About this property

Drome provençale Gîte La Colline FULL CHAMP

Authentic stay in this former 17th century silkworm farm, located in the heart of nature, at the foot of the Eyzahut cliff.
Well renovated in 3 independent cottages, you will find calm, relaxation and rejuvenation.
On the border of the Dauphiné and Provence, the Drôme Provençale is located east of Montélimar and extends on the left bank of the Drôme river. It enjoys sunshine worthy of that of Provence, thanks to its already more Mediterranean climate.
This is why the lavender fields, the orchards of olive and fruit trees, the vines and the holm oaks stretch as far as the eye can see.
True land of charm, the Drôme Provençale is dotted with classified villages (Le Poët-Laval, La Garde-Adhémar, Montbrun-les-Bains). Often perched, they have kept their medieval appearance with their narrow, cobbled streets, their castles, their Romanesque churches or chapels.
Many artists and craftsmen settled there taking over their ancestral traditions: potters, ceramists, cabinetmakers, glassmakers, upholsterers, blacksmiths ..
In terms of nature, the diversity of landscapes stretching from the Vercors massif in the north, to the wide plain of Montélimar passing through the Drôme valley or the banks of the Roubion will delight all lovers of space and beauty. wild.
In addition, the mild climate and the purity of the air are conducive to physical activity and sleep.
Our 3 lodgings are very pleasant to live in, spacious and each of them is comfortably equipped (silent dishwasher, 4-ring gas hob, fridge with freezer, microwave and mini oven, wifi and bluetooth speaker).
They surround a main house occupied by the owners.
Each cottage is completely independent and has an independent entrance and a terrace or private outdoor area.
You can also rent the 3 lodgings at the same time and profit, with several families and up to 21 people, of a stay on the same place of life while preserving a real independence.
Together ... and free!
Nearly 2,000 m² of shared garden is available.
The sunshine is exceptional but the temperatures remain reasonable even in summer.
Spring and fall offer equally spectacularly beautiful days ...
Each cottage has an ideal orientation to the South.
They are also particularly well protected from the wind which sometimes blows in the region.
The gîtes de la Colline are located 2 km from the center of Pont de Barret, in an extremely unspoiled natural environment.
The mountains (980 meters above sea level for the highest mountain of Serre Gros) are very close.
Shops are nearby, at Pont de Barret (bakery, restaurants, market), la Bégude de Mazenc (supermarket and other amenities) or in the other surrounding villages.
Located in the middle of nature, in the middle of the fields, the property is close to a multitude of outdoor activities, for all ages and all areas of interest:
