The Space:
Casa Cerro Verde is a 6-bedroom, 6.5-bath mountain villa, including 2 private cabinas, set in Costa Rica's coffee country with sweeping Central Valley views. It sleeps up to 16 guests and is just 25 minutes from SJO.
The home
Unwind in the new solar-heated infinity pool with its hydro-massage bench, watch the sunset from the patios, or start the day on the yoga deck. Inside you'll find a fireplace, A/C, Wi-Fi, and laundry, plus gated parking. A private chef can be arranged for any meal.
Retreats, workshops & small celebrations
The same home that suits a family getaway works well for wellness retreats, workshops, team offsites, and small family celebrations, with indoor and outdoor practice spaces and yoga props on hand. Small daytime gatherings are welcome with advance approval, and quiet hours run from 10pm to 7am.
You decide how much support you want. Some groups simply book the house and run their own program. Others ask our local team to arrange as much as they like: chef-prepared meals and dietary needs, airport transfers, an on-site coordinator, massage, yoga or meditation sessions, and excursions such as La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Doka Coffee Farm, or a cloud forest night walk. Message us through the platform with your plans and we'll tailor the details.
Nearby
Poás Volcano, La Paz Waterfall Gardens, and working coffee farms are all within easy reach.
Guest Access:
The entire property is yours: main house, both cabinas, solar-heated pool with hydro massage bench, and gardens. A long private drive leads to a gated entrance. Self check-in by lockbox at any hour, and we send gate and door codes with directions before you arrive. Parking is inside the gate.
The Neighborhood:
If you want privacy and seclusion, this is your dream house. The location is on a quiet street just outside the small community of Pilas. A short driveway takes you to the front gate entrance. Once the main gate is open, you enter into a world of gardens and serenity, with sweeping views over Alajuela, San José, and Heredia — essentially the entire Central Valley spread out below you. To the east, Irazú Volcano rises over the horizon, and on clear days, you can spot the Nicoya Peninsula and a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean to the west. There are no neighbors close to the house so it’s the ultimate in privacy.
Getting Around:
A Car is recommended but not required.
