About the host

We have lived in Oregon and Western Washington, and have traveled the world together. So why and how did we end up in Kalispell, MT? We were ready for a change of pace, after growing up in neighboring small towns in Washington state we appreciated the feel of a smaller community, but wanted to live in a place that was big enough to have a variety of opportunities, outdoor activities, and arts and culture. We required water; Flathead lake is amazing! And natural spaces; nature and hiking are all around in abundance with Glacier National Park in our backyard! I must add it feels like healthy and pristine nature, which seems more and more rare. We were attracted to the natural beauty and the warm hearts of the people who live here. And so after one visit, (and a job offer) we decided to move and call Kalispell and the Flathead Valley home!

Why they chose this property

The historic Eastside Kalispell neighborhoods are beautiful! Tree lined streets, historic houses, walking or biking to everything. It's a special place.
