Saida Royale 9152 is the perfect accommodation for couples, friends, and families looking for peace & tranquility! This charming 2 bedroom, 2 & 1/2 bathroom condominium is located directly on the beach and provides guests with the best views of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as the Laguna Madre Bay. The living area is spacious and features a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is located off the living area and has all major appliances (dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, freezer, and stove). The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils. The master bedroom is large and has a king size bed and a flat screen TV. The condominium offers plenty of sleeping space for guests. The guest bedroom entails two queen size beds, flat screen TV, private bathroom and a kitchenette. With windows outlining the southeast side of the condominium, guests have ocean views from all rooms!

The condo features a balcony off the living room that provides beautiful views of the beach for miles and miles! Enjoy a quiet morning sipping coffee & watching the sunrise, or socializing with friends and family for a nightcap under the stars! Spend your days walking the beach, swimming in any one of Saida's 3 pools, soaking up the heat in a hot tub, playing tennis and so much more!

This penthouse is beautifully decorated! We had an amazing view of both sides of the island. There were nice size TV's in every room and lots of extra towels! We loved our stay and we have always used SPI rentals because they do everything possible to make your stay effortless! I would recommend this penthouse!

Awesome place, would definitely stay here again

This place was awesome. Great layout, tall ceilings, the balcony was great to watch the sunrise over the ocean. Plenty of towels, great kitchen and the rooftop was breathtaking. Would definitely stay here again. Walking distance to the beach, golf cart rental, and restaurants.

The only issue we had was that one elevator was broken, so leaving or going to the room was a nightmare because it took forever.

It was a great experience!

Have always enjoyed Saida Royale, but will probably check elsewhere for future stays because of the parking situation. Unit accommodates 8 but you only get one parking spot. We took pictures of lot with numerous parking spaces available. Large units should be allowed 2 spaces. At minimum, give 2nd car a revocable pass that can be revoked if lot really is full. Other than this, we do enjoy the property, beach access, pools and tennis courts.

When we walked in I couldn't have been more pleased. The big windows with the view of the beach was amazing. The beach was so close and when we were done we would come right to the pool. The pool bar has an amazing bartender, Scott, with whom we enjoyed visiting our entire stay. He gave great recommendations for restaurants and many were within walking distance! We will definitely be back!!

Loved it! 15th Floor Roof deck with views of Gulf, Lagoon and Space-X! Amenities on site were great. (bring your own beach towels) Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms user-friendly. Rooms were large. Plenty of seating. Washer/dryer was handy. Did I mention the roof deck?!!!! It was huge. Part of it was shaded the remainder for soaking up the sun in privacy with protection from the strong Gulf breezes. I will be back.

THE VIEW WAS AMAZING FROM OUR CONDO AND EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH. ONLY 1 ELEVATOR WORKED AND WE HAD TO GET OUR KEY CARD CHANGED A FEW TIMES. THEY EXPLAINED THE CARD SWIPERS ARE OLD. IT WAS AN INCONVENIENCE. OTHERWISE THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND WE REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME.

When we left 2022 we ask if owner would consider replacing master bed. It was so bad we slept in guest bedroom. Lucky our guest were only with us one week. Then the episodes of roaches this year. And Spectrum TV came to disconnect and take box. This happen before we had to check out.

All of the Handicap parking was blocked off at Royale for a contactor working on the two jacuzzies for 4 days. I was there for 10 days and had to get my door card rekeyed seven (7) times. So I got to go from the bottom to the top floor and back to the top each time because the card would not open the door. I will NOT be staying at Royale again!!!!!

Unfortunately we did not know that the property next to us had a permit to have their music blasting so loud that even with all the background noise we tried to have in the condo (vents & TV noise) you could still hear every word of every song till 2:00 am!!! I understand it’s the beginning of March & spring break is starting but we would not have stayed here if we knew about the noise levels. Love the view & location but it does need some renovations (paint peeling) & a deep cleaning.

The facility is run down: entry walkway uninviting-We wanted to leave as soon as we approached the building; lobby was dirty and plastered coming off walls; elevator was dim and dirty and one day a shopping cart was in the elevator; elevator lobby area on the 15 th floor-dirty and a piece of pizza remained until I said something after two days. Also, a shopping cart. The items were removed but floor not cleaned. Now onto the unit: dirty walls, mirrors, moldy shower, shower door does not close all the way, furniture was dirty so we were reluctant to sit on it. Positives:fabulous views, great deck furniture, washer and dryer, and other amenities were fine. I hope that the owner will update the unit and influence the property owner to fix the common areas up so that people immediately feel welcome into a resort atmosphere and the feeling continues throughout the stay.

Check in process with SPI (property manger) ruined first part of my day. The kids working there are nice but sent us in circles and wouldn’t give us parking pass to enter the property until I complained. We had arrived early that morning to have full day at beach. Then when we entered the condo, furniture was very dirty and walls needed to be re-painted. The worst part was the refrigerator needs to be replaced and issues with it cause the ice maker to freeze up. Another issue is the AC won’t cool under 73 during day and 70 night. HVAC needs to replaced at the building. To top off the experience, only one elevator was working and took us an hour to get from our condo to our car with luggage. Overall, property management is a pain at check in, unit is not kept up well and building itself needs to be updated and maintained better. Will never stay at Saida or Royale again.

A Beautiful Condo with a Beautiful View and a 5-Star Potential

This was a very nice condo in a nice complex. Outside, there were multiple pools and hot tubs, ample covered seating, a full bar, tennis courts, and effective cleaning stations to remove sand from your feet. No matter where you stay in the complex, the beach is just a one- or two-minute walk. Inside, the seemingly recently-remodeled condo was large and comfortable. The living room is flanked by bedrooms on each side. All three of these rooms have a bank of large windows on the south side. From the balcony of the living room is an amazing, 180-degree view of the ocean on one side and the bay on the other. Directly to the south is also a view of SpaceX, if that interests you. Both bedrooms and the living room each have a television. The owner's suite has an in-suite bathroom with a large counter and double sink. However, the king-size bed is quite bouncy, partly due to its simple frame. I was unable to share the bed with my spouse after only a couple hours of sleep due to the rockiness. The guest bedroom has two comfortable queen beds and a smaller bathroom, with its own AC. However, the AC didn't seem to lower the temp; we had to open the bedroom door to the main living area to let in the cool air. Even the main AC struggled to keep the condo cool to 75 degrees during the day. The kitchen was adequate, but some simple changes would improve it: we found no measuring spoons, no coffee filter (which required a different size than the standard ones we brought), and a non-working ice dispenser. The fridge made ice quite well, but we had to open the door to remove it by hand. Since this condo is on the top (15th) floor, it also had a private terrace on top which was nearly the same size as the entire condo. What a beautiful, but under-utilized space. There were just two, cheap plastic chairs and no table, or loungers. Similarly, the small balcony off the living room would have benefitted from a small table to hold your coffee or a bowl. Overall, I'd stay here again. However, it could be a 5-star place with a few modifications.

Large Disappointment

We have used SPI for years and there have been some minor issues, but this last vacation was a completely different story. When we arrived they were just completing the installation of a new air conditioning unit for part of the apartment. They completely tore out a closet to do this. It took 5 days before we had that closet. There were roaches everywhere for the first few days and we had a terrible odor for several days until we found loaf of bread completely covered in mold. We never got all the TV channels in one of the bedrooms that we got in the other two rooms.
