests.

You will find great roads to safely take those nice refreshing walks and just an all-around great neighborhood.

*Keyless entry on the front sliding glass door and back door.

* No Parties or large gatherings on our property

* No motor homes or campers are allowed on our property

* Out of respect for our neighbors, No fireworks are allowed on our property at any time.

*WE DO NOT OWN THE POND AND THEREFORE NO FISHING IS ALLOWED

*No smoking in our rental.

*We do have 2 outside outlets for those that need to charge their trolly motors.
We do have extension cords available so let us know if you are going to need one.

*A fish cleaning station is also available at our rental. Please let us know if you would like to use it.

*Please make sure all fish or game carcasses are taken off the property when you leave. Please do not clean them in the rental.

*The garage is for our own personal use.

John is excellent and if you love to fish, John will help you find them.

*Walking and bike trails are less than 5 minutes away.

Can’t say enough great things about Brad and Bernie as hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodations combined with regular check-ins and communication - they made us feel like family. This is a GREAT option if you are visiting the Rathbun area to hunt, fish, or just enjoy some of Iowa’s finest outdoors and wilderness areas. 5 stars, highly recommend! Before you book a property you need to read the house rules that are listed. Everything was clearly stated before you even booked our property. You booked our property knowing what the property entailed. We love all pets and have always had one or 2 at the same time. Alot of people are allergic to pets so we have decided it was best to not allow them. You should have followed the house rules and not have had more people staying at our property than what is allowed. Our rental sleeps 6 people comfortably not the 7 people you had in there. You did not even stay at our property.

Our property is on a corner lot with a great view and is very peaceful. We only have neighbors on the east side of us. Plenty of parking and lots of lawn area to use. Sit on the front deck and enjoy the breeze coming off the lake!
