Beautiful house, spacious, inserted in a condominium of 10 villas, with garden of 3000m, with 3 bedrooms near Ericeira. The house is located in the Sit Beach (10 minutes from Ericeira). The house sleeps 6 people. Surely you'll love the idyllic location of the house. The house is very well located; modern, very nice and well decorated. The house has 3 separate bedrooms, 3 bathrooms of which one with bath and the other with shower has a great swimming pool. The living room has cable TV, Internet and a dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is also a terrace of 20 square meters with barbecue, overlooking the sea with table and chairs for dining. Nearby you will find several cafes, many restaurants and a supermarket. If you like to surf, this is the ideal home for you. It has some of the best beaches to practice Surf. The West Region is a region with a very mild and pleasant climate. Given the proximity of Lisbon, Sintra, Mafra, Sta Cruz and Obidos among others, it has been much sought after in recent years either by Portuguese tourists or by foreigners. This house is very close to the stage known worldwide for its famous beaches for surfing, as the Praia dos Coxos, Ribeira D'Ilhas, S. Beach Lourenço. Gastronomy is one of the strengths of this area known for its excellent seafood and fresh fish. 30 km from the largest MUSEUM OUTDOOR DINOSAURS, located in Lourinhã. We really enjoyed the house of Lidia. It is situated in a very quiet village on the beautiful coast of Portugal. We enjoyed the kitchen and Barbecue very much. The house is spacious and clean. And you gotta love the tennis table!

Family holiday in August 2023

We stayed at the villa for 4 days on August 2023 after a very hot 4 days in Lisbon. The cooler temperatures at the coast were welcome. The villa was very comfortable and large, and the pool was great. There is not much else in Assenta, but there is a small supermarket in Charneca, which is only a few km away, and much larger supermarkets in Silveria and Ericeria. Ericeria is very nice, with lots of restaurants around the square and a good vibe. There is also market, but we did not manage to visit, and music events in the park every few nights. There are lots of beaches in the area, and we enjoyed afternoons at both Calada and Sau Lourenco, which are only a few km from the villa. We also had a day trip to Sinta, which was about an hours drive.

Superbe appartement au calme avec vue mer et piscine incroyable

Très agréable séjour dans cette petite résidence au calme, presque au bout du monde avant la mer ! Dans une résidence très bien entretenue, piscine très agréable, rue calme (sauf quelques chiens …), Le logement est comme si on était chez soi avec beaucoup de choses dans la cuisine , une salle de jeux / garage pour les jeunes , terrasse très agréable pour les repas , la propriétaire bien que pas sur place a été très arrangeante et plein de conseil. Un seul bémol, l’humidité probablement car le logement n’est pas assez ouvert ; de ce fait odeur dans les placards . Mais le séjour nous a vraiment plu avec proximité de plein de sites du centre de Lisbonne a Nazare .

Beautiful setting

This house is beautiful and spacious. It is much better than the photos present. Well equipped with everything you could possibly ask for on a holiday, it also sits in a peaceful location with great view for sunset. Our hosts were very welcoming and responded right away to our messages. Joao speaks excellent English, which makes everything so easy for a foreign holiday. Would definitely recommend.

A great seaside escape in the countryside...

This townhouse was very spacious and allowed myself and adult son/daughter to hang out and have our own areas. The downstairs game room was a perk that we did not use as we were out most of the days exploring, castles, lighthouses, Ericeira, and beaches. Pool would have been fun to use, but temps were just a little too chilly for us. Excellent seafood restaurants in the immediate area...and highly recommend one walks/drives down to the waterfront restaurant located one road over....beautiful sunsets in a tiny little fishing bay. Only complaint was the choir of dogs barking at night located in the surrounding neighborhood....but we were out in the country so expected...we slept well anyways..

Roomy townhouse near cliffs

We booked this place when the owners of another place in Lourinha canceled our reservation last minute. This is an townhouse end unit on the end of the building away from the sea. Views were from the outside terraces. We were there late September so did not use the pool. I believe that Portuguese holidays end around mid-September which explains why it was very, very quiet in the little village of Assenta. This is by Assenta south "beach" (cliffs) away from the village by a short walk and backing up to farm fields. Very beautiful to walk around the cliff area. The unit is not luxury, but rather home-like, and feels like someone lives there normally. Basic kitchen, tile floors on ground floor and wood floors upstairs in the bedrooms which helped make it feel more cozy upstairs. There is a cute town north of this area called Santa Cruz and of course, Ericeira is south by about 20-25 minutes. We spent every day away from Assenta. One unfortunate thing is that it felt very damp in the unit and there were many many "air fresheners" which emit synthetic scents to cover up some mildewy smell. I am sensitive to these so that was uncomfortable. I don't know if it is more dry at other times, but we spent a month in Portugal staying in various areas from another coastal place to a place in the interior to Lisbon, and we did not experience this elsewhere. We have heard that this is common and mostly due to certain types of construction. Lydia's son spoke beautiful English (thankfully) and was more than accommodating and helped us with everything - lovely. I highly recommend the hosts.

Lovely Landscape and nice house

It is a kind of town house within a block of approx. 10 houses. Most of the time we were alone and no one else was there. There are various lovely beaches around and you need a car. The house itself was perfect for our need.

Pour nous c était l emplacement dans un petit bourg supermarché à 10 min de voiture. Appartement très spacieux et propre. Piscine idéale pour les enfants. Nous avons passé de super vacances.

Heerlijk ruime vakantiewoning met zwembad gelegen op 15 min rijden van Ericeira!

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gevierd in deze vakantiewoning. De woning is zeer ruim en voorzien van alle faciliteiten. Gelegen in Assenta, vlakbij Ericeira, vier je een heerlijke vakantie aan de kust en geniet je optimaal van de rust van de omgeving van het huis. Het huis heeft drie slaap- en badkamers, een compleet ingerichte keuken en een heerlijk terras - met BBQ - van waar je zo de tuin met zwembad inloopt. Vanaf het terras en het zwembad heb je een fantastisch uitzicht op de oceaan. Fantastisch al de zon hierop schijnt! De woning is in werkelijkheid mooier dan de foto’s doen geloven! Een heerlijke woning voor een top vakantie in de regio van Ericeira. Alle winkels zijn op loop/rijd afstand, maar een auto is wel een must. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep perfect. Altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Complimenten. Een aanrader!

Absolute gem of a place

We were two families (2 adults, 4 children) staying while our sons played in the European championships at rink hockey. The villa was beautifully clean with everything you could possibly need. The games room is a fabulous addition and the pool is wonderful. The views are gorgeous and the surrounding area is very friendly with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Lydia was a perfect host with great communication and she also kindly arranged our transfers and driver for the week (who was also amazing) . Thank you so much Lydia x

Maison agreable et bien équipée

Lidia est 1 hôtesse attentionnée envers ses hotes, sa maison est vaste et tres équipée ( lave linge lave vaiselle four micro onde barbeQ seche cheveu lit bébé, baignoire a remou,, tv ping pong fléchettes, chaises longues, 3 salle de bain 3 chambres. Great base for exploring the local surf spots

The pictures don’t do it justice, it was better than we expected a proper home from home. We had a great welcoming and were surprised to find a basement come games room with a selection of wines which we could from and the prices for them were reasonable. The location was very peaceful and was a great a base from which we could explore the local surf spots. Ericeira was only 10 minutes away by car and the local restaurants were great with some of best fish we’ve eaten All in all a great holiday and well worth a visit
