The home was cozy and clean. The hot tub was nice. The door lock was a little tricky but that could be because we aren't used to it. The management team were quick and responsive to any questions we had.
We had a great relaxing stay. The living area is laid out well, the hot tub was clean, and the balconies provided great areas to get out and enjoy the environment.

Thank you so much for your review James! We'll see you next time! -Erica, Guest Relationship Manager
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the range didn’t work, only one TV worked regularly and the hot tub stopped working while there. The house is dated and the carpets are old and not very clean but that didn’t bother us much. The house had a great location and was comfortable. Had all the amenities (when working) and our kids had a good time
Very nice, clean home with great location to the Village. Met our families needs. Kitchen in particular could use some updating but everything worked well.
Hi! Thanks so much for being our guest and we so appreciate your feedback! We hope you had an amazing time and we look forwarding to hosting you again soon.

Love Sunriver, but didn't know about the train track behind the cabin, and extremely disturbing the speed of the train. cobwebs in the entry, and finger nails on the bathroom floor. Bedspread in master was old and musty. And, the AC didn't work during very warm weather in Sunriver. Would not stay at this location again. We paid top dollar for the stay, but didn't receive in kind.

Hi Loy,
I'm so sorry to hear you didn't have a great experience in Sunriver. Our team will assess the items you mentioned and I will reach out personally to see how we can make this up to you.
My husband and I had a wonderful getaway in this house. The split layout worked out great for us and our 2 dogs, as we spent all of our time on the upper main level.
Super close to the Village!

This house provided a great place for us to stay in Sunriver. A few notes though...the master bedroom upstairs has big windows with no coverings. The morning light blares in there making it almost impossible to sleep in. It also REALLY heats the room up, so at bedtime it was a sauna in there. But we opened the window and put the box fan right in front of it, so it helped blow the cool air in the room. The only problem with that was then the window was open when the trains passed through in the middle of the night. It was incredibly loud. Since we have little kids, sleeping in wasn't a deal breaker for us and ear plugs helped with the loud trains. Also, the oven is incredibly small. Won't even work for a take and bake pizza. It barely fit a casserole dish. The stove was also horrible. Out of 4 burners, only 2 worked. It made it really hard to cook. We tried, then ended up eating out the rest of the time. The stove and oven are very old. Looks like from the 1960's. We had a great time and plan to return to Sunriver next year, but not stay in this house. Bennington was very helpful and responsive. Great customer service! I give the house a 3 out of 5 stars and Bennington 5 out of 5 stars.
Pros: open main living area where you can cook and talk to your family/friends. Enclosed hot tub with a nice view. Queen beds are comfortable. Walking distance to the village. The kitchen has ton of supplies to cook: kitchen tools, mixing bowls, casserole dishes etc. They even had a crockpot!
Cons: twin bed mattresses were rough. Older windows and sliding doors. Very hot and touchy water heater. Upstairs bedroom has no blinds on the upper windows. Right next to the train tracks. Lots of narrow stairs. The upstairs in hotter than the downstairs. Kitchen could use a pair of scissors and some sort of spray cleaner. Bedroom tvs are outdated.

Enjoyable time in Sunriver. House had everything we needed.
Very adequate Sunriver house equipped with everything we needed. About a 7 minute walk to the Village, which was great. Sharc was also close, but our adult family if 5 only went there once as it was very crowded with children. Wish there had been a Sharc when we brought our kids as children, but, alas, it was not where we wanted to be at his stage in our lives.
I'm a light sleeper and he train woke me whenever it passed at night or early morning. But others in our group never heard it at night. Overall the train was kind of fun and sparked lots of conversation. The most it came by on a night was three times and sometimes not at all.
I didn't see it mentioned on VRBO, but read shortly before we arrived on the Bennington website that there was no air-conditioning. As temperatures were close to 90 when we arrived, we were a bit worried. But the house was comfortable. The master bedroom got hot in the afternoons, but with the help of a fan, it cooled off in time for bed.
Check in and out were simple with an electronic combination lock. That eliminated the hassle of sharing keys. There were seven rather than the advertised three bikes, which was convenient. I was impressed with the management company. They let us know they would replenish paper products, soaps, etc., if we ran out, but we had plenty.
We've stayed in quite a few places in Sunriver. With the exception of the railroad, the location was great and I think we we received good value during our stay.

Cozy Cabin...Very Relaxing 😌
I liked how this cabin was close to the Sunriver village, & a relatively short drive up to Mt Bachelor. The Hot Tub was a welcome feature after Skiing all day. We enjoyed eating at home carbing up for Breakfast & Dinner in front of the Fireplace.
