The house in the park of the Château d'Asnières en Bessin, is fully equipped for a stay with family or friends.
Bed linen is provided (beds made) as well as bathroom linen. The basic necessities. you have access to the castle park, the trampoline, table tennis table, garden table etc ...
4 bedrooms, a kitchen, living / dining room, TV, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, 2 WCs on 110 m2. Independently you will stay in a unique, wooded and peaceful setting.
You are close to all the historical monuments as well as the very beautiful city of Bayeux with its Cathedral and the tapestry. Many restaurants in the surrounding area, as well as dinner at the Château upon reservation.
The house is completely renovated.
We also offer the supply of childcare equipment (small bath, high chair and travel cot, etc.) as well as children's games (French) on request.

Fabulous Normandy chateau!

My family of four plus my wife’s parents spent a delightful 3 Days here. We stayed in the separate guest house adjacent to the main house. The property reminds me of an Irish “big house,” with a large lawn, working fountain out front, and spacious rooms. Carl and Sabine are absolutely fabulous! He instructed us where to purchase fresh fish from the local fishermen and had a charcoal grill available to cook them on. There is a trampoline, ping pong table, and an affable English setter to amuse the kids. We were there to see the D-DAY sites and Carl instructed us and presented a perfect 2-day itinerary. There is much to see and do - Rommel’s Atlantic Wall, Pointe du Hoc, both the American and beautifully understated German cemetery. Mont Ste Michelle is just 90 minutes away. After 11 Days baking in the heat of Provence, the temperatures (summer daytime highs in the low 80’s) seemed mild and absolutely perfect. We loved Normandy and this house and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Très bien placé pour découvrir les plages du débarquement et ses environs. Logement bien adapté pour 8. Malheureusement extérieur inexistant, mobilier de jardin HS, aucun jeux extérieur, contrairement à ce qui est indiqué sur l'annonce. Pas de rangement pour vélos

Madame, Nous avons étés ravis de vous recevoir. Cependant nous trouvons votre appréciation très dure. Vous avez accès a un parc de 2ha et à notre terrasse arrière de 250 m2, donc nous pensons qu'il y a assez d'espace. En ce qui concerne les jeux, il est précisé dans l'annonce que c'est sur demande, vous ne nous avez pas non plus demandé si nous avions un abris pour vos 8 vélos (dans ce cadre je vous conseillerais d'aller vers les locations spécialement réservées aux vélos, cela ce fait de plus en plus depuis que la véloroute a été construite). Les jeux extérieurs sont aussi sur demande, nous ne les laissons pas dehors. Non le mobilier n'est pas HS, certes nous devons changer les tables, elles ont été traités au mois de mai, mais comme vous l'avez vous même subit l'été "pourri" que nous avons eu n'a pas amélioré les choses. Nous espérons que la fin des vacances a été plus ensoleillé pour vous. Cordialement Sabine & Carl

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un endroit magnifique. L'accueil des propriétaires est excellent et il ne manque rien dans le gites. Très bonne literie. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter plages et musées.
