8 bedroom, 4.5 Bath Lake Front Home with Boathouse. Sleeps 18

Our home sits in a large, quiet cove just 100 yards off the Main Lake. With over 160' of decked bulk headed waterfront, a double boat house with fish cleaning station and sunning dock. You have everything you need to enjoy the sun and fun outdoors including 2 kayaks, a paddle board, fishing poles and built in rod holder at the dock. Feel free to park your boat beside our boat house or inquire about our pontoon rental. The water at the dock is perfect for swimming, floating, and relaxing. Water level gradually deepens from 1-2 feet at the edge up to 4-5 foot water depth at the end of the dock, perfect for the little ones to play and learn to swim. We are ten minutes from the Food Lion & other amenities. It is a quick boat ride to the restaurants, marinas, Goat Island and the Eaton Ferry Bridge where the sunset views are amazing!
The summertime offers many activities in local towns such as movie nights and free concerts on the weekends in Littleton. This little town has a lot to offer with lots of small restaurants and businesses to check out!

The house offers a large yard in both the front and rear, perfect for outdoor games and evening bonfires in the fire pit (firewood is not provided). There is a large covered porch with plenty of seating that offers beautiful views, a TV and has a full outdoor bathroom on the lake side of the home. There's even a small seasonal herb garden to enjoy!
The first floor hosts the livingroom/dining area with seating for up to 20 people, as well as 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a half bath. The first bedroom is a queen with a half bath and the second bedroom has a king sized bed. There are 6 bedrooms on the second floor with 4 king beds, 4 twins and 1 double bed. All of the bedrooms have smart TV's. The game room is located on second floor which provides a Foosball table and Playstation 3 with games. There are also 2 additional full bathrooms upstairs. Wi-Fi and Cable services throughout. 70” TV in living room, 55” TV in other living area.

One could not ask for a better host or better property for a lake vacation. The house is immaculate and stocked with every need you could anticipate met with top notch quality. Post-graduation Family Reunion

We had a great time at the lake! There were 18 of us ranging in age from 7 months to 79 years. We did it all... swam, kayaked, paddle-boarded, lake tours on pontoon boat. On rainy days foosball tournaments, movies. S'mores. Lots of talking on porch! Loved it!

Another great visit

This is the second year in a row my group of 8 adult friends have stayed at this property. The layout of the house makes for an extremely comfortable visit. Everything is as advertised ….clean, fully stocked and ready to use. We especially appreciate the extra large refrigerator and two different types of outdoor grills. We are already looking forward to our return visit!

This is a great place for a family get together. Plenty of space to gather together. Also, plenty of space if you want some time to yourself. We have already decided that we will stay there again next year for our get together. Awesome Family Vacation

A great place for having fun and making family memories. From our 3 year old granddaughter to my 80 year old sister,everyone had a wonderful time. Everything needed for cooking meals was in the kitchen. The property was exactly as described. Hope to stay again.

Family Thanksgiving

We just spent a wonderful family Thanksgiving week at this amazing house. The place is so spacious with beautiful decor and a peaceful view. Our grandkids loved all of the outdoor amenities. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. I can honestly say this was the best home we have ever rented at Lake Gaston. And I I can’t say enough about the hosts. They were so accommodating and responded immediately with all our questions. Highly recommend this place.

Frost family vacation.

Really awesome. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids ages 5-11. We loved the location in the cove, the kids were able to enjoy the kayak’s, paddle boards, swimming, and fishing off the dock. My daughter caught an 11.5 catfish. Alan was amazing and very punctual with responding to my questions. We can’t wait to come back again.

What a great week. We've been staying at Gaston and other lakes for about 11 years now and this was probably our favorite house. (OK, maybe a top deck to jump off of would have been the cherry on top but beggars can't be choosers). Great space, kitchen well stocked, tons of place to store things - no downside AT ALL to this property.

Family Time

We all enjoyed this house. It had everything you wanted (spices, ice maker, every kitchen appliance you can imagine) Bedrooms were clean, cool and a breathtaking view. The Lake was perfect for the little kids as well as the adults. Plenty of boats and floating devices for the family. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Plenty of bathrooms and linens for all of us, the laundry room is beautiful as well. I used Sand Dollar Seaplane to take my granddaughters on their first plane ride and they loved it. Steve the pilot picked us up from our dock. This place was AMAZING

We loved the lake and the house!

This was everything we thought it would be and more. We loved the house and quickly saw it would be perfect for a future gathering of the entire family! We loved that there was plenty to do with the kayaks, paddle board and paddle boats as well as floats to just enjoy the water. We fished, swam, explored and just had the best week. Smores around the fire pit and the friendliest neighbors! Our dog swam for the 1st time and loved the lake as much as we did! We are already planning our next trip back! The owners are the best and they cared about our family! We can't wait to go back!

Wonderful House

Had a wonderful time. House is great; fit our large group of 14 very well. New kitchen with 2 refrigerators, large pantry, separate ice machine and very well equipped. Dining table seats 20 and is great. Lake was wonderful. One side of boat house is dedicated to fishing, the other has a dock the kids loved jumping off while the adults floated as well as a seating area. Swim shoes are a must for the shallow area. Pontoon boat was a great add-on. Would highly recommend this house. Owner was also great to deal with.

Amazing property!

2 families vacationing for 3 years together on Lake Gaston, different house each year and THIS is the winning house! We will be coming back again in 2024. Well-stocked and updated Kitchen (with granite countertops you’ll covet!), ample living area and large TV for movie nights. Enough beds, bedrooms, and bathrooms, and ALL are tastefully decorated and comfortable. Large dock area for hanging out and swimming. Very nice fire pit next to lake area with plenty of seating. And Veranda for morning coffees also with plenty of seating. It was a delightful stay. The owner, Alan, was very helpful and incredibly responsive. Unanimous 5-Star stay from 10 adults, which is rare.

Perfect!

Every year at the end of May our family gathers for a week long vacation. Normally we go to the NC beaches. To appease my husband, who grew up going to lakes in Michigan, we decided to skip the ocean and choose a lake instead. It was our first time vacationing at Lake Gaston. The house itself was perfect for our large group — comfortable beds, large dining area and a fully stocked kitchen. The back porch is awesome and comes in handy on rainy days. We also enjoyed spending evenings around the fire pit. The kids absolutely loved playing in the lake! The paddle board and kayaks were a big hit and we enjoyed the pontoon rides as well. Kayaking to Goat Island was one of the highlights, especially for the younger boys who imagined they were off to hunt for hidden pirate booty! We had no issues communicating with Alan, the owner. He is very pleasant and prompt with answers to questions. Wouldn’t hesitate returning to this beautiful lake!

Perfect for large family gatherings. We were able to get all our kids and their families together for the first time in 3 years. The house is smartly decorated, with not many knick-knacks for the little ones to get into. We had 2 toddlers, and the most "trouble" they got into was the tupperware. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen has everything you would need. Market, liquor store, Family Dollar, and gas station are within 10 mins. Perfect spot to spend a week doing absolutely nothing but relaxing on the water. We rented the boat, went out a few times a day, and there are great places to stop and swim on the main Lake. With this being on a cove it great, you don't get the large waves from the traffic on the other side. The only suggestion would be to bring water shoes. Some "littles" may not like the feeling of the sand and shells on their feet. Highlights of the week: a birthday for the two 2-year-olds, an engagement, my granddaughter caught her first fish, boating and swimming in the lake, paddleboarding and kayaking. It was so great to be able to relax and enjoy family time. This was a great week.

Amazing vacation

Over the past 4 years my wife and other family and friends have vacationed in the Outter Banks this year we wanted to do something new by coming to lake Gaston and it was the perfect vacation a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings if you have a love for the water and outdoors lake Gaston is the place to be between the kayaks and paddleboat and long board we couldn't stay away from the lake my wife and I had never been kayaking before we enjoyed it so much withing 24 hours of returning home we purchased two kayaks for ourselves I would like to send a special thank you Alan for his gracious hospitality and for allowing to call his home our home for a week we had planned on bringing our boat bus wasnt able to due to it being in the shop for repairs Alan allowed us to rent his pontoon so we could still enjoy the lake this was an amazing experience and we loved every moment of it so much that we have booked again for 2022 and are very excited to go back thanks again Alan for all you did we cant wait to come back

Extended Family Christmas Week Gathering

Our family truly enjoyed their stay at this gorgeous property. All the pics were accurate in reflecting the well-kept condition of this home. The amenities offered were perfect for our needs as a family of 17. It was equipped with everything that was advertised in it's description including free wi fi that provided high speed internet that satisfied the both the younger generation & the remote workers of the group that needed to login. The kitchen & dining took a licking by our family of "Eaters", but kept on ticking. The fully stocked kitchen provided everything you needed & more to serve our large group & the dining allowed all 17 of us (seats 20) to enjoy each meal together as a family. We used the dining for games & long reminiscent conversations as well. The host, Alan was johnny-on-the-spot with an appliance issue we had. He answered my text within 2 minutes (even late in the night) & once the problem was confirmed, he replaced it within 6 hours. Each bedroom was equipped with a smart tv that provided an opportunity for moments of recluse when desired or evening movie/television while decompressing for the day. The firepit out back was my absolute favorite. Next to the tranquil water, this area allowed us to sip hot cocoa or coffee & chit-chat for hours around a cozy fire talking about what's going on in each others lives, what's on our minds & our plans for the near future. ----Magnificent Place !!

Perfect for our friends

I can say all the usual nice things about the property. It was clean with lots of natural light. The kitchen was easy to work in and nicely laid out with all of the tools and utensils we could hope for. The back porch had plenty of seating and cushions and a lovely view of the water. Truly a beautiful property and the hosts were easy to get in contact with if we had needed. I tend to point out disability access in my reviews because our friend group has different levels of mobility. There were no stairs at all to get into the property, the front porch is flush with the driveway and the threshold of the front door. There are some minor surface changes on the first floor, but not too bad an easy to manage. You really wouldn't be able to use a wheelchair into any of the bathrooms, the one that would have enough space in it has a tricky little hallway to get to it, but if you could transfer using a couple wall supposted steps, you would probably be fine having a wheelchair user in this home. My only concern is that the beds are all fairly high up. Not in a weird way or anything, just on the higher end of normal and to the point where we have a couple of (short and/or mobility impaired) people who would consider bringing a small step stool or something for next time. One of them just stepped up onto her hard shell suitcase this time to get on and off her bed. We loved the property and would recommend it to anyone who was considering the area

Merry Christmas 2022

This property was nothing less than amazing. The homeowner was the best I have ever encountered. He responds promptly, he was very attentive and accommodating the entire stay, his home was prepared with Xmas decorations and a tree. The home had a full kitchen of appliances, blankets, beds, cleaning supplies, etc. All I can say is this home met every expectation we had. If you have never stayed in this home you are missing out. My family and I will definitely be back to enjoy the summer festivities 2023 because we could not enjoy the outdoor activities and lake due to the weather. Thank you for having us

Fantastic time. Property is in a great location on the Lake. The owner is very responsive. Neighbors are great. Look forward to a return as our group of retired military get together one week a year to fish.
