Elegant Villa Near University of Oregon and Matthew Knight Arena

There's a video of the house on this website which will give prospective guests a good idea of the layout. This lovely home, built in 1926 and extensively updated, sits overlooking the University of Oregon. Fairmount Blvd.,one of the most prestigious streets in Eugene, is a short walk from the University and the Matthew Knight Arena. (Great for events including the U of O woman's and men's basketball!)

The fully equipped kitchen had granite counters, two drop-in gas cooktops, two refrigerators, dishwasher, garbage disposal and a lovely antique dining table that seats twelve.

The balcony/covered deck with gas barbecue and outside dining table has a magnificent view that makes it a perfect place to cook and entertain friends.

All rooms are fully furnished with king, queen or standard double beds. Linens, towels, paper products and all household items provided.

The owner's have a separate space below the house used as their office and storage for supplies for the house.

We are delighted to welcome family gatherings at our home. However we do not permit weddings.

Very nice, it was decorated for Christmas and there was a box of chocolates left for us. Make sure you're in shape as there are stairs.

Great communication with the owner, very responsive and kind. It accommodated our family of over 20 people. Kitchen small but stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and small appliances. Lots of stairs so be prepared. House is over 100 years old with lots of character. This is our second stay. The owner had it decorated for Christmas.

Great for a big group

This was perfect for our group of friends who were in town to run the Eugene Marathon. Spacious, quiet, private, well stocked, and very close to Hayward Field and nice places to eat. Really enjoyed the stay.

This is an ideal property for a large group within walking distance of campus and Prince Pucklers. :-) We had three generations all staying together for a wedding in Eugene. It is very well-equipped for cooking and comfortably hosting a large group. Communication was great, although we had everything we needed without having to reach out. We felt welcome, and appreciated that having a couple of others join us here and there for a meal was not discouraged. Notably, this is a multi-level home with stairs at both entry points. Would not be well-suited for individuals with mobility issues. We will definitely stay again if we are back in town with our extended family.

Perfect home away from home

Because it was a wonderful house. Built in 1926 and extensively updated it was in bad condition and need lots of TLC and dough ray mi!! Fun to fix up and rewarding to see it shine again.
