Wonderful spacious converted carriage house in mint condition overlooking 1/2 acre of secluded park like property. Very clean and bright. The first floor features living room, kitchen, dining room and half bath. The spacious master bedroom with bath (shower and bathtub) is on the second floor. The second floor also features 2 more large bedrooms with shared full bath. The third floor bedroom is an open space with its own full bath. Hardwood floor throughout the house. Sun filled as the house has plenty of windows and 7 French doors. Part of the former Mansion estate, the Carriage House was completely remodeled while preserving the original brickwork, beams, fireplace and the distinctive style of its estate days that will make you feel like stepping back into the old world charm. Undeniably a unique house! Walking distance to train. Close to stores, restaurants, beach, tennis courts, and golf courses. Also close to the Glen Cove Mansion. You will love The Gold Coast of Long Island - the original playground of rich and famous! Beautiful winding roads, breathing views of Long Island Sound, charming towns and villages.. Glen Cove and the surrounding areas of Sea Cliff, Locust Valley, Bayville and Oyster Bay have a lot to offer. It is only 30 miles from NYC, accessible by train (which is walking distance from the house) or car under 1 hour. Ideal for family vacations or retreat, even for a single traveler searching solitude as the house has an amazing energy! Large enough to comfortably host group gatherings up to 8 people.
What makes this property unique
Very quiet and private with park-like backyard, yet very close to the town! In a few minutes you can be sipping coffee at our local Starbucks or walking on the pier at our beach! Did I mention walking distance to the train? Yes, it is so close to everything!
