Meet Babu: Our sweet resident cat is an easy-going indoor/outdoor companion who loves the property and rarely strays far. She'll need to be fed morning and night — food is always provided — but there's no litter box to manage and nothing complicated about her care. She's affectionate without being demanding, and simply part of what makes The Meadowbrook feel like a home. Our dog is boarded during all guest stays. Please note this property is not suitable for guests with pet allergies.

Right next door — just a 3-minute walk — is Gopher Glen Apple Farm, open July through December. Sample dozens of apple varieties, grab fresh juice, or pick up a homemade pie to warm by the stove.
