La Roca Studios is a 5-minute walk to La Chata beach in the Bravos de Boston neighborhood of Vieques. Located 10 minutes from the ferry and walkable to the main town of Isabel Segunda where you'll find great restaurants, a historic fort, and local art galleries.

"Studio A" (1 of 2 apartments in complex). Guests have the option of renting one studio or both studios. To rent both units: Prop ID 2255790

The two studios are identical in amenities, size, and layout. They both share an ocean view, deck and pool. Each studio features 1 bedroom with a queen bed, 1 bathroom with a large shower, and an open layout living/dining/kitchen.

Neighborhood Description:
Bravos de Boston is in a quiet neighborhood on the north shore of the island. Beautiful La Chata beach is a 5-minute walk. The main town of Isabel Segunda and the ferry dock are both a 20-minute walk.

Getting Around:
Renting a car or golf cart is highly recommended so that you can enjoy everything that Vieques has to offer. Check out the Bioluminescent Bay or Black Sand beach! Rental vehicles tend to book up quickly, reserve your transportation as far in advance as possible.

The trip was amazing. The place was amazing Meeting Bianca and her husband was amazing. The trip was just what my wife and I needed. An amazing view from the deck and an even better view from the rooftop. We would recommend this propriety to anyone looking for an intimate getaway to reconnect.

Wonderful location, near city center with incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrouding islands. The accommodations were equally nice. You can even enjoy a pool just outside your fro t door. Enjoy!

Views were amazing as advertised! Perfect accommodation for a couple looking to unwind. Miles and Betty made sure everything was perfect! I used the pool daily. Easy access to town. Definitely need a vehicle to navigate the hills.

Lovely spot!

We enjoyed our stay here at La Roca. The owners replied quickly to our questions, and Betty the property manager was so helpful when we wanted info on places to go. It’s in a lovely and peaceful neighborhood , with a fabulous view of the ocean and surf from the pool deck and the rooftop, a great place to relax and read or nap. Vieques was so nice- relaxed, great weather, plenty of sunshine. Amazing beaches, too, some only a short walk or ten minute drive away.

What a View!!

La Roca Studios is every bit as good as it sounds! Excellent area, quiet neighborhood, and easy to get to (once you know your way around). The bathroom being together with the bedroom was a little adjustment, but you can shut the bedroom door if you must. We were comfortable, had everything we needed for the beach, tent, coolers, chairs. The owners were there while we were, what a delight! We loved it!

Biancas place was better than we could have hoped for ! Betty (the property manager) met us at our car rental place and escorted us to the rental, while also giving us great recommendations around the island. The property itself was gorgeous, the views were stunning and it was extremely clean. We had all of the kitchenware we could have needed and good pressure/hot water. We did have to share the pool with a tenant living in the next door apartment, but there was no problems with that, we even ended up sharing groceries at the end of our stay. Overall, perfect location and magical stay.

Excellent views and peaceful times

Property is exactly as advertised. It is essentially a duplex with a common wall, shared pool, and shared rooftop deck. Both units are identical mirror images of each other. Ocean views are plentiful and a gentle breeze always flows from the east, providing excellent ambient cooling. When needed, the Air Conditioning worked very well and kept us as cool we needed at night. Kitchen is well stocked. No oven, but there is a toaster oven that would work in its place. Communication with the island hosts was excellent. We’re looking forward to returning to Vieques again soon!

Exactly as Advertised!

We had a great time in Vieques and the studio apartment was perfect for us! The Housekeeper picked us up at the Airport with a great big Smiling Welcome, gave us a brief overview of the Island on our way to the Apartment, and she gave us her cell number in case we needed anything at all. We found everyone on the Island to be friendly and helpful and really loved our memorable week in Vieques! The Apartment had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and we did cook one night, but with all the delicious food trucks, we tried a different one every day! The roof top deck was our nightly favorite place for star gazing, and although the pool is not large, it was very refreshing after the Beach! I have never experienced such quietude on the Beaches. Unbelievable that each Beach was more beautiful then the other and for the most part, we had each Beach to ourselves for most of the time there! Don't skip the Bio Bay tour and "Fun Brothers" offers glass bottom kayaks, it was Amazing! Thank You Marie and Harvey! Steve and Kathleen

...but the view!!

Let me start by saying that the view from this property was second to none. It's terrific from the front patio...but from the rooftop deck it's breathtaking! And you're close enough to the beach to hear the waves breaking. Spectacular! Another positive for us was Miles and Betty. They were so great to work with. They were very responsive and provided us with great information. The studio was fine. We were a little surprised to find that there is a bed in the bathroom...or a bathroom in the bedroom. Not sure which it is but there definitely is not a door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. So leave your modestly at home...or send your partner outside to admire the view while you're doing your business. The swimming pool is interesting. It's 6 feet deep everywhere. If you're as vertically challenged as I am - 5'10" - you best be decent at treading water. The other thing about the pool is that it was in the shade pretty much all day during our visit. We were there in late January/early February. Not sure if it gets more sun during other times of the year....but the view!!! The washer and dryer were a nice touch. Everything you needed to do a load of laundry was provided. And we needed to do laundry because we were only provided with 2 bath towels, 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels for our 11 day stay....but the view!!! We were given only 2 garbage bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for our 11 day stay. We ended up buying more toilet paper and gifting a couple of rolls to the neighbors when we left...but the view!! Overall it was a great experience. The island is everything we could've hoped for. The people were great, the food was great, the horses were great...and the view was terrific!!

A friend a I traveled to Vieques for a bit of vacation and remote work. The rental is well situated and walkable to restaurants and beaches. We did have a car and the parking was free. I also appreciated that they offered free laundry, beach chairs and towels, and snorkeling gear. The pool was a bonus as well! The rental does not offer basics like coffee grounds, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. We went to the market for some snacks and grabbed coffee there.Something to consider is while the bedroom does have a door, the bathroom is inside the bedroom and does not have a full wall for privacy. Depending on who you are with it could make for an awkward stay. Overall it was a good stay!

Location, Location, Location

La Roca Studios sits high enough on a hill to provide an amazing view and plenty of ocean breezes. It is close enough to the ocean to hear the surf break. Located in the Bravos de Boston neighborhood, there is a community feel…people going to work in the morning, roosters crowing and friends out on a morning walk. If you like to cook, the studio is well stocked with pans and utensils, plus an awesome gas grill outside. The bed is comfortable and everything is very clean. WI-FI is very good. But the outside is where La Roca truly shines. Sitting outside your door with morning coffee, lounging in the pool or sitting on the roof top deck with an evening drink, all of these spots provide a fabulous view and fresh ocean air. We were fortunate enough to have the owners, Chris and Bianca, as our neighbors during our stay. What a great addition they were to an already fabulous vacation.

Oasis that encourages a total unplugging

The property is exactly what you need to get back to basics of what life is about: some place to cook food, a comfy bed, and lots of space to get fresh air and feel a part of nature while not going anywhere. Beautiful views of the ocean facing north setting you up for beautiful views of sunrises and sunsets. The plants on the property get you into island vibes such as bougainvillea. Very clean property with helpful amenities like washer and dryer but also some bug spray. The kitchen is outfitted with any vessel you think you might need. They even provide beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, and ice boxes for a day at the beach. And you have access to a pool shared with one other apartment (so private if you get lucky with no neighbors during your stay). The managers - Betty and Myles- are extremely responsive, kind, and friendly. The owner too! A great place to relax and not worry about any planning - just go with the island flow!

Lovely place and best vies on Vieques!

We spent three weeks at La Roca, one week of which was under the Covid quarantine. We were totally comfortable and never bored. The property is very well equipped. Cooking was no problem as there is a stove, toaster oven, microwave and large fridge. The basement laundry came in handy. La Roca is all about the view! Gorgeous ocean views in all directions! At night the sound of the waves is soothing. The walk to town is a pleasant one mostly along the water. We are 71 and 68 and did it easily. To get to the beaches for which Vieques is famous you need transportation. The beach close to the house is lovely to sit on but rocks, coral and rough surf prevent swimming. The property manager, Betty, was very helpful and responsive. La Roca would be especially perfect for two couples traveling together and sharing a vehicle. I highly recommend La Roca!
