Alison was great host and property was perfect for our adult children and us to access Edgartown. Last visit to MV was 30 years ago and we relived many memories
The property was clean and any concerns were immediately addressed by owner/property manager. The decor and entire house is dated if that matters to you. The one complaint would be the low flow shower nozzles which reduce the temperature of already tepid hot water. Otherwise solid wifi, location to downtown Edgartown, easy access to grill, washer/dryer, etc.
Would encourage the Owner to define how they want people to leave the house on check out (strip beds or not? towels? etc). They have solid arrival/stay instructions which were comprehensive!
Thank you for opening your house to us and helping to make our trip to the Vineyard memorable.
This Edgartown home was in a perfect location. We visited all over the island and were never that far from "home".
This house was clean and cozy. We spent hours around the kitchen table laughing and talking. i had one small complaint and Allison listened to me and I am confident she took care of it. I do recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a good place to stay in beautiful Martha's Vineyard.

Nice vacation rental with plenty of space located just outside Edgartown historic district. Easy walk to downtown Edgartown shops and restaurants. Bring a bike for easy access to beaches. Very responsive owner and property manager. Highly recommend.
Pro:
- Location: great location, very close to downtown
- Size: much larger than anticipated.
- Price: for the size and location once of the best prices available.
- Check In/Out: very easy access with clear instructions.
Con:
- Condition: Very worn- from the linens, towels, décor and general property items. Shades were broken/torn, carpets and furniture had several apparent stains. Lights were burnt out in the kitchen, and door knobs and clock had duck tape on them. Beds were very hard/worn mattresses... a topper would go a long way!
- Pest: Ant issue in the kitchen, around sink area/counters.
- Cleanliness: with the stains and general care of the house, did not find it "clean" . Also found hair in the shower, and a toilet seat stain(old urine?)… I spent a good portion of the first day cleaning and sanitizing the place with the cleaners, sanitizer and wipes I brought. I also used my own linens and towels.
This home has a lot of potential as a rental.
Excellent location. The house needs updating, but that is reflected in the price, which was extremely reasonable for the amount of space. The layout was perfect for two couples with snoring husbands to spread out in, and it was a pleasure to be able to walk to all of the Edgartown shops and our friend's house in Katama.
Wonderful experience overall - Outstanding location, clean and easy to access and the owner was very helpful and responsive. Thank You Alison !

Great location but needs major upgrades
Pros: location is great. 10 min walking distance to Edgartown downtown.
Cons: the house is very very old and needs major repairs. Our biggest problem was bad smell that wouldn’t go away even with opened windows. Kitchen utensils are so old and scratched and just horrible. We couldn’t use them: we bought our own pan and a pot. Teapot was rusty. We didn’t need to use fans or air conditioners but if we had to that would be a major health concern: they were so dirty. Linens were provided but we should have brought our own. Towels were unusable. The linens in the bedroom upstairs have not changed after previous guests. Backyard we just ignored by saying what can we expect from a rental Very surprised hat the house has seven 5-star reviews. We managed for 3 nights and tried to ignore these negatives in order not to ruin our mini vacation.
This house is a cozy gem in a perfect Edgartown neighborhood. It is roomy, well-stocked, and clean. The owner is very responsive. We wish we could have stayed longer, but hope to return next year.
We couldn't have picked a better location--we love walking and this did not disappoint! Quiet location, but a short stroll to all the attractions of town. Thanks for a wonderful home away from home!
We loved our stay and are hoping to return next year. The house was perfect for our all-adult family. As the other reviews noted, it is larger than it looks and the size and location of the common rooms and the 4 bedrooms provided had the space needed to spread out, have togetherness but also have some privacy when so desired. (We rented the whole house.) The location was perfect-easy walk into the busy part of town but situated on a quiet street. It was also close to great biking trails. (Longtime MV friends and owners kept marveling at what a great house it was and what a fabulous location it was.) The owner was wonderful to deal with.
This place is a find!!
This home was a lovely surprise! It was so much more spacious than pictured. The rooms were all larger than depicted, and the entire house was incredibly clean. The location was perfect!
In true walking distance to the heart of downtown Edgartown!
Upon move-in, there was a bit of a musty smell, but it was gone immediately after turning on the air conditioning.
This house provided easy access to all other towns an beaches, and my family enjoyed our week. Would definitely recommend!!
What a gem! House was exactly as pictured, only bigger than it looked. Layout was so convenient, as everyone had privacy. 5 minute walk to Edgartown, which was such a bonus. Alison was very responsive with all questions. Would definitely rent again!
