Perfect Stay for a Family

The house is the perfect place for a young family. It was impeccably clean and comfortable. Jared was extremely responsive. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay on shelter island!

Weekend stay

Nice house, freshly remodeled with modern appliances and fixtures and well decorated. Quiet neighborhood in a convenient location. Excellent communication from the owner.

A great quick family getaway from NYC

We had a great weekend at The Heights — the house is comfortable, with a great back yard. We spent mornings on the deck. It's a few minutes drive to some very good restaurants, and a 5-minute walk to ice cream or the beach. We'd be very happy to stay there again.

Great Shelter Island Getaway

The house was delightful and well maintained. It has a warm, light airy feeling. The kitchen was very well equipped, and Jared, the host, was very responsive. The house was well located on the island. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this property

Fantastic house

This is a fanstastic house, beautifully decorated, and fully outfitted with everything you need. The owner is great--he checked in on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. I have rented many VRBO homes, and this one is the best.

Shelter Island Heights Gem

This lovely, immaculate home was very comfortable and was so well equipped. It was near our daughter's vacation home and we enjoyed entertaining our grandchildren as much as they loved being with us! Close to everything.

Week on Shelter Island!!

We highly reccommed this rental. The house was clean, fresh and up to date. We enjoyed nights on the deck grilling. Close to great resturants, ice cream and morning coffee spots. The house is open and spacious. Making it very comportable for our family. We cant wait to come back to the island and stay again.

Such a Pleasure

The house is very welcoming. Booking and arrival process was very smooth and the owner was very responsive to questions. The Kitchen is very equipped with all needed to make a meal and more. We enjoyed the deck listening to the song birds every morning and evening while watching the bunnies chop on the grass. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you for sharing your home.

Kick Back and Unwind—an understatement. Just Wow!

Thanks all go to Jared who was kind enough to open his home to us and our two puppers. The property is near to everything and conveniently located. The home is immaculate and far exceeded the description in the listing. Great communication with Jared who provided the perfect amount of interaction and information for our visit. This property is just excellent and I hope Jared will be kind enough to host us again. We had a lovely time during our five night stay—in hindsight 5 nights was too short! Just a fantastic time was had by all.

Lovely Stay in Shelter Island

Everything about this home was top notch. Jake's home is immaculately clean and comfortable --- the furniture and beds were super comfy, kitchen was equipped with everything you need and more which made for fun cooking while being together with my family in the open concept kitchen/living room/dining. All the appliances were brand new and the kitchen flow was ideal for meal prep and clean up. We enjoyed seeing deer, turkeys, rabbits and birds outside while grilling and chilling on the back deck. There's even a fire pit for smores or just hanging out looking at the stars. Jake was quick with communication and left us great instructions for the house, as well as some nice touches to welcome my family. The house is situated in a great location for walks to the beach, just a 5 min walk to great bagels and ice cream. thank you Jake for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back to visit the lovely Shelter Island!

Excellent stay!

Great house on Shelter Island! We were 4 adults and 2 children under 3 years old and it was the perfect size for us. The property was very well equipped with everything we would need, and also very clean. We loved the living room/dining area and kitchen which is all open-plan and a great place for everyone to hang out. Jared was a wonderful host, super communicative & helpful throughout!
