Elvira was a pleasure to connect with and rent from. The house is beautiful and the property is stunning! Private beach and big backyard make it a dream come true. Only gave 4 stars out of 5 on cleanliness because we did have a lot of bugs (ants) in the house - we relocated the ones we could. I would definitely stay at Elvira’s again. Wonderful experience!

Thanks for letting me know about this situation Nicole. Nobody had a problem before and the pest control people come regularly to treat the house. I will call the contractor right away. I know you only stayed for a short time and I am sure you must have taken the right precautions about not leaving food out. We are surrounded by woods. So glad everything else worked out and please come back.

Hamptons retreat
A lovely, very private retreat in an ideal location near East Hampton - close enough to the town center, but just far enough to avoid the crowds in high season. The house is perfect for a group - 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a dedicated full bath, all recently updated. Fully equipped kitchen and attached, large deck for lazy afternoons and outdoor meals. The property overlooks Three Mile Harbor. The owner was very welcoming and responsive and made the arrival and departure very easy. We are looking forward to a return!!!

Into the woods
Going down the driveway was a little scary the first time and don’t check in after dark. Once we were all adjusted to our environment everything was lovely. It’s a sweet house, minimalistic but it has what it needs. Bring I pads. It’s an Apple TV. It’s perfect for a small family or group of 3 or 4. I would rent it again.
This is a lovely, wonderfully renovated home with plenty of space , bedrooms and bathrooms for family of five. Beautiful property with gorgeous sunsets and short walk down to the water. We have spent many summers in the Hamptons so it was nice to get to know the Springs area better - plenty of restaurants and places to pick up other food. Only big issue (not related to the house) is beach parking. If you don’t have a town resident permit , it limits everything. All the local Springs beaches require a town permit. Easthampton Main requires you to use the mobile parking app after 1 pm Mon - Thursday only and it costs $50 dollars for the afternoon! Other option is to be dropped off or park in town ( 3 hour limit - again on the parking app) and take the free shuttle to the beach. Sagg-Main still allows daily parking at $30 day Mon- Friday.( no app needed). Other issue to be aware of is that most activities , museums etc ( including Jackson Pollack home) require prior reservation as consequence of covid. Overall we had no issues making reservations at restaurants. Bostwicks was nice the first night since they take first come, first served and easily sat 5 of us at 6 pm. Sag Harbor also requires use of the parking app for town.
We had an all around great experience! The owner was super responsive to any questions and the property was gorgeous! Even better than in the pictures.
The house was in the perfect location and very relaxing! We enjoyed a nice weekend. The house was perfect for 6 people to spend time together both inside and outside!
After over a year of not seeing some family and not traveling, we decided to meet up at this beautiful getaway. We were also meeting to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a vow renewal! The location is perfect - close to many of the main attractions in the Hamptons. It sits back from the road quite a bit so you get a great sense of privacy and quiet. The harbor is adjacent to the property and the views are awesome. It rained during our vow renewal, but the owner’s back porch still made for a great option. I would definitely recommend this house! Communication with the owner was excellent - she genuinely seemed to care about why we were coming and tried to help make our time really special. That doesn’t always happen, so it was particularly appreciated!

Thanks so much Lisa. I truly enjoyed having you at my place.
We had a great time. The house was perfect and the private beach was really nice for swimming or just setting down chairs near the water. The sunsets over the harbor were also amazing. Elvira was very helpful with any questions we had while we there as well. Highly recommend this place.

So nice to have you stay at my angle of paradise! You are the perfect guests and please come back.
Thank you
I absolutely loved my stay at this wonderful property :-) I celebrated my 60th birthday with my girlfriends and I had a very relaxing time. We enjoyed our time at the beach , I would recommend bringing chairs to sit on as it is rocky . Having the beach access on the property was perfect , we enjoyed the amazing sunsets, just beautiful ! The kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher, very convenient. Having 3 bathrooms with 6 ladies was perfect , never a wait :-) The bedrooms are big and clean , plenty of room. We also walked to the Bistro next door and had dinner on Saturday night , very convenient and the food was delicious. Elvira was very accommodating and answered all my questions very quickly and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area . I can’t wait to come back ! Thank you , Sue N
Stayed here with a few friends for Memorial Day - first time in Hamptons. The house has been remodeled and is in good condition (no central A/C or ceiling fans, which we didn't need but could be good later in the summer). Beds are comfortable and there is sufficient seating for 4 to 6 people. Elvira is very nice and gave some good recommendations for things to do nearby. I would say the property is quite remote and not "walkable" to much aside from a marina and bistro next door. But with a car, it's a great location - only a couple of miles from the East Hampton main street. Very quiet and relaxing. Great view of water, although the shore is rocky and the access is quite steep. The hot water pressure is very low but a cool shower is fine in the summer months. Kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, glassware, plates, and pots and pans. There were a couple of deer on the property which is wooded and private that we enjoyed watching. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this property.

When Leanne stayed there the temperature was in the 60s. No need for fans. Every room has window air conditioning and a portable air conditioning in the main kitchen and lounge adequate for 450 sq ft. The house is extremely well ventilated, extremely private with a spectacular view of the bay and magnificent sunsets. Unfortunately Leanne and friends did not have a car. Even if the property is only 7 minutes from East Hampton town center one car is needed to stay in my 2 acre plus property.

I enjoy traveling and I spend several weeks a year in Europe. I am active and enjoy walking, running and playing tennis. I love reading, playing chess, gardening. I enjoy spending time in my angle of paradise and exploring the beauty of East Hampton. My favorite time of the evening at my place is watching the sunset, the boats and the swans by my private beach on the bluff, with a glass of wine!
Why they chose this property
This property is very special to me. My husband grew up in this house. I had the house fully renovated in 2018 with brand new furniture. The house is on the Harbor with spectacular view of the water. The sunsets are my favorite. It is secluded and the only visitors are deer!
What makes this property unique
Breathtaking and unobstructed view of Gardiner Bay. Historical House/modern conveniences with special touches. Very private, wooded and yet minutes to the center of East Hampton. Graced by chirping birds and undisturbed deer among the trees! Plenty of parking as the house is on over two acres. The renovation was tastefully done leaving some period wood and incorporating with the renovation with a special taste of the past.
