Beautiful home

Fantastic stay in this beautiful house. Garden is huge - kids loved running in it and the upstairs room just for them. Great location, 5min drive to park just behind the dunes next to the sea. Lots of options for restaurants/short drives to shops. Would happily stay again!

Easter getaway

Easy to book, excellent contact with the owner. Very big garden, pictures don’t do it justice!! House has plenty of room and it well equipped. Easy access to and from Fort Mahon.

Fabulous Home

This home couldn’t have been any better for our vacation. It was clean and comfortable and was so close to all the areas we needed to visit. It was so easy to contact the owner. Can’t recommend this home enough!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine grâce à cette maison spacieuse, très bien équipée, très confortable et disposant d’un superbe grand jardin où nos petits enfants ont pu courir et se cacher en toute sécurité. Propriété idéale pour des vacances familiales.Le cœur de la ville et la plage peuvent être rejoints aisément à pied et tous les commerces sont bien achalandés.

Das Ferienhaus ist innen sehr schön eingerichtet. Man hat das Gefühl, dass man im eigenen Ferienhaus ist. Die Küche ist auch für ambitionierte Köche sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind modern. Im Wohnzimmer ist ein sehr schöner offener Kamin, der auch gut zieht und heizt.Außerordentlich ist der parkähnliche Garten mit großem Rasen und schönen Bäumen.Der mit dem Auto oder Fahrrad schnell zu erreichende Strand ist sehr gepflegt und das Meer angenehm.Einkaufen kann man sowohl in einem Carrefour ind der Nähe als auch bei schönen Bäckereien, Fachgeschäfte und Metzger ind der Hauptstraße zum Meer.Alles in allem ein toller Ort!

Bon hébergement mais je ne mets pas 5 étoiles car il y avait quelques petits problèmes.Malheureusement la chaudière était défectueuse et une salle de bains sur deux n’avait pas d’eau chaude (eau à peine tiède). Il y avait des parasols mais pas de pieds de parasol donc ils étaient inutilisables. Il manquait également quelques ustensiles : par exemple il y a un barbecue mais pas d’ustensiles adaptés ce qui oblige à utiliser une fourchette, peu pratique lorsque le barbecue est chaud. Certains équipements faisaient aussi défaut, comme un grille-pain. Attention si vous avez un chien : il y a un trou dans la clôture. Je ne sais pas où exactement mais mon chien l’a trouvé et j’ai dû aller le chercher dans la rue.Mis à part ces problèmes facilement réglables, l’hébergement est très bien et agréable. La cheminée est appréciable avec du bois à disposition. Le jardin est très grand, pratique pour les chiens et les enfants, et le coin est très calme. Je recommande tout de même nous avons passé un très bon moment.

Schönes Picardie-Haus in ruhiger Umgebung und parkartigem Garten. Gemütliche Einrichtung mit antiken Möbeln, funktioneller Küche und einem prächtigen Kamin. Die obere Etage ist für Kinder konzipiert. Die beiden Toiletten sind allerdings dringend renovationsbedürftig und entsprechen nicht diesem Preissegment. Ein herzlicher Empfang und freundliche Kommunikation.

Toller Garten

Wir haben zu dritt (3 Freundinnen 60) mit einem kleinen Hund eine Woche im Haus der Familie Matysen verbracht. Das Haus hat Charakter und Flair, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das kleine Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss ist ein Durchgangszimmer zum großen Schlafzimmer, in dem sich auch das eine Bad und die eine Toilette befindet. Da es in dem großen Schlafzimmer aber eine Tür nach draußen gibt, man das Durchgangszimmer also nicht durchqueren muss, um in die restlichen Räume oder den Garten zu gelangen, macht das nichts. Die Küchenmöbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben viel gekocht und dann draußen im Garten gegessen.Der Garten ist wunderbar, riesig und von großen alten Bäumen gesäumt, also nahezu uneinsehbar. Da das Gelände abgeschlossen ist, können Hunde hier prima toben. Die Lage ist ruhig und zu den Geschäften oder in die Baie d‘Authie lässt es sich in 15-20 Minuten prima laufen. Das Restaurant „Auberge de la Louvière“ am Ende der Straße ist sehr empfehlenswert.Ein sehr schönes Haus für alle, die eine ruhige Lage und eine persönliche Atmosphäre schätzen.
