Welcome to Sonoran Sun Resort. This luxurious, newly remodeled 1 bedroom condo will exceed all of your expectations for a fantastic vacation to be remembered for a lifetime. New paint, new furniture, new bedding, and all professionally decorated. This is an end unit with an oceanfront wraparound terrace allowing views from Old Port all the way around to the courtyard. The over-size terrace has a table and chairs, plus outdoor sofa and patio chairs plenty of seating so you can relax alone or with company. You can't help but enjoy the stunning, unobstructed views of the Sea of Cortez, and with the sound of the waves, and star-filled sky over the ocean. Of course, inside this condo is very comfortable as well. With any luck, relaxing inside or on the terrace will be the most difficult choice you'll have to make all day.

You will have everything you need to enjoy your stay. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and the living room has a queen size memory foam sleeper sofa. The condo is fully equipped including a full stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, toaster and R/O drinking water. Prepare your favorite meals right here or visit any of the many great nearby restaurants. There is also an over sized washer and dryer in the condo. You can make and receive free phone calls to the USA or Canada and we provide free WiFi internet as well. The condo has a 50" - 60" Smart TV's with full DirecTV and all premium movie channels (HBO,MAX,SHOW,STARZ)

The Sonoran Sun Resort is one of the most luxurious beachfront resorts on beautiful Sandy Beach. The views & wrap around patio were fantastic! The living reclining chair & bed were super comfortable. Pleanty of room & storage. The resort was under consideration which was not noted. We heard loud concrete hammering from 300ft away all day, every day we were there.

Just perfect!

Our first couple of days were chilly and windy, but that didn't stop us from camping out on the balcony and soaking in the incredible surroundings. We had a few beach walks, but our view was so wonderful we mostly stayed right there. Take-out meals from Emiliano's were a nice addition. We come to Rocky Point every Christmas and it never disappoints. This condo is on our best-ever list!

As usual, Mexico didn’t let us down. The host was easy to contact via text. Typically responded within 30 minutes. The one thing I’d suggest adding in the room details is that the A/C is owner controlled. 74-78 degrees. When I asked about the passcode he stated he would adjust it so it wasn’t a big deal. He was very accommodating and understanding! We’d stay again! Now the pool staff was a little uptight for Mexico. Watching them interact with people, It seemed like they were a little too eager to act like police instead of property staff.

We were not notified of all the construction that would be taking place in the unit below us and in the parking lot. The ice maker was not functional, but ice trays were full upon arrival. I should have known not to use them because the last day of my trip was spent vomiting and having diarrhea. The unit itself was fine, but we discovered towels in the dryer when we went to use it, we also noticed groceries had been left from a previous renter. The cleaning crew needs to pay a little more attention to detail.

The ice is fine to use it's made from the water in the kitchen from R/O system (filters are changed every 6 months and were just changed right before your arrival) The towels in the dryer were our extra towels we provide and they weren't ready until after you checked in so that's why they were in the dryer and left for your use. The only thing in the refrigerator was condiments. Thank you for staying with us and hope to see you again. David

We stayed in this resort for the first time, last time was another Sonora resort Resort was great, luckily it wasn’t full so it wasn’t as loud. Grounds are beautiful Condo was great. We love this area! Everyone was friendly and check in and staff were all great

Pictures of the condo are very deceiving. Condo perceived to be much larger due to how the pictures were taking with the wide and distance lense. Very small, no bellhop to help with coolers and luggage, mattress was uncomfortable. Needs a thick foam topper, shower puddles out on the on the floor.

Hi Jennifer - The resort does have a bellhop to help with luggage and coolers but you need to go to the front desk to request. The mattress is a brand new memory foam with a 3" topper as well (sorry you didn't like it) most of my guests love the comfort of it. Not sure what you were expecting for a one bedroom condo but my listing does state the sqft of the condo. It's actually one of the larger one bedrooms you'll find on the beach. Sorry, it's wasn't what you were expecting but for future reservations please read the entire listing before you book. This way you won't be surprised and you won't feel the need to write a 3 star review for a 5 star property!

Just as described. Property felt secure with guard at gate. Room was clean and perfect for the two of us. Balcony had a great view and spent many hours enjoying the weather on it. Will stay again next time. Only small issue was the Wi-Fi is not secure.

Easy Peasy

First time to Rocky Point. Single mom and teens. This place was perfect for our relaxing vacation. Easy to find. Full of everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. Love the easy access to the stairs and the end unit. We are in for allergy reason and the kitchen had all necessary items to cook easily. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo and property with security. It’s located on the inside of the court yard. There was a couple of bands playing for a birthday party and wedding. Fun but loud. The restaurant was great. Fun pool bar and easy access to the beach. They have a little mini-market should you forget anything.
