This was the perfect place to stay for Spring Skiing
My husband and I drove up to Tahoe for some Spring skiing and had a wonderful time. The location was so close the palisades village we could easily walk to and from. The condo had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

The unit overlooks a stream and we could listen to the running water as we relaxed after skiing all day
Great location! Great communication, thoughtful samples and welcome cookies. The unit had everything we need and more. The Shirley canyon trail is super close and so beautiful. Restaurants within walking distance, couldn't have had a better stay. Thank you!
Only thing - would have liked more pieces of wood for the fireplace - only had 1 piece.
Some dishes were dirty, especially the frying pan. The location was great, didn’t have to stress about parking.

Good with a few downsides
Overall pretty good, except bed is way too soft (old), shower doesn't drain well (gross), price, stair access only

We booked this condo through Expedia for its proximity to the ski resort and dog-friendly policy. Communication with Tahoe Truckee Vacation Properties was easy via text, and they were responsive. The condo, while in an older building needing updates, was comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and a nice living room. It’s a bit farther from the ski resort than expected, about a 10-minute walk, which can feel long in ski boots. However, its location near the village offers plenty of dining options, including a Starbucks. Appreciated the pet-friendly policy!

Needs updating and beds very uncomfortable
The location is good - although a long walk in ski boots - and the place is spacious. But the beds were extremely uncomfortable. It really made the stay challenging. If the owner would buy a good mattress for the queen and a better pull out, the place would be much improved. Also there was no second comforter for the pull out and the main bed had a laughably thin comforter. All made for very uncomfortable sleeping all around. The rest of the place needs updating but that didn’t bother us too much.

Property was convenient, but super dated and pretty much worn out. Carpet, plumbing, bedding, sofa are all past their useful lifetime. Cleanliness was spotty. Facility felt like a aged dorm-room or employee housing. The cost with all fees was out of line with the value. Ceiling was sagging to the point where it could be a future structural hazard. The view as great, but I'd only rent this place again if the total out of pocket price was < half of what was paid.
An absolutely perfect stay. The proximity to the slopes and Palisades village can’t be beat; it was so nice to be able to head home for lunch and then walk right back to the slopes. The Shirley Canyon trail was a few feet away and our dog had so much fun exploring that and running through the snow. The cabin was cozy, everything worked properly and the check in and check out was smooth. Would absolutely return!
We had a great experience staying at this place for the weekend while attending a wedding. It was nice and close to the village so we could walk over and meet up for the events. Bed was comfortable and it was really quiet. Thank you for the great stay.
Easy check-in, and out with keypad door lock. Condo is across the street from Shirley Canyon trail head, and 300 yds to Pallisades village. Unit is a little smaller than it looks in photos, but very comfortable! Had some ( serious) noise issues at night with people in apartment directly above, but when they were gone, or asleep, the building was very quiet.
Weather conditions prevented us from arriving on our original check-in date, but Kerrie was super helpful and communicative to help us reschedule. The property location is awesome! Within walking distance to Palisades and the Village shops/restaurants. Parking can be a bit tough, however. The TV and internet did not work when we arrived, but Kerrie also quickly helped us resolve those issues. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, and everything was clean overall. We'd love to stay here again for future skiing trips!

Very nice & close to The Village at Squaw
The keycode for the door didn't work, luckily they had after hours answering service but it took over 20 minutes to get inside the condo. Once inside we were very pleased with this super clean, super spacious condo. Great views of the mountains, you can hear the creek from your balcony & windows! Very relaxing! Only a short 5 minute walk to the Village at Squaw. Overall, it was an absolutely amazing time! Thank you!
The place was epic and the location to the resort was awsome. Thanks. Will definitely stay again.

Condo is not clean at all. Dirty dishes everywhere, dishwasher, oven, knife block.
Looks totally different than the picture shows. I am so glad that we did not stay an extra two nights that we requested when we got there.
There was also a cigarette smell that lingered. And we are not smokers!!!! There was only one trash can bag, and only two dishwasher tabs.
If you’re not staying in the actual village in Resort at Squaw, this is the most amazing alternative. We wanted close and we needed to be able to bring our dog. This is a sweet little spot. It might be a bit dated, but it doesn’t matter. It has everything you need! If you’re interested in having a fire in the stove just make sure to bring your own kindling as none is provided. Other than that it’s perfect!

Nice corner unit
It’s our second tome staying here as a family of four and we enjoy the corner spot by the river and the closeness to the a village. This time we had a problem with the door code on checkin but otherwise we had a good time. WiFi seems to go out every night but we work round that.
Came here for the Spartan world championship which was held at the resort. This location was a perfect five minute walk from the village. Being a corner unit it had lots of natural light and beautiful views.
The couch was extremely comfortable, and I found myself sleeping on it two of the four nights. 😉
There are plenty of utensils and cookware in the kitchen. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and also shampoo conditioner and soap was provided.
I think the only thing that would be useful is a summary sheet to explain the checkout procedures (I.e. trash, washings dishes) as well as how to control the temperature. I finally figured out that they were wall heater units. Something I have never seen before. LOL
If I were to return to this area, as I am a skier as well, I would consider staying here again
