Sound View, located at 145 Old Wharf Road, Dennis Port, is a classic Cape Cod beach house- a light, bright and airy two-unit ocean front vacation home.

With stunning views of Nantucket Sound and 100 feet of private beach, Sound View has two, 3-bedroom, 1,200 sf units, each accommodating six. Each unit has heat and air conditioning, with wireless high speed internet, washer and dryer. They are decorated in a charming nautical style, with grey/white/navy colors, beadboard walls, new white kitchens with breakfast bars, new beds, and upholstered furniture. Also, a wall of windows and sliders provides stunning views of the beach and ever-changing Cape skyline.

Step off your deck onto a child friendly beach with shallow, calm and warm ocean water only 50 feet away. Enjoy panoramic vistas of both the sunrise and sunset on one of your two decks overlooking the beach. Located on a vibrant seasonal street that hosts runners, bikers, dog walkers, and parents and grandparents pushing babies in strollers.

Unit Two – second floor unit features 3 bedrooms (2 twins, 1 queen, 1 king) – open floor plan with soaring ceilings, open floor plan with kitchen/breakfast bar, dining area, living area. Two full baths (one shower only). Two decks that overlook the beach and ocean. Access the unit from outside staircase in the front of the house. Two parking spaces. Shared Enclosed Outdoor shower.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just like last year it was a wonderful week on the vape thanks to this great beach front property. The space was bright and open and the a/c came in handy throughout the entire week. There are a few minor issues that should be addressed prior to next season. The grills are rusting through on the bottoms and need to be replaced. Some of the beach furniture is also rusted through and one lounger is fully broken. The laminate on the kitchen cabinets is starting to come off the doors, the towel holder in the bathroom comes off easily. There are also a few rusted spots on the vent grates in the bathroom that are a little unsightly as well as the intake grate in the entry way. All minor thing and we can't wait to come back next year.

Hi Courtney! Thank you so much for your feedback. Those grills were terrible! Next time, give us a call! We have an emergency stock of items (including grills) that we could have brought over and made your stay more comfortable. They were replaced for the 2024 season. We also disposed of the broken beach furniture, and replaced it with new items. The other small items were addressed for the 2024 season. We hope to see you again soon!
