The main villa is divided into a north and a south wing. The north wing has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the first floor, with the main living room, dining room and modern kitchen on the ground floor.
The southern wing has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a large living room with a wood fireplace, and an extra kitchen. In the center of the borgo's garden, the swimming pool — reserved exclusively for guests of Borgo Castelrotto — has a unique view of the valley overlooking the estate's olive grove.
A guest house full of charm completes the borgo, with the upper floor designed as a loft with a master bedroom and bathroom, and on the ground floor a living room with a stone and brick fireplace, a kitchen, and a double bedroom with bathroom enjoying a special view of the olive grove and pool.
An in-villa dining service or a self-made barbecue night can be the perfect end of the day, enjoyed with an aperitivo and a glass of Fiamma Rosé. Table tennis and bocce are also available for evening enjoyment.
The entire farm upholds organic agricultural methods, from the 4 hectares of planted vineyards and cereal and grain production to the D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil. The primary objective at Castelnuovo Tancredi is to keep pace with the times, while protecting the flavor and tradition of the past in all its aspects.

About the host
Hosted by Violante Venturini Del Greco
My great great grandfather purchased this property in the early 1900's and it has been in the family since. We manage it ourselves and take care not only of the hospitality aspect, where the farmhouses in the hamlet are, but also the wine estate and the farm.
We strive to maintain the true flavor of Tuscany and want you to experience the best and the real aspects of this amazing part of the region. This should be your home away from home and we will try to do everything to make your stay with us as memorable as possibile. On the estate, which encompasses over 600 hectares of this territory, we grow grapes for our organic wine production, organic cereals such as wheat, alfalfa and barley, and maintain the animal reserve where we have reeboks, pheasants, jack rabbits and wild boar.
Why they chose this property
FOR ITS LEISURE AND LANDMARKS Villa Castelrotto is surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Orcia Valley in this still quite unknown area of Tuscany, where you can visit typical old towns and villages as well as famous monuments, or practice many sports and leisure activities. We will be happy to assist you with information and directions to make your stay with us more enjoyable. Here are a few suggestions to enjoy your holiday in Tuscany: For those who love sport and adventures, between Siena and the Chianti area, in the beautiful Val D’Orcia or near Mount Amiata, there are Horse-riding schools and centers, Hot-air balloons, Mountain bike itineraries with a wine tasting included, some of them are particularly known among lovers of this sport, such as “L’Eroica”, a tour along the track of the famous vintage bicycle competition, held in October every year. For those who seek tranquility and relax, or love the contemplation and spirituality plunged in the inspiring Tuscan environment, we suggest these activities: Trekking on the antique Franciscan way, Visit the town of Pienza and take a trip to the magic atmosphere of Italian Renaissance, Easy day excursions to Montalcino, and other hilltop towns of Tuscany, or even enjoy a round of Golf at the Royal Golf Bagnaia Resort nearby.
What makes this property unique
Annabelle Moseley says it so perfectly in "A Tuscan Countryside": "Drive as a passenger through Tuscany, and even if you squint or fall asleep, but catch brief glances, through curtained blinks, still you will see rows of green and cream-yellow fields, vineyards, grey crooked branches pointing to the soil like rows of gnarled , arthritic fingers poised above piano keys. You'll catch the green guard of cypress trees, thin as pipe cleaners, straight as hard-backed chairs. Farmhouses, roofed in rust and terra-cotta, bodied in hazel hues, paths that meander through the fields like sienna colored snakes among the wheat fields and olive groves.Hills will always interrupt the valleys-bends will surprise roads, and even in winter, fields are crowded with the sleep of sunflowers waiting for August!"
This will be your absolute favorite vacation of all, and we guarantee that you won't want to leave!
