The house consist of 3 bed room 3 1/2 bathroom, full Kitchen Granite Counter-tops ,Living room,Dinning Room, Theater with 120" screen, WiFi, Game Console,Blue-Ray/DVD, Cable,Flat screen TV's in all Room,Washer/Dryer, outdoor kitchen/BBQ grill and sitting area Swimming Pool with 2000 square feet of Pool deck and Gazebo, kayak available at water edge.

Lovely place

The setting of this home is idea for looking over the amazingly beautiful Chalk Sound. It is not in a more "touristy" part of the island, but so easy to get there for dinner or visits. We loved being there, but I do think it's important to know there is no "proper" beach right there. However, there is easy access to Chalk Sound, where there are kayaks for use. Sunsets were amazing, and there is a huge amount of space in the home for 4 plus people. Huge kitchen and dining rooms, good size living area, and a theater room we never used, but was lovely. Communication with host was easy and quick.

Perfect view and Privacy

From the moment we got off the plane, Ron the property manager was a huge help. He reached out to meet us outside the airport so we would not get lost on our way to the property. Once there, he gave a thorough tour and got us hooked up with the various media options in the home (bluetooth outdoor speakers, and wifi for the movie theatre). Everything was made very convenient, including 3 kayaks, which because of being on the water we could just walk down the hill and paddle out. The property is located in a bit of an industrial area, so the front is not a great view. However, that is quickly forgotten once you go inside and walk out back. Overall a completely private, comfortable, and beautiful location. Glad we booked here.

Pictures are deceiving.

Location of property is in the industrial part of the island. Constant beeping from loading equipment at the port across street. Grill did not adequately work, pool pump did not run and water was stagnant and dirty, pool ladder was loose and dangerous, junk laying all over property, furniture was not what was in pictures, theatre was was unusable with no instructions, and just outdated overall. Great view of the sound and a quiet neighborhood at night, but will use a resort next time we visit the island.

Great view and pool area

We stayed here with 4 adults and found that we had more than enough room in the house. The location is close to the airport and to Sapodilla beach, one of our favorite beaches. The kitchen had all of the essential items for cooking at the house and the grill was in good working condition. We really enjoyed the pool area and found ourselves out there most of the time when we were at the house. The outdoor speakers are a nice touch. Access to the kayaks was easy and it was great to have them to paddle in chalk sound. We were surprised that the house did not provide beach chairs, that is the only thing that would have made our vacation better. We have rented before in Turks and other Caribbean islands and have always had chairs provided to take with us to the beach. Not having them added an expense as we ended up renting chairs for most of the week.

Disappointing, so disappointing.

So much about this property was sub-par. Many things would just take a little attention to bring it up to standard. The jacuzzi tub wasn’t secured properly and moved every time you touched it. Many drawers were missing hardware and the hardware was just languishing in the drawer. The grill was just pitiful. The outdoor laundry room was filthy. The tv’s never worked after a power outage. But the topper was that hazardous pool. There’s a 3’x5’ section off of the main pool, with no discernible function. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it when I was walking by the pool and fell in, injuring my leg pretty substantially. I had bruises on my back, hands, ankle and knee. I thought I had broken my leg. There was no caution tape, chair or table preventing accidental falls. The owner said there was supposed to be a ladder there. No ladder existed when we stayed there. I recommend if you are considering this property, keep looking.
