This fully furnished retreat accommodates up to 16 guests with ease, featuring four private bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the main level and 2 additional bedrooms on the lower level. The heart of the home is a large, open-concept kitchen and dining area, complete with seating for 24—a perfect space for shared meals and memories. Perfect girls weekend apot

The place was huge, and exceptionally clean! The layout of this house suited our group perfectly. We loved all the tables for game playing and we finally found a place that we each had our own bed. We will be back again next year.

A great weekend with extended family!

This was the perfect place for our extended family to stay together during the weekend of our cousin's wedding (which was in Holland). There was plenty of space for everyone, and the house was well stocked with all of the materials we needed for a comfortable stay. We'd love to come back for a family reunion sometime!

Only minor thing's like one bulb out of 2 on ceiling in one bedroom with only queen bed on east corner of the house was burnt out or was not turning ON. Same with one bulb in hallway. Otherwise everything was excellent. Definitely recommend others.

It was a wonderful week at Into The Woods. We had plenty of room, comfortable beds and probably the cleanest VRBO I've rented. Surroundings were varied with a river, paths in the woods, a couple beaches a short drive away, golf courses near. If you have a crowd I highly recommend!

Perfect retreat space!

The property was perfect for our retreat before our mission trip. There was more than enough room for our group. And the view of the river is beautiful. And bonus, the beach at lake Michigan was just 5min away. Loved the kitchen and our ability to eat our meals together as one group. Perfect space for any retreat!

What a wonderful home!

We were a group of 9 gal pals who have been VRBOing for many years now. We graduated together many many years ago. So having most of the beds on the main floor was such a great help. So large and the deck was fantastic! The kitchen was one of the best stocked we’ve seen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a large group of ladies. We ate, played games, crafted, listened to a speaker and rested (a little). This was perfect for each activity and met our needs in every way. Awesome family reunion space

There was so much open space for the children to play, including a large balcony and a fenced backyard, plus lots of indoor space. Sleeping areas were separated well from the main living area so younger children could sleep. Everyone had plenty of space for their own family units but lots of great common space for playing games, making s’more’s over the fire pit and so on. Everyone loved it! We will definitely be back!

Great place!

This was our third time staying for our annual girls weekend. The home is phenomenal. Space for everybody, enough beds, bathrooms, dining space, outdoor space. Did I say space??!! I’m really emphasizing that because we’ve had as much as I believe 22 women to less than 10 and always had enough room for all and then some. Meredith is responsive and we had absolutely no problems at any of our stays. The home is always clean and absolutely fit our needs. I don’t doubt for a moment, we will be back again.

4th time is a charm!

Our fourth summer retreat/Campout for women from our church and beyond. 20 of us gather every summer, the last four years at this house. It’s perfect for 20 women. We love how spacious it is—the twin beds, the fully stocked kitchen, the spacious living room and dining room area. It is close to Lake Michigan and several other public, private and county beaches. And Grand Haven and Saugatuck are close by for those who want to shop! Or Window shop! we would like to reserve this spot for the next 10 years.

Clean and spacious. It’s nice to have a bed for everyone without bunks! One of the stoves, the mini beverage fridge and the island outlets were not working. That made food prep for such a large group a challenge. The fire pit also didn’t work. But we really enjoyed the setting!

Perfect for us!

18-20 women, ranging in age from 50-80 years old. We appreciate the level open floor plan, with our portable ramp we can get our wheelchair bound friend into the house. The basement is great for crafts, it is cooler down there. The kitchen is well supplied with everything you could probably need. Beds are reasonably comfortable. Many games, puzzles, extra blankets are all available to use. We have been here twice and plan to return next summer in 2024.

Great secluded location with an awesome proximity to things to do and places to eat.

Our group loved this place. A beautiful view of the river with access if you want to put a boat in. The restaurant at the end of the driveway is really nice with some good food. We will definitely be back!

Perfect for our group

This place was perfect for our group which included a woman who needed wheelchair access. With everything on the first floor in the open floor plan she was able to move around quite well. The rest of us spread out through the house and we never felt like we were crowded and conversations could be held without feeling like they were interfering with somebody else’s conversation. The kitchen was awesome fully equipped. The dining area roomy enough for all of us to sit around tables. The location was ideal for excursions to Holland and Saugatuck. And we enjoyed Windsnest beach very much. We plan to come back as we have been doing this as an annual gathering for 20 or more years. And this year we were up to 20 women. We all agreed that this was a wonderful meeting place and it would be absolutely perfect if it were right on Lake Michigan! However we then could not afford it.

Great for large groups

Ammenities provided are plentiful, numerous pots and pans, dishes, electrical appliances, lots of room for active children and space for adults to spread out. Decor very nice, bedrooms very comfortable except for ceiling fans that don't work. Back patio a nice morning gathering place for coffee and discussing plans for the day with plenty of seating. Exterior landscaping can use some work but overall a great place for a large group or family. Very close to Holland and Grand Haven for sightseeing or beaches.
