About the host
Hosted by Roger Morris Schmitt
I was born and went to school in Waterloo IA. After graduation in 1966 I enlisted in the Marines and spent 13 months in Vietnam. I had started bowhunting in 1964 and took my first deer in 1965. After returning from the Marines my bowhunting expanded to bear, elk, antelope, mule deer and caribou. In 1980 I opened my own archery shop and then in 2000 I went to work for Scheels in Cedar Falls running there archery and then there gun shops. Retired in 2018 and moved south to our hunting land.
