About this property
Contemporary 2 BDRM Condo Near the Village at Palisades
Look no further than our Mountain Chic Condo! Enjoy a quiet time in the mountains in our tucked away, private condo. We are minutes from the slopes, as well as walking trails, and other adventures. Our cozy sanctuary has two bedrooms and 1 bathroom, and fits 4 guests perfectly.
Absolutely no parties or loud groups.
Enjoy our sanctuary in the mountains, walking distance to the incredible slopes at Alpine Meadows. The condo boasts a modern chic mountain vibe, comfortable throughout the year. Our condo is tucked away from the crowds, but close enough you can literally ski to the front door. We are in a smaller complex and we are lucky to have one of the ground floor properties. We worked with a local contractor to update the unit, then added new furniture, quirky artwork and numerous games to create a cozy/fun environment.
In the winter months, you can walk to the slopes, or simply drive down the hill to the parking lot. We couldn’t be closer to the base at Alpine Meadows.
The condo has two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an open concept kitchen, living, and dining area. We also have a lovely deck for you to enjoy the snow capped mountains. The kitchen is completely updated and modern with a breakfast bar, a dining area with seating for 6, and opens up onto the contemporary living room.
During the colder months, enjoy our wood burning fireplace. Please note, no outdoor fires are allowed at any time.
Our living room also has a Television with Roku, a desk/workspace, a comfortable couch, and family games.
The room configuration is:
- Bedroom 1: One queen bed
- Bedroom 2: Twin bunk bed with pull out futon
Nearby Activities: Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows Resort, Burton Creek State Park, Jakes On The Lake Restaurant, Lake Tahoe, Le Chamois & Loft Bar.
Facts about the home:
- During the winter months, we recommend AWD, 4WD, or chains in the case of heavy snowfall.
- Unfortunately, pets are strictly not permitted at this property.
- We have fast Wifi with min 50mbps upload and 50mbps download speeds.
- There are three steps to get into the home.
- We do not provide firewood for guests.
- During the winter months, outdoor furniture is unavailable.
- This home DOES NOT have AC (like most homes in Lake Tahoe). We do provide floor fans.
- Due to extreme wildfire risk, any type of outdoor wood burning fireplaces, fire pits, or charcoal grills are strictly prohibited. Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short term rental regulations.
- This is a smoke-free property.
- Concierge services available through Tahoe Cohost Collective.
Parking at the home:
We have a shared parking lot with the rest of the complex and one designated non-covered spot. Please be respectful of others in the parking lot. Please always lock your car. We are not responsible for theft, bear break-ins, etc.
STR Permit #: STR22-6092 | Max Daytime Occupancy is 7 (excluding guests 12 and younger); Max Overnight Occupancy is 5 (excluding guests 12 and younger) | Parking: 1 Non-Covered Parking Spot in Complex's Parking Lot - NO STREET PARKING NOV 1-MAY 1 | Quiet Hours are from 9pm - 8am | Placer County's Good Neighbor Policies Listed in Photos and House Rules.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
A Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), North Lake Tahoe TBID Assessment and OV | AM MD Assessment is included in your reservation.
Please note that living in the mountains and staying in a private home means that there are some things we cannot always control. For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are far and few between, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
