We would love to welcome you to your next beach vacation in fun, friendly North Myrtle Beach.

McGees Beach Life is a comfy home dating from the 1960s. In a world of generic rentals and high rise condos, be the master of your own small piece of paradise for a week. Enjoy an 8 minute walk to the beautiful Atlantic ocean and have your own private
in -ground pool (unheated) in the backyard.

This cozy home in a quiet beach neighborhood features 4 bedrooms (king, king, 2 twins, 3 twins), a pullout couch, and 4 baths.

Sleeps 9-11 total. Full kitchen. Linens and bath towels are supplied with on site laundry facilities available for your use. 50 inch TV with cable and high speed internet. Basic gas grill available.

Take an 8 minute walk to the beach or rent a golf cart to drive around the neighborhood or to the beach. Provide your own beach equipment as desired or use our floats and chairs. The beach is beautiful for walking, paddling in the waves or sunbathing and also features water sports including banana boat rides, kayaking, and parasailing.

The busy tourist attractions of Myrtle Beach are less than a half-hour drive away and great for a visit. We think you ll prefer the quieter pace of North Myrtle Beach for the center of your relaxing beach vacation and McGees Beach Life is an ideal place to experience the area. Our neighborhood is quiet, so make sure this is a good match for your plans.

This house was perfect for our stay. It's close to so many fun places including restaurants, sweet shops, the ocean etc. The neighborhood is very quiet at the end of the day. The pool was great to relax in. The house was clean and tidy. All outlets that we used worked (not the case at all places we've rented). The multiple bathrooms and showers were nice so we had plenty of space. Everything was labeled our had instructions (wi-fi, tv, outside lights).The owners were great to work with. They sent info promptly. They answered questions quickly. They made things so easy for us to enjoy our stay.

Great home, super clean, tons of room

This home was amazing. It was so clean, it felt like we were the first people to stay there. There was so much room and the pool was really nice.I will add that the smaller room with two twin beds is “landlocked” between two rooms, so occupants of that “2-twin bed” room can’t get out without walking through someone else’s room. So just be aware that during the stay, you will have to have people passing through your room for them to be able to get to the rest of the house. It wasn’t a big deal for us because we didn’t use one of the rooms. It’s just helpful to know about if you are traveling with multiple couples. But the house was amazing and we will definitely book it again.

Hidden gem at plain site!!!

We were very pleased with this house. The pool was definitely a treasure. Very nice and relaxing environment. Very clean and comfy for the whole family and we had every utensils we needed as if we were home. The beach was only a couple minutes away with the golf cart. Amenities are not far away either. Something to consider is the odd house floor plan. It was not a bad thing, just takes some getting used to. The rooms are big and comfortable and great if you have little kids to keep them close by. The second master room shares a bathroom with the room with the 2 full beds, they just need to make sure the close the bathroom door behind them so no one runs into someone else by surprise. The fourth room with the 3 full beds have their own bathroom which was really nice. Kitchen and living room were very spacious as well. We love this place! Myra, the owner, was very prompt to respond to any inquiries we had before and during our stay. This may just become our new destination vacation rental in Myrtle Beach.

House is a bit older, and strange layout, but it was very clean. We loved the pool! Location is good. 8 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the beach. Many Restaurants and stores nearby. House had everything our group of 10 needed. When contacted, owner responded quickly. We would stay there again.

Great vacation for a family

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently near stores, miniature golf course and the ocean. The private pool is right outside the back door or can be accessed by the side door also - which is great! It has lots of rooms and bathrooms which are close to one another in a unique layout but works out just fine for a family! Even though the rooms are close, they are all on one level and noise doesn’t seem to carry throughout the house. The property owner was very courteous and quick to answer any questions! Great for a family!

Girls trip

We had a great time staying here. The were only a few things that just took us by surprise. The dishwasher is portable so we didn't use it at all. The showers are small and the step up to one is very high with nothing to hold onto when climbing in. Then people need to be prepared for walking through two bedrooms and a bathroom to get to the forth bedroom. Only one bedroom has complete privacy. The house was the perfect size for our group and within a short driving distance to where we wanted to go.

Absolutely amazing vacation

We absolutely loved EVERYTHING about our stay. The house is so spacious and the decor makes it feel like you're at home. The layout is a little weird but it worked for our family. It was nice that you couldn't hear everything going on in the house while in you're in your bedroom. The kitchen has everything you need and has a great open space (everyone always collects in the kitchen) for eating and having our Monopoly game we played almost night. The pool was basically the cherry on top!! We stayed in the pool all day every day!!! If you stay here you need to take a trip to the Crazy Mason milkshake shop, it is less than 2 miles from the house. Trust me you will not regret it!! Lastly, we loved Myra!!! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! She answered any questions we had quickly & politely. She is friendly, kind & helpful. She is just a super star!! Thank you for making our vacation fun,easy & enjoyable!!! See you next year

Lovely find for a family

The property was spacious with a pool and located in a quiet, nice neighborhood. It had lots of room and bathrooms for a big family. The house may seem to have a unique layout to some but it seems to keep noise from carrying throughout the house and it’s one level. The golf cart was an added bonus. The property owner was very courteous and prompt to answer any questions. It’s a great find!

Beautiful place and convenient.

The house was very clean. And it was close to the beach. The golf cart was helpful to make trips to the beach. Although, we would suggest to make one trip to and back. The bathrooms had clean and fresh towels. The kids had a blast in the pool when it warmed up. The water was cold but still clean. The place was close to good restaurants around. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Great Place with Private Pool near the Beach

Very large one story with a lot of bedrooms. Awesome private pool. Short drive to the beach. Added bonus of a cart that made an awesome way to get to and from the beach. Check-in was easy, and this will be on our list to rent in the future. My family loved this place.
