Cambria's Country Cottage - the perfect getaway

Our cottage is located in the peaceful community of Bern. We are only 20 minutes from beautiful Bear Lake and just 6 miles from Montpelier where you will find a grocery store, gas stations, eating establishments, Oregon Trail Museum and a hospital. This home comes with a complete kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a loft with 6 beds. You have 2 smart TVs to enjoy, or just hang out on the deck and do some star gazing. The fire pit area has a propane fire pit and a propane grill for your use. You can ride 4-wheelers in the summer and snow machines in the winter, right from the cottage. We are minutes away from. hunting, fishing and hiking.

The host is very accommodating and easy to contact! I needed to change the dates and they were very accommodating. This is the second time that we have stayed at this VRBO and it will not be the last. The location is great and it is very clean and inviting.

Great family retreat

We enjoyed our stay at Cambria's Cottage. It was close to some fun things to do, which we took advantage of, but we mostly stayed nearby and enjoyed being together. The tub is amazing, and we enjoyed roasting s'mores over the fire. The owners are great and responded to any questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome rental!

Beautiful area, quiet, rustic setting with incredibly friendly support and thoughtfulness in rental amenities. I grew up in Idaho and this rental reminds me of all the good things about it.

Lovely home in a peaceful location.

The house is immaculate, cozy and very comfortable plus is in a quiet scenic location yet is only a short drive to Bear Lake. The owner was quick to respond and was very helpful with my questions.

Very clean, comfortable stay

This is our second time staying here. The house is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The upstairs loft bedroom is perfect for a group of kids. We love this place because it's conveniently located near Bear Lake, Montpelier Reservoir, and other fishing spots. The hosts are very nice, and the property is very well kept. We will be back next summer!

Great stay near Bear Lake

The house was very clean and comfortable. It has a nice yard with horseshoes, cornhole, and a fire pit. The decor in the home is very nice and the kitchen is well stocked. Community with hosts was great! The best thing about the home is it's close to the North Shore of Bear Lake, Montpelier Reservoir, and other fun spots.

Great little Cottage

We loved this property, omg it was so quiet and peaceful. The weather cooperated with us so the stats were out in full force. Sitting by the fire looking at the stars was awesome. The only I wouldn’t say down side but the cottage needs more pots for cooking. Or maybe I just didn’t find them. I would highly suggest staying at this property. I know we will next year for the annual get together in Montpelier.Thank you for bringing over the fire wood. Sitting by the fire was the best.

Comfy, adorable cottage with great outdoor space!

Our family returned to the Bear Lake area to share our ancestral history (N-1 Ranch) with our daughters, sons-in-law(s) and 4 grandsons, aged 6,4,3,1 1/2. We loved this home & the hosts were extremely welcoming (and patient), since out little guys were quite rambunctious after 3+ hoursin our caravan! We were able to grill out 1 night while the kids were on the playset. We had a great day at Bear Lake, toured the Butch Cassidy Museum, and visited Montpelier before heading up to Jackson, Grand Teton and Yellowstone! We highly recommend!

Peaceful retreat

This was our third stay at Cambria's Cottage. The owners are close by and so welcoming. It's clean, charming, and very comfortable. All the amenities we needed, plus. The outdoor area is well maintained and fun to hang out in. Games and activities for adults and children are provided. Bern is a quiet, clean farming community where you can relax and see the stars and get away from the the big city. It's also close to Bear Lake's north shore swimming and boating facilities. We highly recommend starting there.

Excellent Stay!!!

We loved our stay in beautiful Bern! The mountain views are breath taking! Blake and Janna are so friendly and easy to communicate with! Their home is beautiful, roomy, and adequate in all areas. The kids loved the swing set. This is our 2nd time at their home, and we really enjoyed it just as much as the 1st time. Thank you for the lovely stay!

Family Deer Hunt 2022

We go hunting as a family every year near the cottage. This property worked out great! The kids had a great time catching grass hoppers across the street with Blake, the home was set up great for two full families with using the upstairs portion for all of the kids sleeping. We only had our family of 4 but didnt use full rooms of the house during our stay. Thank you again to the owners and we look forward to staying with you again in the future. - The Benner Family

Great House

This property was great. We were in the area for a wedding, so we didn't have a lot of time to explore the area, but everything about the property worked out great. There are plenty of beds, very clean, with a large kitchen and lots of room to lounge. The owners were quick to respond with any issues. Would stay here again if ever in the area.

Wonderful Cute Cottage

We stayed in this cute cottage for 4 days. We loved the old with the new. There is also so much room for sleeping many people between the upstairs and the downstairs. The master bedroom was amazing! There was even fresh baked cookies waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again.

Hunting weekend in Montpelier

We stayed at Blake and Janna's place while we were deer hunting. It was a perfect place to be at the end of a long day of being outside. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We are already thinking about our next stay!
