About this property

Stoney Hollow Farm Cabin

Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life there is a cabin, bordered on two sides by rushing creeks, and situated in the middle of a working, family-owned, organic fruit and vegetable farm. Disconnected from the internet, it's the perfect place for adults to enjoy a digital detox and the perfect opportunity to commune with nature and each other. The house is furnished with antiques, most of which are available for purchase. From the covered wrap-around porch you can enjoy your coffee while watching the farm come to life each morning, relax while the afternoon sun glistens on the pond, or take in a night cap while listening to the sounds of cicadas, crickets and the creek. Stroll the farm, shop in the farm store for fresh veggies, local gourmet foods, and food related antiques. When you're ready to venture out you'll find miles and miles of hiking, streams teaming with trout, beautiful Lake Santeetlah, several up-scale dining options with great views, and all kinds of local artisans making everything from cheese, honey and eggs to pottery, carving and weaving. Nearby, you can explore the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, ride the Tail of the Dragon, visit the Biltmore, explore the local food scene, or try a few of the local breweries in Asheville, learn more about Cherokee history at the Oconoluftee Indian Village, peruse the outlet shops in Pigeon Forge, and much, much more! Western North Carolina is a beautiful and diverse region with something for everyone! So book your cabin, take a deep breath, and prepare to fill your senses with all our mountains have to offer. Each season brings its own bounty and there is always something to do. (Please note that we do not allow children or pets.)
