207 North Shore Place is a second-floor villa in the highly desired North Forest Beach area, just one block from the Atlantic Ocean! Enjoy access to a shaded balcony and a community swimming pool and hot tub when you're not at the beach!

As you enter the villa, you'll find an open floor plan, lots of natural light, and tile flooring throughout the living areas. The living area features a comfortable sofa, free WiFi, a large TV, and access to a private balcony. The well-appointed kitchen provides a great space to entertain and prepare meals.

North Shore Place is located in the heart of Forest Beach and offers on-site parking under the building with key-coded security.

The location is the best. Walkable, to the beach, restaurants. Lots of stuff to do. Spacious and comfortable. We had a wifi issue. But our management company was super helpful.

Our stay was fantastic! I wasn’t sure what to expect with some of the critical reviews, but we found this condo suited our needs perfectly. The location was perfect. I actually preferred it over beachside locations due to its immediate proximity to Coligny Plaza. We walked everywhere! The rooftop pool was never crowded. The grounds were always clean and quite lovely. The condo was equally clean and had everything we needed. While the pullout couch isn’t super comfy, you have to realize that will be the case since none ever are without toppers. Communication with the management company was fast and efficient. We didn’t go thinking we’d spend a lot of time inside here, but when we did it was quite comfortable. We would happily stay here again!

Great location

This is a nice property, across the street from the beach and walkable to shops and restaurants. Our only complaint was that the thermostat was locked on 70 degrees and could not be adjusted. This was a minor inconvenience for us, but could be an issue for someone that wants the temperature warmer.

Great layout

The entire condo needs a complete renovation. There is nothing in it worth saving. The carpet is worn and dirty as is the tile flooring. The furniture is threadbare and dirty. The mattresses are a joke along with the sheets and comforters. Everything feels dirty. The bargain basement refrigerator belongs in a dorm room. The lighting is horrible with one broken lamp in the living room which sat on a table from the balcony. How you could have a million dollar condo in this building in this location and not care how it is furnished is beyond me. Don't waste your money, stay elsewhere! I feel bad giving it a one star rating, zero is more appropriate!!!!!!!!!!

Spring Break Stay

The condo was nice, well-equipped, and the location was excellent. It was in need of some cosmetic repairs and there was a large hole in the master bathroom ceiling from incomplete repairs. Also, there was no can opener, which we needed on several occasions. Overall, a very nice place with some minor tlc.

The room was OK -- not much silverware in the kitchen. Washer and Dryer were VERY LOUD and bothersome. Need updating. AC stopped working while we were there -- they quickly repaired it. Clean was about a 3 out of 5.

Great location!

Perfect location with easy beach access and accessibility to Coligny. The cleaning wasn’t quite up to my standards, the bath rugs seemed a little dinghy which I just washed myself there was what appeared to be a blood stain on the carpet in the second bedroom and the comforters were stained as well. The faucet handles in the master and kitchen were functional but broken. Overall we loved the place just giving feedback to make the owner/rental co aware of areas in need of attention.

Great location

This property is in a great location. We traveled with two kids, the house was spacious and located in such a great spot. Prior to arriving I reached out to confirm there was a hot tub as it would be too cold for the kids to use the rooftop pool. I was assured the hot tub was open. We got to the property on 2/24 and the hot tub was fully drained. According to other residents the hot tub had been closed for over a month and is often closed due to a leak apparently. We were super disappointed as we were really looking forward to using the listed amenities. I reached out a few times (phone call and email) while we were there and never received a call back regarding the hot tub.

The property is in dire need of repair. Several light bulbs out, can lights broke or missing fixtures, facet handle in master bedroom broke with sharper edges, bugs in light housing above shower. Reported to property manager and they entered it in their ticket system.

A Lovely Place to Stay

This is a wonderful condo to stay in. It has all of the comforts of home, a large kitchen with full sized refrigerator, over, microwave, but make sure you bring your own ground coffee and filters for the coffee maker, I believe it's a Mr. Coffee brand (check out the kitchen pictures) if you want coffee in the morning. I did enjoy having mine on the balcony. The master bed was firm and felt like it had a pillow top. Hubby and I usually sleep on a much softer bed, but this was actually a nice change. The second bedroom had softer beds, so my daughter and son-in-law told me, and I didn't hear any complaints. Except we did have issues with the thermostat - staying on 69 and 72, but we can say that the air conditioner really works! I really like how close we were to the shops, restaurants, and even Piggly Wiggly across the street, which I did not expect. The beach was just a short block away. We did not use the pool, and the hot tub was out of order, so I can't comment on those. Over all, we all enjoyed this home, and will certainly use it again when we visit Hilton Head again!

Avoid 207 North Shore Place

This was our fifth time to stay in this unit. We’ve been loyal customers and started staying here in the 207 unit in 2015 back when it was VRBO, we loved it so much that we overlooked the small items that could’ve been better, because we really enjoyed the location and it was clean and in acceptable condition, and we stayed again the next year in it. We rented from Ferg Vacations through Carson Realty for a stay after it was sold and had left VRBO, still enjoying the stay. We have now rented a few times since it has been under Vacasa management, and this will be the last. We checked in on 9/6 to stay through 9/13/22. It was very clean upon arrival, but that’s about it. We had reported following last year’s stay that the master bedroom mattress needed to be replaced. It is the same mattress that’s been there since our first stay in 2015, and it wasn’t a new mattress in 2015. It is so worn out and mashed flat due to age, that by the 3rd morning my wife awoke in tears from shoulder and lower back pain. I called Vacasa that morning at 7:50AM spoke to Keren, and she said “someone at the local Hilton Head office would be in touch with me”. At 9:30AM I called them back because I hadn’t yet been contacted, and we needed to know what to do for our remaining nights. They changed the status of our report to urgent. I received a call back from a local Vacasa person with the cell number (843) 707-6*3*. She told me that they didn’t have another unit, and that she would call the owner and see if they’d like to do anything and she’d get back to me. I told her we were at Walmart buying an air mattress in case nothing was done, she said that she could bring me an air mattress, but I told her we didn’t want to sleep on a used one and we already had driven to Walmart and had it in the buggy. She said she’d reimburse us for the air mattress, and would get the total when she called back. She never called back, ever. Other items that were an issue: Only supplied 4 wash cloths and that’s not enough for two people, had to wash every day. Broken vanity knob at sink in master bath since 2015 Not 1 comfortable chair on porch, same white chairs since 2015 Slow draining tub and sink in master bath Both DVD players were broken (we picked one up at Walmart because we’d brought movies to watch knowing it would rain a few days) Washing machine was dirty and needed to be run through a cleaning cycle Elevator wasn’t working Monday morning All of this being said, we loved our history at this unit, and we will continue to come to Hilton Head annually, but won’t be staying here, or renting through Vacasa. We’ve voiced all of this, but we know nothing will be done, and we highly recommend anyone reading this also check out the Google Maps ratings and reviews for the Hilton Head Vacasa office (2.8 of 5 stars), with other tenants experiencing similar troubles with their rentals.

This isn’t the unit we originally booked (the one we had booked was upgraded but sold so we had limited options and I wanted to stay in this building so grabbed this one). The location is amazing. My sister stayed in a unit that has been upgraded (we borrowed their broom bc as others mentioned they don’t have one which is very odd) and it was night & day difference. This unit needs some TLC. It was fine for us because we just slept there and we’re out and about most of the time. Several recessed lights were missing covers/looked like they had been ripped out. Washer had some black residue. Kitchen was not well equipped (but fine for basics). Several spots on walls where it looked like someone touch up painted but didn’t match right. Patio furniture cheap/dirty. The unit itself was clean for the most part. The location cannot be beat! Would stay in building again for sure but do prefer a unit that’s been upgraded. Wish the rooftop pool was heated- that would’ve been nice!

Property was pretty much as advertised; however, it could use some maintenance upgrades. The covers were missing on most of the ceiling lights in the bathrooms. The kitchen is not very well equipped for someone that wants to cook something during their stay and the rack inside the refrigerator is held on with duct tape. Only four forks!
