We had a lovely stay in this beautiful house. It’s in need of a little TLC but what it lacks in modernity it more than makes up for in charm. Great location within easy reach of Honfleur and Deauville which is why we chose it. Large garden and outdoor space which was perfect for our grandchildren (aged 7 and 9) to play safely in.

We had a great week at the cottage. Lovely old house so don’t expect it to be pristine but it was clean and welcoming. Comfy beds, good living room but we didn’t use it as the weather was too good to waste time sitting indoors!The kitchen is small but perfectly adequate. We cooked most of our evening meals there. The oven is a combi microwave/oven but is easy to use. The house smelt of smoke from the old fire place but it wasn’t unpleasant and soon disappeared when the door was left open. The garden area is large with plenty of seating available. Lots of shade which was needed as we were there during a heat wave. The owners live nearby and we met Tony, who was lovely. We enjoyed ourselves, plenty to see and do and a good base for exploring Normandy.

Cute old house with lots of character. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Owner conveniently located nearby. Beds were comfortable. However, although the listing says “our prices include all fees, no hidden fees”, we found out the day before that we would be charged cash for sheets and towels. We were also unhappy that the downstairs kitchen and bathroom had a musty smell. Fair warning. Upstairs ceiling is sloped and low. All that aside, we had an uneventful, successful stay.

Première fois que l’on parle d’odeur de moisi!! Je ne suis pas du tout d’accord avec vous. Les draps et serviettes de bains sont en effet pas compris dans le tarif de la réservation mais ceci est indiqué dans l’annonce. Pour le plafond bas, c’est en effet le style des maisons normandes dont le 1 étage est mansardé. Par contre il est aussi de respect de rendre le gîte dans le même état de propreté que vous l’avez eu. Pour conclure vous n’avez pas passer l’aspirateur et nettoyer le gîte . Cordialement Anthony

Gîte extraordinaire ,spacieux et bien décoré .Salles de bains de haut niveau et couchages sublimes .Salle à manger spacieuse avec cheminée monumentale digne d un manoir.A l étage cinq étoiles pour la suite parentale avec salle de douche délicieuse. Et vastes lits bien suspendus.Le meilleur gîte de toute la région et même de France .Au calme absolu et au sein d un arboretum rare et traversée d animaux comme des écureuil des biches et des lapins de garenne.

Freundliche Gastgeber, leider kein WLAN vorhanden, Küche und Bad sind zusammengestückelt und in mäßigem Zustand, es hat alles sehr nach kaltem Rauch vom Kamin,der keiner ist, gerochen. Das Haus hat wahrscheinlich früher als Räuerei gedient,ist ein Nebengebäude auf dem sehr ruhigen Grundstücks.Viel Platz aussen

Hôte très gentil, magnifique jardin (le chant des oiseaux, les hululements de la chouette et les écureuils m'ont vraiment beaucoup plus). Possibilité de profiter des balançoires et de la cabane avec toboggan pour les enfants. Notre petit garçon de 6 ans a adoré. Un tout grand merci ! . Maison au calme, en pleine campagne, très bien équipée et agréable.

De eigenaar is gastvrij en het huisje erg charmant. De foto's zijn representatief van het huis: mooi open haard, maar een erg klein keukentje. Ook verdien het huis een opknapbeurt, het is verwaarloosd. De eigenaar is bezig met een verbouwing waardoor de erf als een bouwopslag eruitziet. Er is geen wifi, al staat het als beschreven. De eigenaar heeft wel snel een verstopping in de badkamer opgelost.

Bonjour, je tiens à apporter une information à votre commentaire. Je ne vois pas que la cour est en chantier car nous sommes pas en mode rénovation pour le moment. Et les matériaux près de notre garage ne concernant pas l’espace du gîte sont des matériaux de secours ( tuiles… ) je ne comprends pas votre commentaire. Je pourrais fournir des nouvelles photos de la propriété à mes nouveaux locataires pour les rassurer. Surtout que vous êtes les premiers hôtes à faire un tel commentaire depuis 10ans que je loue ce gîte. Bonne continuation anthony

Ein tolles kleines Ferienhäuschen. Man muss wissen, dass das 2. Schlafzimmer über die Haustreppe links erreichbar ist. Küche ist sehr klein, aber auf den Bildern erkennbar. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Sehr netter Besitzer. Die Kinder haben den großen Garten genoßen und das sie das Trampolin und die Schaukel mit benutzen durften. Alles schnell erreichbar, wie z.B. Honfleur.

petite maison normande à Boulleville

négligences dans certains domaines : pas de bois utilisable pour le feu de cheminée . 2 couteaux disponibles pour un gite de 6 personnes . nombreux aliments périmés dans le placard de cuisine. mobilier de jardin vétuste. manque d'entretien de la végétation extérieure. le gite a du charme et l'endroit est très calme et reposant. L'accueil est simple et cordial.
