This was a nice place for two of us to stay during our long weekend visit to the Asheville area. 15 minute drive to downtown; easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thank you, Will!

Quiet mountain get-away
A wonderful get-away! Only 15 minutes from downtown but quiet and peaceful with a lovely mountain view.
Extremely clean, quality place. Will was welcoming and helpful.
Very pleased with our choice.
DIdn't spend a lot of time there, except in the evenings, but it was perfect for our needs. It rained most of the time that we were there and one note is that the back deck you take to get to the property is VERY slippery/slimy when wet. Just be cautious...or give it a good power wash and it'll be safe.
I stayed for 3 weeks to attend a nearby seminar. Owner was so friendly and accommodating. It was so lovely to return each day to this place after I attending the seminar each day. I did a lot of squirrel watching - it was so healing to be in such a natural environment. The turtle light in the bedroom is kind of magical. Turn off the lights and turn on the turtle light for some nice ambiance!
Will was very friendly and attentive to our needs! Beautiful property up in the mountains! Nicely paved roads to get up there! Would definitely recommend this property! Thanks will for making our stay wonderful!
My husband and I really enjoyed our short stay here. Cute little spot with amazing views. We were in town for a concert and hotels in the area are so expensive so this so a nice alternative. Will was a friendly and attentive host. Great coffee selection!!! Thanks again, Will!!!
Ray was really accessible to all our needs and concerned that we had Eve we felt we needed. Rented guest room is like a one bedroom apartment with a porch to beautiful mountain setting
Its a cozy appartment. we had to carry all our luggage on this narrow muddy pathway to get to the doorway, also watch the deck , it has mossy spots that are quite slippery when wet.
No temperature controls. the home owner kept it too warm.
"Magic" certainly describes this property. It's in a forested area close to the mountain's top. Hanging out at night on the huge back deck, listening to owls hoot their hello, was almost as enjoyable as hiking the many outstanding trails in the greater Asheville area. The amazing Blue Ridge Parkway is about ten minutes from the home. The drive to Downtown is an easy twenty minutes. I suggest writing down your driving directions as cell phone coverage is spotty. Will is a great host. He is a super nice guy who obviously cares about his guests.
This property was tucked away in a quiet, wooded area which was perfect for my boyfriend and I! Will was awesome, very hospitable and the room was clean and comfortable! It was a great birthday weekend! :) thank you for everything!
Will is such a kind, gracious host. The property is clean and quiet. Nice place to go if you need some time with nature but still be close enough to meals and entertainment.
Host was super! Beautiful property. Great deck to have coffee and snack. Comfortable bed. Two recliners to relax in after exploring the city.

Not For Us!
This property is unsuitable for any guest who has health issues like heart, pulmonary, mobility. Parking is inadequate. The distance and terrain from unit to parking is dangerous. The location was difficult for access to Asheville attractions. We left after first night and forfeited our payment for the 4 nights.
Very positive but would have liked the property to have been in a less wooded area. Will was very helpful and was there if we needed anything. We just did not care for the lpcation but that was only us. Thanks Will.
My daughter and I truly enjoyed our stay. Will was a very gracious host!! He made us feel welcome and checked to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our accommodations were very clean and well stocked. I had forgotten my hairdryer but there was one there.
The movie selection is huge for any "down time" you may have.
We would definitely stay here again!!
Very nice lower-level w/ a deck 1-bdrm with living room and amenities (great keurig coffee, microwave; about 1500 movies to watch). A couple good plug-in heaters to take the chill off if it's chilly, and a caring owner upstairs to handle issues (we didn't have any).
The owner was the nicest person and so easy to deal with. The place was very clean. I was not aware it was so high up In the mountains. But the view and the place did not disappoint
This is a basement guest suite below the owner’s home with its own deck/entrance overlooking the woods. Very comfortable, clean, and private. The location is convenient to downtown Asheville and area hikes. Will was a great host making sure we found it ok and had what we needed.
