We had a great experience. The property manager was extremely communicative. The apartment has great character. Shops, dining, historical landmarks were all within walking distance.
We stayed here for a long weekend while enjoying the area and moving our daughter into the dorm. Fantastic location, and easy to walk to coffee, shops, restaurant, CofC campus. Paul was easy to communicate with. Classic Charleston house. We would stay again!
We had a great stay at 1850s Charleston Treasure; The location was amazing; very clean; Paul was wonderful to work with and so helpful; we were able to walk to all of the great places in downtown Charleston; Paul left suggestions/tips for places to eat and visit; it was a wonderful experience
The house was clean and homey. Paul and his wife were helpful and ready to answer any questions. We loved that it was within walking distance of everything.
We had a wonderful stay. The hosts were very friendly. They answered all of our questions. Loved the private parking. Close to walking distance to King Street and the Marketplace. We will definitely stay here again.

Owners were super helpful & friendly. Plenty of space & a great location! Highly recommend!
My friends and I had a great stay at this VRBO! The home was clean, well-stocked with all the essentials, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The location was also perfect—just a short drive or walk to downtown, which made exploring the area super convenient. I really appreciated how easy and smooth the whole experience was. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Our visit to Charleston was amazing and we had a wonderful time. Our hosts Paul and Anna were the absolute best and I highly recommend them. If we ever make it back to Charleston we will be staying here again. I wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was decorated so cute and the beds were extremely comfortable. We give our hosts 5 stars out of 5. Thanks for everything!!
This was a great location as far as getting to walk everywhere. If we hadn’t wanted to go to Magnolia plantation we wouldn’t have even needed a car. Paul was VERY fast at responding to my messages and the bedroom was much larger than it appeared online. We were very comfortable there and thanks to the rain spent more time there that we had planned. Kitchen could have been better equipped but we only ate breakfast there so it wasn’t a big deal. I would definitely stay there again. Very comfortable and host was excellent!
Paul and Anne were great hosts, and the property is charming, extremely clean and well maintained. The location is great. A quick to the Quarter but far enough outside of it to have quiet.
Once you park your car, there's no need for it until departure. The location is perfect for walking to area restaurants, shops and attractions. Paul and Anna are very friendly and willing to help with anything needed.
Historic and comfy - this was within walking distance to all the key areas of Charleston we wanted to see. Good communication from our hosts made everything easy and clear. Great restaurants and coffee nearby
Property is located just a short 7 minute walk to King Street restaurants and shops. Parking on sight and no need for your car. Everything is within walking distance.
