Our party of three couples enjoyed the location of Snowline and the updated cabin. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook with and loved having the Keurig! Besides the upstairs shower not having hot water, everything was perfect!

Hi Michelle: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #49! We are delighted to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and that you found the cabin to be a "great location and property". Unfortunately, while we did not hear from you during your 3-night stay, (the cabin has both a landline and wifi connectivity) we are just a quick phone call away and happy to assist our Guests whenever the needs arises. After your departure, we checked the water in the top floor bathroom, but were unable to replicate the problem that you experienced. Perhaps there were too many hot water usage devices in use at the same time and the supply was just depleted(?). We hope that you had an opportunity to take advantage of the covered outdoor hot tub and the indoor fireplace during your visit. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It is truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy Trails, Dan
We booked this property last minute hoping for a white Christmas. While it didn't snow, there was plenty of snow on the ground and the property did not disappoint for the getaway we wanted. There are other cabins close by, but it didn't really feel like they were on top of you or where your privacy was compromised. The outside grounds were well cared for and the snowshovel and de-icer outside was a nice touch. Inside the cabin, the pictures do a pretty good job of showing what it's like. The newly redone kitchen and lower level were well done. Nearly all appliances and cookware is included for most standard cooking and meals. I noticed on the photos that a Keurig coffee machine was on the counter so we brought some pods hoping that was the case. It was, but I would suggest including it in the listing so people know it's there. We made a nice piece of prime-rib for the holiday so we really pushed the newer oven to it's limits. My only feedback is it takes a long time to pre-heat and to heat to higher temperatures, but once there I found it pretty accurate. The broiler is a little weird and is under the oven which I was not used to. Maybe including the owners manual for the oven in the utility drawer would be helpful. The water was quick to heat up and was hot at the kitchen sink. Like another reviewer, we did notice the upstairs shower never got totally hot and was more on the luke warm or cool side. We didn't call or say anything because only one of us used that shower but it wasn't that big of a deal since there is a shower downstairs. There were plenty of towels, fresh linens and overall the cabin felt very clean when we arrived. There is even a nice dog bed under the stairs that our dog made good use of. The TV downstairs was perfect for the room and while it does not have broadcast TV, we accessed everything we needed with the Roku that is connected (a very nice amenity).
It would have been nice to have something similar on the upstairs TV's so we could have watched while relaxing in bed.
There were plenty of good movies available to choose from though. The jacuzzi was clean and plenty big enough for the four of us. If it had snowed, the cover over the jacuzzi would have been perfect. We will be looking to book this cabin again in the future as it worked out well for us overall.

Hi Barb: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #49 and for the other cabins in which your group stayed. We are absolutely delighted to hear that the cabins worked out well for your needs. Moreover, I would like to send our kudos for the work that your group performed on behalf of the flooding victims in the Sumas area. Your tireless work touches us all, and certainly comes at a time when it is needed most. It is folks like yourselves that restore my faith in humanity. We hope to able to see you again under more pleasant circumstances...when you can just come up to relax and take in some of the outstanding skiing/snowboarding and hiking/whitewater rafting that our area has to offer. Until then, Happy Trails :) Dan

Hi Michael:
Thank you for the 4-star review for family Cabin #49! We are delighted to hear that for had an enjoyable stay, and found it to be a "great cabin". We hope that you have an opportunity to take advantage of the hot tub and the fireplace while you were there. We apologize for the problem that you experienced with the 2nd floor shower. While we did not hear from you at any time during your 4-night stay, (the cabin has both a land line and wifi connectivity) we have inspected the shower, but were unable to replicate the problem that you experienced. Perhaps it was a matter of too much hot water usage at the same time (e.g. dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen sink, other bathroom fixtures, back-to-back usage, etc.) but we will continue to keep an eye on it. Many thanks for the neat and tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was truly a pleasure hosting you. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and we look forward to seeing you again during your next visit to the Mt. Baker area :) Happy trails, Dan
