Friendly, smiling faces wishing you a nice day. Walking through one of the 22 parks located within downtown Savannah and admiring a statue dating back to the 1700 s. Parking was free and easy, directly across the street from the property. We walked everywhere we went, to shops, restaurants and River St which was a mile or so away. I gave the property 4/5 stars for cleanliness, because there was a small issue with fruit flies and I happened to step on a couple of sunflower seeds that were left on the floor. Everything else was very clean. If you are larger than average, you might have an issue with the shower as it is very small and the bed might be snug for 2 larger people to share. My husband and I would definitely stay there again next time we visit Savannah by ourselves. It’s a very “cute” little place. Holly the hostess, was excellent at communicating with us.

The host was lovely very responsive. The place was very sweet. You have to be comfortable going up a winding staircase which we didn’t mind. The bed is also up high so you have to get up a little stool, which was also fine and Parking was great as was the location, I would definitely go back

My husband, Ron, and I are living our dream in the beautiful and charming city of Savannah, GA. We moved here from NC in 2017 after purchasing this historic property and guest house, which had always been a dream of mine, and to create a short term vacation rental. After a year and a half of lots of tender love and care, sweat and tears, we created this charming and cozy home and guest quarters, full of antiques that I have collected for over 30 years. We are full time residents of Savannah and proud parents of two rescue terriers, Nigel & QBee, who love walks and picnics in Forsyth Park.

Why they chose this property

The perfect spot for a couple with or without a pup! The small, totally private courtyard is perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Free street parking is available and a luxury in Historic Savannah. A gas grill is available upon request. Comfortable seating for 2 to watch a movie downstairs or in the cozy, queen size bed in the upstairs loft/bathroom with shower and small closet space. Windows surround the bed, allowing ample daylight for reading or looking out into the courtyard. Plush sheets and towels are provided. Coffee and tea provided.

Very quiet and residential street, within walking distance to downtown. Private courtyard. Spiral staircase leads to loft with queen bed and bathroom. Kitchen with full size stove/oven, refrigerator and all of the amenities needed to create a meal at home!
