Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise

Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise is a four bedroom/four bath vacation rental home located in the Village of Captiva on Chapin Lane, just 400 feet to the beach, with private beach access and recently completely updated. You are also within walking distance of shops and restaurants.
Your two-story elevated vacation home offers a screened porch newly upgraded, and dining area which is accessible from the main level. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless appliances, 5 flat screen TVs, 4 DVD players, CD player, fax/copy/printer, beach towels, washer/dryer, garage and free wi-fi.
The home includes two private masters, with one completely private located on the second floor. The ensuite has a separate walk-in shower and jetted tub. The second master is located on the main level, with walk-in shower, separate his and her vanities, and plenty of storage. Third bedroom features two full beds, with an adjoining full bath with walk-in shower.
Lower level offers, pingpong table, pool table, refrigerator, bar, seating area, flat screen TV, private bedroom with two twin beds, private bath with walk-in shower. You do have to exit the main home and access the lower level and pool by a back stairway.
The open pool area and patio features plenty of open space and privacy. Lounge chairs and patio furniture offer plenty of seating area for you and guest along with a patio table and chairs. Relax after a long day at the Beach in the private heated pool or the connected hot tub. There is a stainless steel gas grill located just off the pool, to enjoy cooking your meal if you choose to grill outside during your stay.
The pool can be isolated from the patio by a portable child safety fence located in the outside pool storage area for security for young children.
The great feature of this home is that it is within walking distance of everything you enjoy while you are in Captiva.
The home features new furniture and fixtures. A weekly minimum applies. The home will accommodate 10 guest. The home is only available for Saturday to Saturday Stays.

Paradise That Feels Like Home

This property was perfect for our family vacation. The house is very well stocked including chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The pool was refreshing after getting back from the beach and the grill was perfect for making a family dinner. The pool and ping pong table were perfect for late night fun. We will definitely be back.

We made many wonderful memories staying at Poppy’s Paradise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be back in a heartbeat. The house was clean and spacious. Our only complaint was the hot tub was the same temperature as the pool. Would recommend this home to any of our close friends or family!

Beautiful home and setting

Beautiful new furniture and fully stocked kitchen. All the bathrooms were new. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and our children came with us. We all love Captiva and haven’t been back for 8 years.Fishing trip, jet skis and ice cream. Every day on the beach.I found the 4th bedroom in the cabana a little disappointing. It was advertised accurately. But if 4 adult couples are staying it is less than ideal

Ready to be back

The house was just what we had expected- however we did miss the part of the one bedroom being downstairs off the main level. It is in the description so that’s on us. Our kids loved the pool and the short walk to the beach wasn’t bad at all. When I did need to reach out to Kevin regarding a propane tank he got it taken care of the same evening. Vacation 10 out of 10 :)

Great beach house

The 4 bedroom 4 bath property with pool and hot tub a few minutes walk to the beach was great for our family. This was the second year we rented. It is beautiful, well equipped house for a family vacation

Poppy’s Paradise is Perfection

My family absolutely loved the spacious, gracious, well thought out amenities of this beautiful property. The walk to the beach is easy and the walks to the grocery store and restaurants are quick as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Close to the beach!

Captiva Christmas Joy!

Ahh, Poppy’s Paradise was the perfect home for our family’s Captiva Christmas. The bottom floor set up was perfect for the teenagers and the sitting areas gave us ample space for relaxing. The kitchen was well stocked of kitchen items to cook a feast.

A Week in Paradise!

We had a wonderful experience renting Poppy’s Paradise! The location, the property, the pool and the amenities were perfect for our family. We were so pleased with such a beautiful home that perfectly suited our family vacation! There were 5 adults and 3 children, ages 5-10. The large living, dining, and kitchen area was the central gathering place, while the bedroom/bathroom areas provided just the right amount of privacy. Location to the beach and restaurants was great!

Quiet and fun

We had a great stay and the host was really good about answering a ton of questions we had prior. The home was in nice shape and had everything we needed for our stay, the pool and the beach. The pool was a nice size and the beach was a quick walk and suitable for young kids. Most shops, restaurants, etc are all in easy walking distance. Such a nice, quiet, hidden gem if you are looking to just relax in this secluded yet efficient area.

The home is within walking distance of everything you will love about Captiva. While close to everything, Chapin Lane is very quiet. The home is spacious with all the amenities that you want in a vacation home. Enjoy sitting on the screened porch, our relaxing by the pool. For the winter months, the heated pool is wonderful, and if you want to warm up, just jump in the spa that is attached to the pool. We hope you love our home as much as we do.

Our home is in the greatest location for relaxing. From the secluded pool and spa, to the privacy you'll enjoy from any adjoining neighbor. Also, you will enjoy the views of the fantastic landscaping and all the greenery. You'll always feel you're close to the outdoors because of all the glass in the home. From the expansive glass arched windows in the dining area, to the huge glass patio doors in the living area, the views are fantastic.
