From no snow to loads and a perfect week skiing!

The apartment was lovely and perfectly located for skiing with a easy green run down to the chairlift behind the property. It is well thought out in terms of the size/space and has everything you could need. It can sleep 5 no problem, but personally we thought it is perfect for 4 or less. Marie-Jo was very accommodating and helpful, and them having the ski shop too made it all very easy to sort that. They deliver the skis, boots etc to the apartment too which was an added bonus. The only minor downsides for us were that the wifi wasn't great, you can only get French channels on TV and you couldn't stream to them. Doucy is a lovely little village, with a supermarket, some shops and a few restaurants/bars. Perfect if you want a nice peaceful holiday. However Valmorel is better if you want some night life. All in all we had an a lovely holiday and would definitely go there again.

Absolutely lovely property in a superb location, only steps from a very gentle piste.

Would highly recommend Chalet Fiu! Marie was so welcoming and presented us with a fabulous welcome gift on arrival. The Chalet was clean and modern with everything you needed to make your stay comfortable. When we couldn't work out how to use the oven, Marie came straight to our rescue which was really appreciated. The jacuzzi was a very welcome treat at the end of a busy day on the slopes, complete with ambient lighting and a privacy screen so you can totally relax! The ample decked area, with a good sized table, was a fabulous sunny spot if you wanted to ski back for lunch and chill out for an hour or so. The Chalet is in a quiet area that is very family orientated, so we really were able to relax, it was very peaceful. I'm very fussy about my pillows and the French style pillows won't be to everyone's liking, so you may want to take your own - as we did. There were TV's in every room but no English channels, we took our Amazon fire stick and enjoyed a few good movies with the kids as the wifi connection was superb in the Chalet. Can't really fault anything and would definitely love to return to Chalet Fiu.

WRONG LOCATION ADVERTISED!!! TOTALLY MISS SOLD!!! NOT a 3 minute walk from the gondola! NOT in the centre of Valmoral. NOT a minutes walk from several bars & restaurants. NOT a 2 minute walk from different ski lifts!! NOT the same town that our friends were staying in! NOT THE HOLIDAY WE BOOKED & PAID FOR!! EVERYTHING!!! In the location advertised is a complete LIE!! A 26 minute drive from Valmorel!!! A 40 minute ski lift navigation before you can even ski to Valmorel!! A lower altitude than Valmorel!! A fifteen minute UP HILL walk from the only ski lift to the apartment!! Only 3 bar/restaurants in the whole, tiny town!! Our entire holiday, in the 2nd busiest ski week of the season, that cost us a fortune!! was completely DESTROYED by the miss information regarding the location of this accommodation!! We couldn't spend a single evening with our friends that we had gone on holiday with bacause we were in different towns!! Our ski day was cut so short because we were unable to ski back to our accommodation (unlike if we'd been actually staying in Valmorel that had snow at resort level) and had to get back to the lift to take us back down. No drinks slope side after skiing, no skiing back for lunch at the apartment as we expected, loads of food taken out therefore gone to waste! I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOOKED THIS ACCOMMODATION IN A MILLION YEARS IF I KNEW THE ACTUAL LOCATION!!! FRAUD AT IT'S FINEST!!! Court proceedings next!!

Zunächst einmal: Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Die Umgebung ist unglaublich schön, es gibt dort tolle Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten und das Wetter war herrlich. Aber…Auf der Fewo Direct-Website wurde mehrfach erwähnt, dass Whirlpool, Bettwäsche und Handtücher inklusive sind. Und tatsächlich gab es einen kleinen Hinweis darauf, dass die Nutzung im Sommer möglich sei. Ich hätte selbst danach fragen sollen. Also 280 ärmer für zwei Wochen Handtücher, Whirlpool und Bettwäsche. Der Preis war nicht aufgeführt, und da wir nach einer Woche weder neue Handtücher noch Bettwäsche bekamen, halte ich das für viel Geld.Die Wohnung war bei unserer Ankunft alles andere als sauber. So viele Katzen- und andere Tierhaare, dass Putzen sinnlos war. Außerdem kam beim Staubsaugen mehr Staub heraus, als aufgesaugt wurde.Wir haben dreimal frischen Hundekot im Garten gefunden, was mir persönlich sehr missfällt. Ich könnte noch ewig über Hygiene reden, aber ich denke, die Botschaft ist klar.Nun zum Bett. Es ist ein neues Ferienhaus, und ich finde das 1,40 x 1,80 m große Bett unglaublich klein. Aber das ist nur ein kleines Detail.Und dann ist da noch die Lage. Auf der Fewo-direct-Website war Valmorel angegeben. Es stellte sich heraus, dass es Doucy Valmorel war. Immer noch ein wunderschöner Ort, aber 18 Haarnadelkurven weiter und ziemlich abgelegen.Verstehen Sie mich nicht falsch. Wunderschönes Urlaubsgebiet, schreckliches Ferienhaus.

Désolée que vous n’ayez pas lu l’annonce jusqu’au bout , car effectivement toutes ses prestations sont payantes l’été et inclus dans le prix l’hiver…. Vous n’avez pas payé 280€ mais 270€ … Je vous ai compté qu’une semaine de jacuzzi, la deuxième était gratuite… Pour les draps et les serviettes, vous avez à votre disposition un lave linge et sèche linge, vous auriez tout à fait pu laver le linge entre les deux semaines… D’ailleurs celui ci était tellement sale , que nous avons dû le vider complètement, le laver et le remplir à nouveau malgré un gros système de filtration 😞😞 En ce qui concerne le petit jardin devant l’appartement, je suis désolée d’apprendre que par 3 fois il y avait des excréments de chien … je n’en était pas informé… comme le jardin n’est pas clôturé il est tout à fait possible que des chiens ou des renards viennent faire leurs besoins ici , nous sommes en pleine nature 😃😃 Par contre , faire les gages de foot sur mon mur végétal n’était vraiment pas une bonne idée … Enfin pour la propreté de l’appartement, je l’ai fait moi même avant votre arrivée… Cela fait plus de 10 ans que je loue mon bien et je n’ai jamais eu de remarque concernant la propreté de celui ci… Par contre à votre départ , j’ai mis plus de 3 h à le nettoyer, le lave vaisselle n’était même pas vidé , la graisse coulait de la hotte , et j’en passe … alors non je ne vous accueillerait plus dans mon appartement…

Séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon moment en famille. Malgré le manque de neige à proximité du chalet, les propriétaires ont trouvé une solution pour nous garder nos skis à proximité des remontées mécaniques pour que nous ne portions rien. Merci. Cette toute petite station est très accueillante.

Un petit coin de paradis

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines à Doucy dans un logement impeccable, offrant des prestations sympathiques comme le jacuzzi et la terrasse en extérieure. Nous avons apprécié la localisation. La piscine est située à 2 pas et des randonnées sentiers famille sont facilement accessibles. Nous recommandons ce logement aux familles en quête de calme et de nature.

Prachtig chalet op 100 meter van de piste

Mooi chalet, keurig en luxe ingericht. De piste is 100 meter lopen en Doucy is een klein gezellig dorpje. Vriendelijke verhuurder die ook eigenaar is van de ski-verhuur. Erg gemakkelijk! En... Na het skiën is de jaccuzzi heerlijk!

Beau séjour, belle location

Très agréable accueil, il ne manque rien, confort, calme à proximité du bourg (par un petit sentier goudronné) et de Valmorel (environ 20 minutes en voiture). On trouve tout à proximité : supérette (qui livre le pain quotidiennement sur demande), produits régionaux, petits restaurants et bars sympathiques. Bonne base pour toutes activités. L'appartement est cosy, très bien équipé et le jacuzzi est très agréable après les randos!

Vacances à Doucy, on y reviendra :)

Très beau séjour passé chez Marie Jo et Gérald. Propriétaires sympas et accueillants. Toujours bien conseillés pour les activités, les restos, les lieux à ne pas rater. Le logement est vraiment très agréable et conforme à l’annonce, le coin est calme et reposant. Mais il n’en reste pas moins beaucoup de choses à faire et de magnifiques paysages à découvrir.

Nous avons apprécié le cadre magnifique, chalet situé dans une impasse, pas de circulation, pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour les courses, piscine à proximité. Chalet très propre et bien équipé pour une famille, une vue superbe !!!!!
