COZY Merlot Cabin- Great family cabin in Hocking Hills, centrally located.

X Beautiful family cabin surrounded by a white pine grove that sleeps up to 8 people with 3 queen beds-- one on the main and lower level, and 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed in the loft. Well appointed, fully-equipped kitchen and a cozy gas-burning fireplace in the spacious living room. There's also a rec room downstairs with a pool table and Pac man to enjoy. Free WiFi!

After grilling out on the huge wrap-around deck with the propane grill, enjoy the beautiful surroundings a new, relaxing hot tub on the covered deck. Maybe even enjoy a roaring campfire at the outdoor fire ring.

To make your stay worry-free, all linens and towels are provided. All you need to bring are your personal items and food for a great time!

The Merlot experience

What a wonderful time for our family. We booked last minute to get away for Memorial Day Weekend. The cabin was perfect in every way. We loved the hot tub, having fires out back, playing inside and outside the property, taking walks down to the creek and more. We already can’t wait to come back!

Girls Trip

This cabin was above and beyond everything we could dream of. We had such a relaxing 4 days between the three of us friends and especially the hot tub every evening before closing in for the night. The place was spotless and very accommodating. We will definitely be making this a yearly visit.

Perfect size for our group

Cabin was a great size with good bedrooms, bathrooms and nice size common areas. The basement was a great hang out space for all. The fire pit with seating was nice too. The only small negative was the location as it was right off the main road and the traffic was somewhat noisy during the day, but that was not a deterrent. We would stay here again.

Girls Fall Getaway!

Perfect place for a girls getaway! We enjoyed hiking at Old Mans Cave and Rock House and some R & R with a cozy fire in the fireplace. After our hikes we got in the hot tub, and got out feeling relaxed and pampered! The 3 levels gave us all our own space when we wanted to chill out and have some alone time to unwind. We will definitely come back here - it was my favorite HH cabin and I have been coming for more than 20 years!

Spectacular/Worth every penny!!

If we could give this property 10 stars we would. The home is absolutely beautiful! We felt like we were at home. It’s well taken care of, has great amenities, and very well stocked with the essentials. The location is perfect and easily accessible to all the caves and Hocking Hills State Park. The owners were excellent with communicating and very responsive to anything we needed. They went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stayed. We definitely will be back!!

Much needed & overdue vacation this yr. I've had this cabin info saved for some time. This vacation was the time yo reserve it. We needed yard space for the kiddos but private enough that we could enjoy nature. The oldest grand asked the night before leaving why we just couldn't buy the place & stay. Morning of departure he cried & half way home he announced he wanted to live in OH. Now he wants dad to build a log cabin. The Merlot is the cleanest csbin we've stayed in the 7 yrs weve been visiting. Bathrooms on every floor level was very convenient for the kids. The illuminated deck at night was cool & the fan during those 100+ degree days allowed one to be comfortable outside. We picked wild black raspberries & made homemade ice cream too. Can't wait for a return visit.

This is our second stay at the Merlot in six months… We are in love with this cabin. Our kids love to play in the hot tub and the awesome basement. It is always so clean and we can’t get enough of it. Its proximity to everything Hocking Hills has to offer is wonderful. We also highly recommend trying the Laurelville pizza at the little shop in the town Square not far away. We will be back again soon.

Spring Break Hiking Trip

We loved everything about our stay at the Merlot! The property was only about 15-20 minutes from hikes, very clean and cozy, our kids loved all the outdoor space and hot tub! Kate responded very quickly and was so kind. We will definitely stay here again!

Family Weekend

Great cabin and location. Had a great time with my adult children and grandchild. Hot tub and fire ring real winners. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, bathrooms were clean, overall great stay. Will stay here again
