Cottage in the heart of the forest of Amboise
We suggest you stay in a former hunting lodge with hounds in the forest of Amboise, where we built a comfortable cottage for up to 4 people.
Located on the road to the fabulous Chateau de Chenonceau, this base is an ideal starting point for excursions Touraine (Amboise, Tours, Chambord, Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Zoo Parc de Beauval, ....)
Lovers 'Loire à Vélo' as well as our biker friends find shelter for their horses.
'Passionate old', we have pleasure to speak but also mechanical peculiarities of our beautiful region (wine tasting cellars, typical village visits, troglodytes, museums, .....)
Your holiday resort consists of:
a large living room with open fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, two nice comfortable rooms, bathroom, separate toilet.
You will find a wifi flat screen, DVD player, but also a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, small household appliances. Courtyard with barbecue.
Outdoor pool on sunny days. The pool is reserved for residents of cottage and guest houses.
Depending on availability, weekly stays or weekend

You can walk in our park and enjoy the table tennis and outdoor pool.
The use of our swimming pool (April to September) remains under the full responsibility of the guests, children must be supervised by their parents.
It will be shared with the tenants of B & Bs.
Access to the pool is restricted to residents only.

Lovely property in beautiful location

Beautiful well equipped property close to Amboise and many Chateaux of the Loire Valley. The heated swimming pool was a bonus too. Caroline and Jean-Louis were great hosts. We would definitely return.

Super stay in the middle of the Amboise forest. The gite is better than the photos (we think). It's bigger, all on the ground floor, lots of space, private garden with sun loungers. The swimming pool was super clean, very well maintained and a perfect temp. Caroline was very welcoming and friendly.

Beautiful, typical French gite located deep within the Amboise forest, surrounded by nature and peaceful calm. 5 mins drive from Amboise, a historical and bustling small town steeped in Loire charm and character. The accommodation was clean and well-equipped. The owners are kind and welcoming; they became our extended family, and we look forward to our return in a few months.

leuke gite midden in bos

Weer ( voor derde keer)een fijne week gehad in de gite. ( leuk huisje, mooi zwembad, erg rustig) Deze is mooi gelegen in het bos, maar Amboise is zo bereikbaar. Mooie omgeving, van alles te doen.

Schöner Urlaub, schöne Gegend

Empfang und Kommunikation waren sehr nett. Wohnung liegt im Wald, Amboise in etwa 5 km Entfernung, gute Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Aktivitäten gab es von den Vermietern. Schön war auch der Pool, den wir bei der Hitze besonders genossen haben. Die Wohnung entsprach weitestgehend den Angaben und Fotos.

naturnahe Ferinwohnung in traumhafter Umgebung

Wir haben im Juni 2018 1 Woche in der schönen Ferienwohnung verbracht und haben besonders die Natur und die gut ausgestattet Wohnung genossen. Viele Loire-Schlösser ließen sich von hier aus besichtigen. Für diesen Zweck eine ideale Ferienwohnung.

wonderful stay "au coeur de la foret"

We had a wonderful stay at the gite in Marcheroux. The gite is located amidst a forest, which is absolutely magical. The whole property is very pretty, surrounded by trees and lush greenery. The gite itself looks exactly like on the website and even better.It is very nicely designed and decorated. It has a spacious living room and open plan kitchen with a dining area.The bedrooms are comfortable, and they even have a small utility room where one can store the luggage. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking and dining, and there is a barbecue in the back yard. There is also garden furniture outside. The location is very central and great for visiting the Chateaux de la Loire. The owners are really nice people, they welcomed us cordially ,gave us information about the area and were always available for us. If we ever get back to the area, we would definitely stay again, and I highly recommend staying at this gite.

Ferienhaus für einen entspannten Urlaub

Die Angaben treffen genau zu. Ein gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus, sehr sauber, mitten im Wald gelegen. Natur pur. Zusätzlich zum Ferienhaus gibt es nebenan noch B&B Zimmer. Zentral gelegen für Besuche einiger Loire-Schlösser, Radwege (u.a. Loire-Radweg) sind schnell erreichbar. Die Fahrräder können geschützt untergestellt werden. WLan funktioniert problemlos. Großer Supermarkt ca. 3 km entfernt. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen.
