Home was perfect for our family of 5. It was clean , host was very reaponsive, and the location was great for the beach and exploring the gulf , st. Pete, and tampa area. Would stay again.
It was a real pleasure to relax at Indian Rocks beach. The beach is a short walk away. Spring training baseball action was also a short drive away. The cottage had everything we needed!
I can’t say enough good things about the place and host. The house came with more than just essentials which made setting up a breeze. We had 2 adults and 4 kids - and still plenty of room. The queen mattress is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. I highly recommend!
This place was perfect for 3 adults and was a great price! The beach is about a 5 minute (easy) walk from the unit. However, this walk could be difficult with babies/toddlers depending on how much beach gear you’re bringing (I’d suggest getting a wagon or driving to the beach access across the street to load/unload). The unit had everything one would need, including nice quality beach towels and a washer/dryer. The owner, Eric, was great! He responded promptly and was very gracious. Would stay here again!
This property is exactly what we were wanting. It's located within a short walk to the beach, the bay, several great restaurants, and a nature trail & dog park.
It was well equipped with all our kitchen needs, extremely clean, and comfy beds & living room furniture.
Eric, the property owner, is excellent! He's easy to communicate with and extremely helpful.
We will definitely be staying here again!
This was the perfect place for our mini beach getaway. It was clean, comfortable and super close to the beach. We had a problem with the streaming and the owner was super quick to respond. Highly recommend this property.
Overall this was a good stay and I would stay here again. Just small things, the lockbox for the key is not easy to open and you only get one key, there wasn’t any dish soap, the towels and wash cloths had hairs stuck to them, there were dirt marks on the floor when we arrived, the washer/dryer is a shared unit in the back of the housing unit (so we were afraid to leave our laundry there and had to wait around for it to be done), and in the room with multiple beds there were kids underwear and socks stuffed under the blanket (I wasn’t staying in that room and told my friend who found them that hopefully that was just from a kid who stuffed them into an unused bed🤷🏻♀️). The house itself is nice and in a good area, the owner seemed very nice, and there are provided beach towels, chairs, a cooler, etc which was very much appreciated. We didn’t complain about any of our issues while we were there as they were not huge issues nor was there anything that could have been done about them at the time, just some things that need to be looked over more carefully in between guests. Overall our stay was good and I would recommend this rental.
Eric, overall our stay was great. I will say the floors could have been cleaner and to not have a washer to use was quite an inconvenience. We had to spend several hours at the coin laundry along with the cost. That did take away from time at the beach. But overall the rest was great.
This was our second stay at this property. The sink in the Bathroom had almost no water pressure and the drain was clogged. There was a knocking noise in the pipes every morning around 5 am that woke us up. When I notified Eric he said he was aware of the problem but made no attempt to get it fixed. We were there 3 weeks so that’s a long time to put up with the problems we experienced.
This property is in a great location. Not on the beach, but a very short walk to the beach. When we first arrived on Christmas Eve I was in a bit of a panic as there was not adequate kitchen supplies to cook with or not enough to serve a meal with. We worked with the homeowner (who responded right away) to attempt to resolve this problem. There simply isn't enough glassware or silverware without having to wash dishes all the time. But if you plan on eating out this shouldn't be an issue. For my family we would have at least one meal at the house. There was also some cleaning areas that were overlooked, but for the most part it was clean. The neighbors were very nice and the people in the neighborhood were very friendly.
We stayed here while our house went on the market this week. Great location, clean and communication with owner was good. He allowed us to check in early and we greatly appreciated it.
We moved here from Ohio way back in 1998 to get away from the cold weather and gray skies. And we've been hosting vacation rentals since about 2002. Its fun and we get to meet so many nice people.
Why they chose this property
We wanted a beach neighborhood on one of the islands that was residential and not built up like Clearwater Beach. But close enough to get there on the trolley when we got the urge to go. We've owned and used this place since 1998 and love the location.
What makes this property unique
Our place was built in 1954 and still has that vintage Florida feel, but with all the updates we need today. We've left some of the original item to keep the memory alive.
