Inside you will find 2 bedrooms with comfy beds and lovely linens. A small but complete kitchen makes Clemons Cottage a perfect option for guests who would like to enjoy preparing some meals while on vacation. Even though the cottage is one of the historic properties in Manteo, you will enjoy modern conveniences like HDTV and wireless internet. Comfortable air conditioning in summer and heating in winter makes Clemons Cottage a year round destination. Pet friendly. Cute cottage…. Clean, great location. Easy check in. Property was a little “older” than anticipated and fitting four people in it is quite a stretch. . Note that there is no dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no tv in any bedroom, TINY kitchen. The groundskeeper, Lloyd, was fantastic and just lovely. I would absolutely VRBO at this location again.

Clemons Cottage was the perfect place for my husband, adult daughter, our dogs and myself to stay while evacuating from Hatteras Island during Hurricane Erin. Sharon was incredibly kind and accommodating given our need for flexibility, and the cottage was clean, comfortable, and well located for whiling away a few unplanned days in the area. Highly recommend.

So cute! The cottage is small but packs in everything that we needed. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants in Manteo. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Cottage in Manteo

Enjoyed four days with our granddaughters in the perfect place. Size was just right. Location was convenient to everything including walking to ice cream and the playground. The yard was an added benefit. Very quiet neighborhood and many nice places to walk the dog.

We stayed 4 nights. Clemons cottage was perfect for us and our 2 preteen grandsons. Beds were very comfortable. AC was great. House was clean. Cute garden but too warm to enjoy on this trip. The kitchen was tiny but had the things we needed for some lightmeal prep. We could have used a fourth stool for the bar height table. The best part is we could park our car and walk to downtown Manteo. Would recommend this property.

Clemons cottage is adorable and in a great location. We enjoyed walking to the waterfront each day and sitting in the garden with our dogs at the end of the day. Loved our stay and will be planning another visit soon!
