Situated on Grand Cayman's north west coast in Villas Pappagallo, this two king bedroom, two bath villa has ocean views from every bedroom and the living room.
A few steps from this villa you arrive at the beautiful, private, and quiet white sand beach which leads to a dock from which you can snorkel, scuba dive and swim. If you'd rather swim in a pool, then we have a lovely pool as well.
Diving packages with Cayman University Divers can be arranged. Enjoy a small six pack boat with customized diving to include optimizing your bottom time and custom dive times from a nearby private dock. Captain Brad Nelson at your service.
Next door is Barker's National Park with great spots for a beach picnic and miles of trails for walking, running, and biking.
This is a quiet area of the island, but all that Grand Cayman has to offer is only a 10-minute drive away.
This villa contains a full kitchen, but we encourage you to explore the many great and nearby restaurants of Grand Cayman; Ristorante Pappagallo, literally, is across the street, and many other excellent restaurants are just a short drive, including Blue, the only Michelin star restaurant in the Caribbean. Villa includes WiFi and a large screen TV. Owners are available to act as your concierge and guide you to various island attractions to suit your needs. Come enjoy the beauty of Cayman at Sea Jewel.

My husband and I enjoyed an extended stay at Villas Pappagallo. There is a constant breeze in West Bay which makes for very comfortable days on the beach and by the pool. Loungers were always available and so enjoyable reading a book under the shade of the palm trees and enjoyed daily walks through the National Park located directly down the road. The condo is exactly as it appears in the pictures. Very clean, roomy and comfortable. The king beds in each bedroom were wonderful and there are lots of bath and beach towels. Our family that visited us were equally complimentary about the condo and property. The kitchen is well stocked with quality cutlery, dishes, etc. It was also nice to have a large size clothes washer and dryer. Really nothing to bring except your suitcases! Some of the best restaurants in Cayman are at this end of the Island which was a treat. Our hosts, Ela and Mel, were extremely helpful with any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach with stunning views from the balcony. We loved having coffee in the morning while watching the sunrise! The amenities were top-notch, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we weren’t dining out. The owners were incredibly responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing beach getaway, and we can’t wait to return. Fabulous! The owner went above and beyond.

My two sons, husband and I had a wonderful diving holiday in this beautiful condo. The owner has been meticulous in her renovation and it’s lovely and immaculate. The location is quiet, West Bay, but close enough to seven mile to feel like you can enjoy the busier parts of cayman. The amenities are perfect, there’s always a lounger or a beach chair. The beach is quiet. Which we loved! It’s just a short drive to seven mile beach. The owner was amazing and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this VRBO.

Peaceful spring break

Beautiful updated condo in a quiet complex. Very well appointed with great appliances, pots, pans, and dishes, as well as towels and beach towels for 6. Lovely space for family time. Small secluded beach with white sand and a pier for snorkeling. We rented a car and also made some day trips to seven mile beach for paddle boarding, the turtle sanctuary, and the south shore for more snorkeling. These were all easy drives. I also highly recommend taking a boat ride out to Stingray City. Owners are responsive and helpful. Cleaner/greeter also made herself available during our stay. Highly recommend!

Elegant, on the beach, peaceful location

This is modernized condo at an uncrowded part of the island. Marble, gold fixtures, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, nice linens, some games and books, excellent WIFI, 4 balconies. There is a short walk to the front of the property, turn left and you're in the sand with chairs and a pier or turn right to the pool. Bring your own snorkel it is worth it! On sight parking is perfect and really couldn't have done it without a car. Delicious fancy restaurant across the street. Hosts responsive with every question or issue and local helper if needed. I would be happy to stay again.

Impeccable

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation rental! The property was impeccably clean, and the check-in process was seamless and stress-free. The area felt very safe and was easy to access, making it a perfect home base for our family vacation.The location is unbeatable! We were just minutes away from the Turtle Centre and a variety of great restaurants. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 15-minute drive, which made exploring the island so convenient. Renting a car was definitely a great choice, and although driving on the left side took about a day to adjust to, it was very manageable.One of the highlights of our stay was the pool—spacious, clean, and perfect for unwinding. Snorkeling off the dock was absolutely magical, especially for our small children. The calm waters were ideal for them, and we saw some incredible marine life, including Atlantic tang, brain coral, blue head fish, and even a stingray at dusk!This island holds a special place in our hearts, and this rental made our trip even better. We highly recommend this property to families looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Nice condo...noisy roosters

The condo was well represented on line with the exception of the following: not enough parking available,, you will have to park across street. The electronic door lock was VERY difficult to operate. No instructions on using lock. It took multiple tries to enter unit. No safe in unit. No beach chairs to use. ROOSTERS will wake you up at 4 am. 7 out of 8 mornings the Roosters woke us up.

Thank you kindly for your feedback on the condo. We do apologize for the temporary parking inconvenience. It just so happens that in order to improve the complex, the condo association made the decision to replace the asphalt with pavers. This construction is current and should be completed in approximately 60 days. Guests were advised of this prior to arrival on island. Unfortunately this does mean that in the interim guests have to park across the street. The complex is located next to the national park, which is quite beautiful. It does have wonderful walking and running trails but also has roosters. We have not found them particularly problematic when we have visited. We are sorry to hear that they were a problem. The complex has beach lounge chairs and pool chairs available. We personally have never had a visit in which there were no chairs available whenever we wished to lounge at the pool or the beach, which tend to be quiet. We will inquire of maintenance on this issue to see if they have any thoughts about your experience. We have not purchased chairs for our visitors to carry to the beach but we would be happy to consider this if availability becomes an issue. The combination lock is new. We were not aware that it was difficult to operate. We do have an on island concierge available for issues or questions. Neither we or our guest coordinator were advised of any issues with the lock or otherwise. We could have gladly had our advisor come and offer assistance with the lock and we would have had some chairs brought over had we known there was a problem. These guests were last minute; they requested and were given a significant discount on the regular property rates. We do provide phone, email and text assistance for guests while on island and we typically are able to respond to requests within hours. Had we been given the opportunity to alleviate any of these concerns, save the roosters which are beyond our control, we would have gladly done so. Also of note is that due to no fault of ours, the airlines delayed these guests travel and they arrived on island a day late. The day of check in, they requested a check out a day late at no charge so as to not lose a day of vacation. This last minute request was given at no cost to these guests. Regardless, in addition to the free night you were already given, should you wish to have a free night in a future stay to compensate your inconveniences, we will gladly accommodate. Christmas Family vacation

The unit was beautiful. Extremely clean. Everything brand new and in perfect order. We stayed with 2 adults, 2 adult children and 2 smaller children and had plenty of space.Villas Pappagallo is in a quieter part of the island. Beach in front was uncrowded, clean, safe for swimming even for small children. Pool was great. Plenty of lounge chairs. We enjoyed long beach walks and running through Barkers National park which is adjacent to the property . My daughter enjoyed riding with Nicky Eldemire who operates a small stable nearby and was way better and safer than some of the larger operations. Restaurant across the street was excellent. My son enjoyed fishing off the pier. We had a rental car from Marshall’s rent a car which was great to have to visit across the island or go to the supermarket. Cayman is in general very safe. Mel was great in communicating. We will gladly return.

Great Place for Relaxing Vacation

We had a very enjoyable one week stay here. The unit is a well-maintained spacious 2 bedroom. It is set back a bit from the ocean and has pleasant views including partial ocean views. It comfortably accommodates a family or two couples. The kitchen is well-equipped with standard items. We only cooked breakfast but you could do more. The Villa Papagallo complex is very nice. It has a good sized white sand beach and a pool area with palm studded views of the ocean. There are lots of chairs and umbrellas and the area never seemed at all crowded. The complex is 12 to 20 minutes away from the Seven Mile beach area and there are a number of great restaurants even closer (Ristorante Papagallo across the street is serves excellent classic high end italian food with a seafood focus and nearby Catch serves inventive seafood; Macabuca is a more casual ocean side restaurant that is good choice for lunch). While Seven Mile Beach is certainly magnificent, many parts of it are quite crowded (particularly in front of the big hotels such as the Marriott.) We enjoyed the couple of afternoons we spent there, but were very happy to return to the quiet and lovely grounds of Villa Papagallo.

Crowds? No crowds here just all the beauty

Upon arrival I was met by the property manager Brad who was so kind and helpful. He later became the dive instructor for me and my son but that’s another awesome story. The property is right on the ocean. You can see the ocean from both balconies. So beautiful. And the condo is HUGE. My daughter had her own queen size bedroom. My husband and I had a large king size master and my son had the large queen size sleeper downstairs to himself. The kitchen was well appointed and had EVERYTHING you needed. They even had masks, snorkels, and fins you could use right outside at the coral reef off the end of the dock there at the property. The pool was beautiful and usually no one was even in it. We had it to ourselves! And the ocean was stunning with some sea grass near shore. But if you walked to the end of the pier and snorkeled there and turned left (facing the ocean) coral was everywhere and I was swimming through schools of blue, yellow, and rainbow fish. Seriously it was like National Geographic. The only problem with this place is you had to drive and if you aren’t comfortable driving on the island it is not for you. But 10-15 minutes and you are at the craziness of 7 mile beach and a million restaurants and all the things. But we found we preferred breakfast in the condo, lunch on the west side at a lovely place recommended by our condo owner called Macabucas. That’s actually where my son and I learned to dive with Brad as there is a reef right there by the restaurant. We did take the car and explore the island and really driving wasn’t hard once you got it in your mind to drive on the left side of the road. The temp was easily controlled in the condo. The location was away from the crowds but easily accessible to all the things you needed. If you want someone bringing you fruity drinks and fighting for your chair on the beach go somewhere else. If you want peace and serenity, plenty of chairs on the beach and by the pool, quiet nights where it’s just you the ocean and your family- call up my new friend Ela. Do what she says to do because she is spot on. Go snorkeling, go dive, take a long walk on the beach, let the wind blow through your hair while you sit in your lounger reading a book. Go to paradise. This is it.

Great stay in West Bay at Villa Pappagallo

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely condo right on the beach. Hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect - out of the fray of 7 mile beach but so much within a short distance. The pool area is lovely and the beach is very nice. The national park is a few feet away with a beautiful natural setting. Our friends went horseback riding right down the road. The complex is beautiful, quiet and a wonderful restaurant right across the street. We snorkeled right off the pier and went shelling on the beach nearly every day. The condo was beautiful and had everything we needed. Perfect location for a beautiful, relaxing vacation. We will definitely return.

gorgeous private beach

Loved the property, bright open and well stocked! the place was comfortable and a wonderful home away from home. the private beach and reef were amazing and we spent a lot of time in the water. best kept secret

We had a lovely stay at this property in the West Bay. Owners are very easy to work with. Villas Papaggallo are the best kept secret on the island. Condo was perfect for our family. Kitchen is amazingly stocked, so cooking is easy. It was clean, new king bed in master, decks to sit out and read or play cards. There is a nice dining room table for meals which was enough space for our family of 5. You can snorkel right off the dock or sit in the lounge chairs enjoying the ocean view and breeze. Not far from grocery store, liquor store or Georgetown if you want to shop. We loved this condo and location and we will be back.
