Beautiful remodeled updated farmhouse, on 40 + acre horse farm surrounded by state game lands in beautiful Western Pennsylvania. House is a 2 story farmhouse with 3 bedroom. 2 bedrooms have Queen size beds and 1 bedroom has Bunkbeds. All three bedrooms on the second floor. 1 full and 1/2 bath.. Hardwood floors throughout entire house. 1/2 mile from Goddard State park which has a 12 mile bike trail around Lake Wilhelm. 75 miles north of Pittsburgh. You can enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, boating, kayaking and an abundance of wildlife including bald eagles that nest nearby. You may want to take a relaxing walk around the 40 acre farm and enjoy the pond with rustic seating and firepit. Property has 2 separate fire pits, wood provided. Conveniently located between Pittsburgh and Erie, Pa. Not far from Grove City Prime Outlets. Aprox. 20 miles from Pymatuming. The house is centrally located between Mercer, Greenville and Meadville. Convenient to area colleges for Homecoming Activities: Allegheny, Thiel, Grove City, Slippery Rock, Westminster.

Wonderful place near the lake

We loved our stay at the Clarks Mill house. The rooms are spacious, the house stays warm despite the cold wind outside! We loved staying and will likely be back!

Another great stay at the Farmhouse

This is the third May in a row we have stayed at the Farmhouse. Recently renovated, it is always clean and has a well provisioned kitchen for doing our own meals. You won't find a better spot for staying near Lake Wilhelm.

Great Place to Stay for Lake Wilhelm

We stayed at the farm house for 4 nights in early May 2023. The house is great and pretty much entirely renovated. The kitchen has all required pots, pans and utensils. A nice place to stay when fishing at nearby Lake Wilhelm.

Fishing Trip to Lake Wilhelm

This was our second time staying at the Farmhouse. It is a terrific place to stay after a long day on the lake. The kitchen is stocked well so we can easly cook our own meals there. It is in a great location and always so very clean. We plan stay there in May of 2025, too.

My brothers and I enjoyed our 7 day fishing trip at the beautiful country farmhouse. We loved the house and the wrap around porch. Suzanne and Ken were responsive and very nice. Large, well stocked kitchen for cooking. The beds are comfortable. Wi-Fi is spotty and streaming tv is buffering often. We loved this property and will book again.

Nice spacious home close to lakes in the area

The check in process was easy. The property was nice and spacious for the 4 of us. It was clean and had beautiful hardwood floors throughout and modern amenities. It was also close to Wilhelm Lake and not far from Pymatuning Lake. Lots to do in the area. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing ! Owners were great with communication. House was so comfy and clean. Nice hot relaxing shower in beautiful bathroom. Kitchen so big ! Kids had fun playimg hide and seek, watching tv and walking around the property. The kids also loved the bunk beds, beds had comfy mattress too! Everything we needed was there !

Beautiful Home!

We rented this property over Labor Day weekend for a small, joint bachelor/bachelorette party for 6 people. The house is gorgeous, the pictures don't do it justice, you can tell they took great care in renovations and finishes to the house. We enjoyed fishing the pond out back and sitting around the fire pit at night. This is a great rental for a relaxing weekend. Thanks Ken and Suzanne!

Clark’s mills farm house

Beautiful remodeled farm house. Very nice Pond was hard to find but owner told us how to find it Enjoyed the wrap around porch, comfortable beds. Would have liked to have some sort of grill. No where close to get groceries but we came pretty well prepared Owner did disclose issues with internet. A dvd player with some movies would also be nice just to have on hand. Especially if there are small kids who need some down time Would stay there again. We had a great time visiting family and seeing grandkids Overall very nice place

Perfect family getaway

First of all the property was better than the pictures. This was my family’s first experience with Vrbo and we were a little skeptical. This farmhouse was perfect for my family and my in-laws to stay in. Clean, up to date and we felt right at home. Cute place, well maintained

House was nice, homey, and seemed well maintained. We were on a respite but needed connectivity and quiet, otherwise rating would be a little higher. The location is remote and Verizon service was on/off. Internet connectivity was minimal at best. Right off gravel road which was extremely noisy all thru the night we stayed - maybe that was unusual but we opted to get some sleep in a hotel instead. A/C worked well but vibrates the second floor. Remote country atmosphere, very close to Lk Wilhelm which was very nice. Owners were pleasant and responsive.

Lovely home

This house was beautiful and pretty much baby proof which was very nice with having a 1 year old that gets into everything. The owner was very responsive to messages and when we had a last minute change of plans she was very helpful. Will for sure stay again when we come back up.

Perfect for a family weekend!

This is a simple and lovely farmhouse in the country. It is impeccably maintained and run by owners that love what they’re doing. Ken and Suzanne communicated well and made us feel welcome with a well-stocked kitchen, endless hot water, lush towels and bedding, a fire pit, picnic table and more. A great VRBO experience!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Our family had such a wonderful time here this weekend. It was the perfect place for a weekend, holiday getaway, particularly during the current COVID surge. We had a contactless check-in, and we were even able to check in a little earlier than expected. We packed all of our meals so we could lay low as much as possible. The property is GORGEOUS! Everything is renovated and updated in this home, and it had all we needed, including a well-stocked, spacious kitchen. The house was very clean and well-cared for, the beds were super comfortable, and the quiet area added to the great sleep we all had while we were there. The temperatures were cool this weekend, but we still enjoyed the beautiful wraparound porch to drink our morning coffee while wrappped up in a blanket. Our family loves to be outdoors, so we spent a good deal of time at Lake Wilhelm, which was less than a five minute drive away from the house. The paved trails around the lake are a great way to enjoy the area. Other than going to the lake, we spent the majority of our time in the house playing family games around the table, reading, preparing and eating meals together, and watching a family movie. We really did not explore the area too much, as we were so content being at the house. There is a Dollar General a few minutes away, and it was a great place to stop and pick up a few items we forgot to pack. The owners of this home were wonderfully communicative, and they made us feel so welcome there. My teens were asking to rebook before we even left; we will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place!

We had a really great stay; we loved the property with the horses, the firepit for late-night bonfires, and the wraparound deck to watch the fireflies. Suzanne and Ken were wonderful hosts and super responsive with fire wood and other needs. One minor note: if you’re looking for a place to work from home- recommend you bring an extra jetpack or mifi; the WiFi can be a little spotty as there is only one one mifi.
