About this property

The Coach House circa 1755

Never before offered!

Hidden close to the Battery in Charleston's Old Historic District is a unique accommodation... a remnant of an earlier era where horses and coachmen were tucked away behind grand Southern homes.

Come experience the luxury of having your own private quarters, reclaimed from a historic 1755 coach house. Centered in Charelston's South of Broad neighborhood you are one block from the famous Charleston White Point Gardens, also known as "The Battery", where you can stroll along the scenic waterfront. Walk to special events, art galleries, Rainbow Row, cobblestone streets, the Four Corners of Law and countless beautiful old churches that make Charleston truly a Holy City.

This two-story one bedroom residence includes a full kitchen, comfortable sitting room, library, and bath with laundry. This perfect setting for your leisurely stay allows you the option to prepare your own meals, or to enjoy the many nearby world-class restaurants of Charleston.

Wonderful stay. Anna and George are the best! Stayed for seven weeks and only had to take the truck out once a week for groceries. Walk to everything.. Great Charleston experience.

Amazing location, better property managers
Serene, historic, beautiful home in the heart of the Holy City. Don’t pass this place up if you’re looking to experience Charleston at its core. George and Anna couldn’t have been more welcoming and I was truly sad to have to say goodbye. To whomever is reading this, may your stay be as wonderful as mine was. Sincerely, Happy Renter
