Welcome to our custom-built craftsman cabin, nestled at the foot of Grandfather Mountain in the heart of the Blue Ridge. Just three minutes off the Parkway and seven minutes from downtown Blowing Rock, this serene retreat offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury—with 24-hour self check-in for ultimate ease.

Built by our family in November 2018, the cabin features three cozy bedrooms and a sunlit sleeping loft, thoughtfully designed to bring the outdoors in. Whether you’re sipping coffee by the gas fireplace or soaking in the private hot tub under the stars, every detail invites you to slow down and savor the mountain air.

Step outside and follow the trail to Treetop Park for a campfire evening, or wander over to Chimney Park for sweeping views and quiet reflection. With miles of hiking and biking trails weaving through the Sweet Grass community, nature lovers will find endless ways to explore. Located just north of the iconic Linn Cove Viaduct, this area is rich in history—from prehistoric roots to early European settlements.

Wonderful mountain getaway

The home was in a beautiful gated community about 12 minutes from town. It was kept beautifully and so clean. Literally had everything we needed for a quick weekend getaway. The bed we slept in was very comfortable. The extra nap blankets were a plus for cooler nights. Plenty of linens in the home! There was a beautiful path to walk around the lake- maybe 1.25 miles. It was perfect for walking our dog. He was in heaven there too! The homeowner was very quick to respond and so kind. Thank you for having us!

Magical Mountain Get Away

The house and lake-front setting are absolutely beautiful. The house is very tastefully decorated, furnished and well-equipped. The property offers access to trails along some of the most gorgeous rhododendron-lined mountain streams imaginable. Plus - it snowed while we were there! We loved it and will be back!

Christmas in Blowing Rock

Beautiful Home in Perfect Location

We stayed for the weekend in October 2023 when our kids were participating in a cross country meet in Boone. Blowing Rock is a great little town with plenty to do. The home is gorgeous, private, and well built. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Perfect mountain getaway

We love Blowing Rock and enjoy going in the winter months. This was our first stay here and it was to die for! We didn’t want to leave. The community is a true gem.
