Condo was clean and stocked. My only suggestion is to add a neon strip on bottom staircase. One guest tripped and fell flat on his face. My other suggestion is to change the balcony furniture.Furniture there is totally uncomfortable. Get a normal table and chairs like the other condo's.Would definately stay here again. This my third stay at Ocean Park Meadows. Each time at a different condo. This was definately number 1.

Great experience!

This unit was perfect for our family. We packed more than we needed because we weren’t sure if it would have these items and it did (beach chairs, umbrellas, a small cooler, children’s toys , a kid step stool for the bathroom, bath toys, boogie boards and so much more… the cords are broken on some sizes of the boogie boards as of June 2025, so pay attention to which ones you grab to bring to the beach). The beach buggy was the perfect size and worked smoothly to cart what we needed on the short walk to the beach. The location of this unit is in the section of condos off of the parking lot next to the pickleball/ tennis courts. The pool is not heated but it is in full sun and was about 70 degrees when we were there. There are also many family games, puzzles and a selection of books in the clubhouse for the complex that we almost missed checking out!

Great Complex

I enjoyed my stay at this location. The complex includes a pool/clubhouse that we used often. The hours were great and access was easy. The beach is a very short walk away and was never crowded. I liked that we were near the beach and not too close to crowds by the pier. The unit was very clean and really well stocked with kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, and pool/beach supplies. One star off for no AC in one of the bedrooms and no blinds on bedroom windows… light had us all up too early in the mornings. I enjoyed my stay and loved that other family members had a unit in the same complex, which made logistics super easy.

Great place to stay!

Very nice condo. Everything you need for a day at the beach provided. There is an outside storage area door marked 76 matching the unit that you will need to open to get the beach chairs, beach wagon, and beach essentials. It is right out side the front door in the hallway to the left. Plenty of beach towels inside the front closet downstairs for the entire family. It was also nice that a case of water was there! Lovely quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The pool is very nice & was my favorite place to relax. The beach is right across the street 7 min walk. The condo has all the essentials for cooking as well. There is a train that you can hear almost every night. I would definitely stay here again.

The unit is nice as is the property. The pool & and clubhouse are great, and the beach is close by. Not to mention it's near the restaurants and amusements.The downfall is the lack of communication. Trying to check in was a slight issue. There are two lockboxes, which was a little confusing. The main issue was the air conditioner. We walked into an oven of a unit. The temperature was near 90⁰. To make matters worse, there's only ONE air conditioner upstairs. We checked in a few mins after 6 and it seems there's NO ONE available, even for answers, until the following morning. The amount of help was minimal at best. No one could give direct answers except for, "there's nothing we can do until tomorrow." How there's not some sort of manager/supervisor for the "off shift" to handle ANY type of incident is beyond me.At one point, I was told that a manager called me which was an absolute lie. Before I spoke with Becca the following day, no one had called me.Even in the middle of the night with all the fans on and AC "on high" it was over 80⁰ on the unit. My family was complaining about it the entire time, and rightfully so. We had even considered leaving due to it being extremely uncomfortable in the unit.Everything else about the unit and property was wonderful. They either need a new management company or they need to revamp their protocols.

June 22-29, 2024 vacation

I will start with the positives. Beautiful condo, very clean, great location. Negatives….The TV did not allow for any local stations or main news networks…such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX AND FOX NEWS. When asked the rental company, which is VACASA, we were told that is not an amenity. Never knew those were amenities. We do not sit in a condo all day long when on vacation but do like to unwind at the end of the day and catch up on what is going on in the country and local area. When checking out today, we were advised to remove the sheets on the beds. No problem except when removing sheets on bed in master bedroom, there were SEVERAL BLOOD stains on the bottom of the fitted sheet. When we got in bed at night we never thought to look at the bottom of the sheets, we just got in. These were previous stains because neither of us went to bed bleeding and the mattress pad has no blood on them so the cleaning people knowingly put those sheets on. Disgusting. I told VACASA and would gladly advise the owner but was told by Vacasa earlier in the week we were not allowed to communicate with the owner. That’s never happened to us before. We are previous owners of a condo that we rented and were always available to speak to renters. It was a good time inspite of the lack of TV service and bloody sheet.

Beach beauty!

A lovely two-level property just a short walk from the beach. Mountain-biked every morning and sat under the umbrella on the beach each day! Then had our choice of great restaurants in Portland. A nice place to come home to each night. Great vacation!

First, the entire complex was spectacular and huge and very quiet with plenty of parking and great amenities (pool & gym)! The condo itself is was perfect for the 3 of us on vacation - could for sure fit the 5. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need.. they even had games for game night ready to go! The new AC units pumped great and the outdoor deck was awesome to have after a beach day. Love that this location wasn’t in the heart of OOB but was such an easy walk to the downtown boardwalk area. There are also so many different beach entrances within a 5 minute walk. Would 100% book again and Vacasa was amazing.

Loved the location and the condo itself! Very clean and was just so relaxed there. We met a few residents and they were all so nice and welcoming! The only concern that came up was the office was not open to register when we arrived, and we went by multiple times. I don't think there was an issue with but we did notify the property manager.

Great for families

By the Sea is a lovely condo that has nearly everything you need for a wonderful family vacation! The location is ideal - close to the beach and walkable to OOB pier while still being relatively quiet, save for the occasional train! And it's an easy drive to Portland or Freeport. We look forward to returning one day!

Quaint and Cozy

We have been staying in this condo complex for the past 7 years and this unit is definitely well taken care of in comparison to others we have stayed in. It’s well equipped with everything need to make you feel at home. All you need to bring is yourself, your family, some food and clothing. The only issue we had was that this unit is quite close to the train tracks. When the train passes at night you can not only hear it but feel it too. Other then that, our stay was perfect! Thank you!

Perfect week!

Condo surpassed expectations! It was so clean and comfortable. A cozy place to hang out and play Uno when it rained and on sunny days the breeze through all the open windows was amazing. We were able to enjoy the grill and deck as well. Easy walk to the beach and so nice to have chairs and umbrella (and cart!) for our use. Pool was cold for these southerners but still a nice place to hang out. The train is close and you can definitely hear it and sometimes feel it... but it didn't bother us. We'd totally come back again!!

Bright, clean condo close to gorgeous beach!

This property was one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in! It felt like home with all of the details required for a very comfortable stay! A short walk to the beach, a lovely little town and tree lined streets! A short drive to Portland makes this a perfect location! We’ve already booked our vacation here for next year!

Family Condo Near the Beach

We had a great time at this sweet condo, decorated in a lovely beach theme. It was a prefect spot for family to visit, share meals, and go to the beach or the pool. Everything you need is here, including beach towels, cooking and dining necessities, and a darling pirate Duplo set that my grandson adored! It's clean and well cared for. Don't hesitate to rent this spot for your Ocean Park vacation!
